Went here on a Thursday evening and had a hard time finding a parking spot. It was around 8 pm and we drive around for 10 min and finally found a spot. We walked in and they were busy. But we got right in! Music...More

We stopped here on a Friday afternoon after a morning trip to Washington. There were 5 of us. Very crowded but we were seated within 10 minutes. I had the cod and it was the best ever. Everyone in our party really enjoyed their selection....More

We didn't know that St. Patrick's Day is celebrated one week early in Annapolis -- but the festivities added to a jovial, albeit very crowded, atmosphere. The restaurant doesn't take reservations . . . and even at the early time of 5:30, we had to...More

Excellent local restaurant in Annapolis that easily serves the best crab dip in town. Last summer, Jimmy Buffet stopped by while sailing through, so you never know who you might meet. Despite the crowds, the huge bar can accommodate many so there is never an...More

Grabbed lunch at the boatyard with my 84 year old Mom and 21 year old daughter on a Tuesday afternoon. We all enjoyed our meals — the crab dip sandwich (though the roll was a bit over toasted), a chicken sandwich that was very filling,...More

Great food and most excellent service by Lauren. Highly recommend the fish tacos. Just wish happy hour drink prices were available in the dining room.

Boatyard is one of those places that is very consistent in it's food quality and service, and both are almost always very good. It is a loud place though, so if you're looking for something casual but quieter there are better places. The bar scene...More

Worlds best crab cakes by far. Drove down to Annapolis after a business dinner in Bethesda MD on Saturday night, worried that Sunday brunch would not include their famous crab cakes my wife called at 8:05am "seconds after there opening" to confirm there availability. When...More

I was pleasantly surprised by the "local" atmosphere and how comfortable it was. I had crab cakes which were somewhat surprisingly quite good too. My only complaint is the parking, otherwise, the service was good and so was the food.

Great bar and bar food and hang out by boaters and locals. Service always cheerful. Parking can be a problem...unless you are coming from your boat!

I assume that crab cakes are $23 for a plate with 2. Best to check the menu online. I have discussed the crab cake quality with my friend who is a Maryland Girl. She says that the Boat Yard crab cakes are in the top 2 or 3... More

The Boatyard is where local sailors, fishermen and lovers of the Chesapeake enjoy pint drinks, great crab cakes and the freshest local seafood. Specialties include smoked fish of the day (on premise), cream of crab and Maryland crab soups and an extensive list of crab and seafood specialties. The First Lady came from the White House to enjoy our crab cakes. The Boatyard has the most extensive raw bar in the area including a variety of oysters, clams, shrimp and mussels. The Boatyard receives awards for being most family friendly and having the best burger on the Bay. Its weekend brunch is the best in the area. The Boatyard is located in the historic maritime district of Eastport-a short walk or water taxi from Annapolis City Docks. Its photo boat films the local sailing races and shows them nightly. Named by Coastal Living, Sailing World and Sail Magazine as one of world's top sailing/boating restaurants.
