I kind of like lighter beers, and especially so when the temps are plus 90 degrees. The beer here was good, and the atmosphere and location are good to. The server was nice too. I did not eat buy my wife had the salad and...it was fine. I would go back for sure if in the area.More

Great stop for a beer and pizza lunch. Had the Cerveza Roja and the pizza “La Rana Dorada”. Web said open at Noon, but actually opened at 12:30. Worth the wait. The music and ambience are very relaxing and a nice break from the heat.

We started with beer and wine…my wife would have preferred a Moscow Mule, but they didn’t have the ingredients. I was really happy with the beer selection, which included a superb grand cru, a style I rarely see. The crispy thin crust pizza was exactly...how all thin crust pizzas should be: blackened from the oven, with a thin enough profile that you don’t feel too guilt about eating it. Just the right balance of toppings, too. The chicken and cheese quesadillas looked the part, with a nice browning on most of the tortillas. But, what was inside was surprisingly bland. There’s a huge amount of cheese, but not a lot of flavor. The dips that came with it were nice, but not enough to elevate it. The service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, they couldn’t sell me a beer glass with the cool frog logo. This was due to our travel happening shortly after Christmas; I suspect supplies will be restocked by the next time we go. I did get a shirt, however.More

There are multiple locations for La Rana and we went to two of them. The closest to our hotel was in Casco Viejo with a street address of Calle 9 Este con Calle Boquete . That said, I'm sure the beer is equally wonderful across...locations and my favorite was an excellent "West Coast" style IPA and hubby loved the Porter. We both enjoyed the veggie pizza. Great selection of craftbeers, good ambiance and service. Their pizzas and nachos are great too. Made it our daily stop for a few beers while in Panama City.

Recommended by a friend who lives in Panama City. Nice, clean, well-done spot. Staff were nice. Ordered Pilsner that was tasty, pizza and burger. Burger was “ok”, not bad, but not great. Pizza was tasty, and I would get again. Sat at bar, there was...a good crowd watching the football. Definitely pricey for Panama City, but a nice spot that I would return to for a few beers.More

Our hotel was next door to the Cerveceria and this became our HH spot during our stay. The ambiance is incredible, the beers are fantastic and the people are so kind. Everything conspires to make your stay relaxing and fulfilling.

Delicious pizza, great staff and beautifully decorated! Warm woods, brick and cement interior with nothing lights and delicious microbrewer beer and full bar.

Wonderful craft beer! We tried the IPA and pale ale. Lively environment, well spaced seating, good snacks and good service. I am sure we will return.

We found our way here while staying in Panama and I am so glad we did. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor. The beer was solid, I had the IPA and their pizzas were actually very good. It was a great change from...the all-inclusive hotel where we were eating and drinking the same thing over and over again.More

Awesome brewery with delicious beer, a food menu (that we didn't try), all in a really cool building with excellent service. Would definitely go back if we get the chance!

Truly a must in Casco Viejo. The beer is the best in Panama. This last trip, each day the bartender was horrible. The place is getting the dont care feel. Service and friendliness is long gone. Hopefully, the management can get things corrected. It should...be a 5 star place.More
