The Bistrot has a calm and beautiful ambience love the background music. Absolutely love the decor felt like I was in a cafe in Paris.
The meals were both delicious and beautifully presented, well done chef.
The waiting staff are very attentive and very accommodating for modifications to the menu to accommodate the fussy little eaters.
Thank you we’ll definitely be back.

We visited this restaurant twice when on holidays in December. The food was excellent and it is more fine-dining quality than what you would expect from a standard bistrot food. It is a shame that service is let down and does not match at all the level in the kitchen. The service was slow, and waiter/waitress did not know about the specials. We were on the boxing day, and we discovered only after we ordered from the menu that there was a special boxing day buffet with unlimited mimosas!! We only knew as we asked the waitress what was that table in the middle full of food... As a result, I believe no one was having this special (I did not see anyone going to the buffet) as I suppose the waitress/waiter did not inform the other clients either. I found this attitude very strange and it reflects a lack of management, or bad communication from the chef or from the head waiter. In order to become one of our favorite, this restaurant needs to change the personal serving at restaurant. Waiters/waitresses should inform you of the specials when giving you the menu and should be able to answer simple questions about the menu/food. Good food is of course a must, but service should be good too...

From the moment we arrived to when we left we had a wonderful experience at Bistrot. Food was wonderful and staff very attentive and helpful without being intrusive. It was my partners birthday and they gave him a complimentary dessert with a candle, lovely touch. Very reasonable prices for the quality of food and service. Highly recommend a visit for a special occasion or just for a very nice meal.

The bistrot for the past few years was my favourite restaurant in Bali. The interior designe is spectacular. This time I was very disappointed unfortunatelly. The memu unchangeable offed the same meals which i Think is great as i already have my favourite meals So it is very Easy to decide unfortunatelly the portion of the meals were 1/2 of the usual partion. The french fries which I used to Think are best on Bali were very soggy and chlewy and they came as a very tiny portion In a white bad looking bowl- they used to be presented very nicely In big wooden bowl with lovely lemon aioli on the side.

I eat at The Bistrot every time I come to Bali. On previous trips the menu had changed so we asked a special request from the chef to cook us something from the old menu. He cooked 5 of our group the Anchovy encrusted steak. It was melt in your mouth and each person steak was cooked to perfection as they ordered from medium rare to medium well done. The food and service is AMAZING. It’s a definite for your dining list.

We were a party of ten and some of the guys had dined here before .. They were very keen to return and I can see why. Amid the mayhem of Seminyak sits Bistrot. It’s superb. The menu covers all bases but all cooked from fresh ( you can see the chefs doing there stuff in the kitchen) . My Thai beef salad starter was sensational . It’s not often you get asked how you would like the beef cooked.. The portion was immense too.. Just awesome. Our mains ranged from duck to chicken .. Even the burger was tops ! Only let down was lack of choice on wine. Service at all times was attentive without going over the top. The additional bonus is the really cool bar upstairs.. You could be anywhere up there ! Coming from UK the prices here half what we would normally pay and would struggle to match in terms of quality.
Bistrot was a great success and certainly on the list when we return next year . Comes highly recommended. Enjoy !

After a horrid flight into Bali i needed something to pick up my spirits. The Bistrot did it . My favorite area is the mezzanine . So it was to be . Prosecco , Bugs in Orange Sauce and some Octopus saw that flight melt away . Great Atmosphere , great food and service . A delightful place to dine ..

No idea why it has so many positive reactions. Price is very expensive & for such price it taste very bad. Mango juice is mixed with water which is so strange for Bali. Prawns tempura doesn’t taste fresh. Ravioli costs 100 000+ but it’s 2 (!!!) small ravioli. Tuna tartare doesn’t taste fresh enough too. The only reason I do 3/5 instead of 2/5 is chicken which was ok & the place itself looks nice.

We have dined here a number of times over the years and always looked forward to each visit. This time we were disappointed with the overall experience. Food OK, service OK bit OK is the enemy of excellence so if we come back to Bali we will have 2nd thoughts on coming back here,

I recently had one of the best steaks I've ever had at the Bistrot. Perfectly cooked with a side of bernaise, greens, and some shoestring fries.... The French classic, perfectly executed.
The interior is also interesting, spacious and air conditioned.
We had a great night at The Bistrot, and will definitely return on future visits to Seminyak.

We love this fantastic restaurant, the mix of industrial and french cosy decoration.
Normal when you know who has built this place.
The food is excellent.

Amazing design and decor, the hostess bring us at our table and immediately give us a welcome drink.

We had dinner at bistrot on a Saturday night. Food, atmosphere and service was outstanding. One of the best steaks I've had. If you are a bourbon drinker, the old fashioned that was smoke infused is a must x2.

Wow ! What an amazing place. We had breakfast here on our last day in Bali. Wish we had experienced dinner too if the breakfast was anything to go by. Atmosphere is great. Service outstanding and food incredible, so much attention to detail in the presentation. My pancakes were delicious!
Will be back when we are back in Bali next.

We had dinner here last night.
The steak was excellent and reasonably priced for Australian beef.
The staff are very friendly and attentive.
The decor is interesting and they have a magnificent bar.
If we had more time in Bali we would go again
