I had lunch at Boatyard the other day. I haven't been there in years. Nothing has changed, it is casual with a nautical leaning in decor. They were busy but we were seated easily. One complaint is while there were a lot of seats available...More

Visited the Boatyard for lunch with my nephew who goes to the USNA. I was afraid that there would be a wait at 12:30 and on a day where there was a Navy game at 2:00. But our party of 3 was seated immediately. We...More

The Boatyard Bar & Grill, has the best Crab Cakes you will ever eat. They have little added fill and all crab meat. The meal has 2 large crab cakes with sides. My grandson had the Fish Tacos, which was great! The restaurant is noisy,...More

Hard to describe Boatyard as a local's place, but it seems that way when you're there. Very much a yachting and racing atmosphere, you'll feel like you're in Newport, RI or Newport Beach, CA! It's actually in Eastport, which is just across the bridge from...More

Loved this restaurant. The service and food were excellent. I got the crab cake dinner with a side salad. Definitely recommend!

Great place to grab some seafood with family and friends. Casual and no reservations required. Fresh local raw oysters on the menu were excellent. For the main course, fish tacos with blackened, cajun-spiced mahi mahi were a sensation. We highly recommend it.

The is an easy walk from the city pier and downtown. Good casual fare, but no view since it isn't waterfront.

Very nice, but also very casual place with a nautical feel. Service was excellent, and this was some of the best seafood place I've ever had - I've traveled to every coast in the US. Crab cakes were unbelievable, as was the Tuna steak. The...More

We were a party of three. We arrived around 4:30 and immediately seated. By the time we left, 5:30-5:45, there was a line waiting. I’d just call and inquire whether they accept reservations. Excellent food. We found if you... More

The Boatyard is where local sailors, fishermen and lovers of the Chesapeake enjoy pint drinks, great crab cakes and the freshest local seafood. Specialties include smoked fish of the day (on premise), cream of crab and Maryland crab soups and an extensive list of crab and seafood specialties. The First Lady came from the White House to enjoy our crab cakes. The Boatyard has the most extensive raw bar in the area including a variety of oysters, clams, shrimp and mussels. The Boatyard receives awards for being most family friendly and having the best burger on the Bay. Its weekend brunch is the best in the area. The Boatyard is located in the historic maritime district of Eastport-a short walk or water taxi from Annapolis City Docks. Its photo boat films the local sailing races and shows them nightly. Named by Coastal Living, Sailing World and Sail Magazine as one of world's top sailing/boating restaurants.
