This is a bad option, if you want artisanal or craft beer. So I mean the price is too expensive for the product remember you are in Peru and it is posible to find reasoble or cheaper price for craft or draft beer. A short walk from our hotel (Jose Antonio Deluxe) we stumbled on this brew pub. A flight of stairs led us to an amazing draft house with the Game of Thrones on one TV with Spanish subtitles and the NBA playoffs on another. But most...importantly there were two dozen local beers on tap including three IPAs (our favorite). Besides sitting at the bar enjoying the ambiance and our beers we indulged in a veggie quesadilla that was great. What a terrific start to our month in Peru and Ecuador!More
Just want a word of caution. Was overcharged tonight during happy hour for one beer and one Pisco Sour. There at around 7:30 pm. Waiter came suddenly and asked to pay immediately and for cash only citing that they ran out of change.... except they...accept card? At first asked how much... they said 34 and when we didn’t have enough change, I immediately heard him change to 54 that the Pisco Sour was 35 and then the beer was what 19 soles? Strange though we never specified we didn’t want the happy hour prices either and I even pointed at that section of the menu when ordering. I looked at the menu again and the most expensive normal cocktail is 25 soles. Our mistake was not asking more questions before we paid, but we were new in town so didn’t want to make a fuss. BUT even we know the prices here in Miraflores and that we were just overcharged/scammed so please beware!More

Lupulo is very well located, across the street from Kennedy park. The place itself is OK, not the most inviting in town, but OK. The highlight in Lupulo is the broad range of craft beer, which seems to be well chosen overall, incluiding the likes...of Valle Sagrado, Oveja Negra and other good suppliers. The only downside regarding beer, is that we've inconsistent flavors and aromas in some beers that we've tasted at least a dozen times in different locations. We've had some off flavors such as "eggs" and wonder if the lines are properly taken care of. Actually, overall Lupulo doesn't feel sparkling clean... quite the opposite. The food, well, is nothing to remember the place for... it's REALLY average or below. If they improved the food, clean up and ensure the highest standards for the beer, would be a place to repeat for sure.More
Their varity of craft beers is impressive, but that's the only thing. The service was very slow, my friend asked for some hot wings, and it came after 30 minutes, and we were the only clients at the bar... The decoration and location are good,...but there are better places in Miraflores. Also, this bar looks like just for foreingers... And craft beers are not a typical drink in Peru.More

I could only spend one night in Lima after flying in from Cusco. Peru has great beer and this place has many great Peruvian beers on tap. We sat on the balacony overlooking the parks. I do not know about the food at this craft...beer taphouse because I was only focussed on beer. For beer you cannot beat this place!More
I don't review often, but this is a 100% must for any beer interested tourist. Service was fantastic, a beer selection of 20+ local craft brews and lunch was plentiful, cheep and tasty. I hope I can come back tomorrow and see what it's like...at night.More

Almost opposite another craft beer place (BarBarian), but not quite as good. Small, lacking atmosphere. But a good selection of draught craft beers and bottles. WiFi, piped music, big-screen TV. No tasting paddles/ flights. Reasonable food menu. Definitely worth a visit, but not the best...craft place in Miraflores.More
Ana was so friendly and helpful. She recommended Peruvian beers to match our tastes, stopped to chat, and took great care of us. The bar was fun and also had tasty appetizers.
Right on Kennedy Square with window seats that have outdoor access. Fine selection of ales and the food coming out of the kitchen looked really tasty. Friendly service in a lively bar
I am from the United States and my Spanish is very rough but the man working there was very patient and polite and gave great recommendations on what was good overall a very nice spot the chicken quesadillas were delicious as well

We were looking for the old brewery and just happened to walk up stairs. They no longer brew at this location and the name has changed to Lupulo. They had about 20 Peruvian craft beers on tap. Braulio was super knowledgeable about craft beers and...spoke great English. We really enjoyed the beers from both Sierra Andina and Gringa. By far our favorite craft beer bar in the last 3 months of South America. Thanks Braulio!More
