Booked this online from the UK as a surprise for my husband's birthday Our daughters unbeknown to him had paid for a bottle of prosecco as a surprise & this was brought out together with a card, once we had sat down The food &...service were both very good & although expensive, it was worth it - about similar to UK prices for the same standard Almost immediately after finishing the mains, a dessert with candle was served & the piano player doing happy birthday was performed & although the dessert was nice, we had decided to ask for a wait following the mains. This resulted in us both then being far too full up to actually choose our own dessert....and the full trolley selection did look good. I would suggest this in future to be held back to allow the guests to decide if they actually wanted to wait a little.....but it was a nice gesture after a very good mealMore
We were in Panamá on vacation. The guide at the canal visitors center recommended this place for lunch. The ambience was lovely & service impeccable. We came for lunch, but this was more Of a dinner service restaurant. I had the seafood ceviche and my...husband had the grilled prawns with a side of grilled vegetables. Everything was fresh and delicious.More
Amazing! Was looking for an nice good dinner for my birthday and this was it. The place is beautiful the staff was very nice and attentive. The food was sooooo good! I even ate it cold the next day. The price was even better for...such great food! Oh and I can’t forget the sangria was some of the best I’ve had in Panama!More
This place was truly a treasure. From the service when you exit your vehicle to the service when you are escorted out of the restaurant. I came for my birthday dinner and this restaurant was so clean I could eat off of the floor. The...food was amazing and very savory and well seasoned. They made my bday dinner complete with providing a candle and birthday sign to top it off.More
I started with their shrimp cocktail. The cocktail sauce had some kick but wasn't overpowering. It paired well with a Chardonnay. Then I changed gears and went for their green peppercorn steak. Wow! Perfect with a Cabernet, tender and delicious. I finished with pecan pie...and a Cappuccino. Excellent fare. I'll be returning for more.More
We ate here because we like seafood and because of the great reviews, but overall it was quite disappointing. Service was slow, and the food was not well seasoned and was nothing special. It does not live up to what people are saying about it.
This place is NOT a 5-star but you’ll get that impression when your read hundreds of overrated reviews. It is a nice place....primarily seafood and steaks with Caribbean flare and recipes. We started with the Grilled Octopus and Sea Bass Ceviche...both were superb! The steaks...we ordered (2 fillets and 1 Rib-Eye) were only mediocre-a ‘No Roll’ grade and are a la carte. Just fair.... Panama uses the US Dollar all over and there are no DEALS. There is ‘no exchange’ on the currency to benefit from...so BEWARE...you pay US Prices in Panama.... Nice atmosphere...nice decor...and waiter wasn’t exactly ‘Mr Personality’ but was polite. Overall...3.5More
I ordered the Greek seafood salad, the pulpo a la Gallega (octopus Galician style) and the I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and the langostino appetizer. There are several unique seafood dishes on the menu. I might go back before I leave. A little...pricey but all seafood is pricey anywhere you go.More
Great atmosphere, great food, nice craft cocktails. I had the Old Fashioned. My meal was the lobster tail and prawns over scallop risotto. I would totally visit again!
Delicious seafood restaurant with a professional, prompt service. Panamanian ceviche was the best ceviche I had in Panama City, although quite simple - fresh deliciousness. My mixed grilled seafood was a great dish. Pretty venue. Good value; fair prices for excellent quality food.
This is a very nice restaurant with delicious food, excellent service and atmosphere but the prices are not exorbitant. We liked it so much we went back a few days later on a Friday and were fortunate to find they had a piano player which...made the experience even better. I highly recommend it.More
Our server Josh was very good. The shrimp and lobster was previously frozen (a bit rubbery). The sauces were watery and not interesting. The decor, music and menu caters to a much older corporate clientele. This place had it's time in 1983; where your grandma...would take you.More
We were nearly the only people in the restaurant. The waiter was really helpful, we had good fun trying to speak Spanish and the waiter to speak English, but we got on really well and managed to order some amazing food. The fish was really...tasty and fresh and portions a good size.More
Not sure where the good reviews come from. Cannot be leggit. Not fresh lobster. Came with a smudge of cold mashed potatoes for effect. Said grilled lobster. Showed with 3 prawn sized previously frozen pieces for $35 Us plus sides. The raviolis was in such...a thick cream sauce was too rich to eat. Place was completely empty. Reservations book open at entrance had 2 reservations.More
