Pretty nice place to chill. Don’t get to go to the platform area as there’s Christmas party going on and quite crowded. Got cheap shrimp and oyster for 1 or 2 dollar each. Good location as well.

I love the Boatyard. The food is always good and it’s a fun place to go. If you want a stuffy “5 star” restaurant don’t go. However if you want an enjoyable, fun place with a relaxed atmosphere, good food and fantastic sailing decorations this...More

We decided to eat here before walking around Annapolis. The food was terrific, great crab cakes and great beers. It’s been a while since we have been here. Hopefully we can get down again soon.

Had trouble deciding what to eat, as there were so many dishes that interested me, but I asked the waitress about the fish tacos and she highly recommended them. I got them grilled, my husband panko crusted. The side of rice and beans was also...More

Description
The Boatyard is where local sailors, fishermen and lovers of the Chesapeake enjoy pint drinks, great crab cakes and the freshest local seafood. Specialties include smoked fish of the day (on premise), cream of crab and Maryland crab soups and an extensive list of crab and seafood specialties. The First Lady came from the White House to enjoy our crab cakes. The Boatyard has the most extensive raw bar in the area including a variety of oysters, clams, shrimp and mussels. The Boatyard receives awards for being most family friendly and having the best burger on the Bay. Its weekend brunch is the best in the area. The Boatyard is located in the historic maritime district of Eastport-a short walk or water taxi from Annapolis City Docks. Its photo boat films the local sailing races and shows them nightly. Named by Coastal Living, Sailing World and Sail Magazine as one of world's top sailing/boating restaurants.
