I booked a table to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. The night before restaurant called to reconfirm the table & told me I need to return the table by 8:30pm. I was quite surprised & asked why I wasn’t told abt this when I booked, especially...since I specified it’s a birthday dinner. The staff replied bluntly “I wasn’t the one who took your booking. We are booked back to back, so you need to return the table by 8:30pm.” It’s not uncommon for restaurants in HK to impose a dining time limit during peak hours, but customers are usually made aware of this AT the time of booking, not the day before. Had I know this limit, I would have picked somewhere else to enjoy a longer birthday dinner. Also attitude of the staff was very bad with no apology nor attempt to help. She said you can decide if you want to come or not. So basically take it or leave it. I decided to leave it.More

One of the best Italian restaurants in HK . No questions asked : excellent food, attentive service, warm ambience and very reasonable price.

Good pizza and pasta with great wine selection. Limited free parking available. COVID restrictions meant the twelve of us were seated at two separate tables by the window. We had a good time. Service was friendly but a bit slow.

The food was superb. The ambiance to match the fine home made pasta. A knockout joint for a very reasonable amount. Wine list is also great. I’ll be coming back!

Made a reservation for lunch about 2 weeks in advance. Arrived outside the restuarant around 11.15am, before they opened at 11.30am for our 11.30am resveration for there special priced set lunch for about 200HKD per person. Located in a non descriptove building about a 10...min walk from either Wanchai or Admiralty MTR. Saw the waiter who rolled up on his motorcycle which he parked outside. We asked for a window table, but learnt that the tables by the window were already reserved. Seems can reserve window tables which we didn't know. I was a little surprised because we were the first diners there and we had booked 2 weeks in advance. Anyway, we were sat away from the window. 3 course Italian meal. The service was quick and efficient. We had a choice of one of each of the starters, mains and desserts as we shared all dishes between the 2 of us. For main we selected the sea bass (was ok, but i found it a little dry) and the pasta (which was good). We had asked for thr caramel as one of our desserts, but was told it was sold out, but was surprised to see other diners who came to restuarant after us get served it. We had coffee as well, which was in addition to the set lunch price. Not too bad. Worth a tryMore

Went here with my wife for dinner. Everything was spot on. Service, food and drinks. We started with carpaccio and salad, via langoustine pasta and ended up with a grandmother-style tiramisu. Best Tiramisu in Hong Kong, no doubt, carpaccio was too. We have allergies that...affected all the dishes, and they adjusted without a fuzz. Very much appreciated. We also headed down to the deli that belongs to the restaurant in the basement. Don’t miss it, excellent produce not to be found elsewhere. We will be back very soon. Thank you for making a perfect dinner for us.More

Fenwick Pier, the building which houses this wonderful restaurant, is due to be knocked down relatively soon so make sure to visit ASAP! The food is superb, truly fantastic in fact. Great beef carpaccio starter and my veal ragu main was utterly, utterly delicious. Lovely...desserts too, and I’m normally not that fussed with pudding. My partner’s ravioli, and our friends’ pizza and spaghetti dishes were also very much enjoyed. The complementary bread, oil and balsamic vinegar was also appreciated. Service was mostly excellent and the space is unexpectedly impressive with good views as well. Plus a receipt from here gives you a discount at the amazingly stocked Italian deli below. As I said, visit while you can!More

The Italian food here is really excellent. Admittedly the location is a bit off-putting and it’s too far off the beaten track to recommend to tourists but we will certainly go back again. It’s hidden away upstairs inside the old, neglected Fenwick Pier, which let’s...face it, has seen better days. However if you overlook the shabby exterior of the building, the restaurant itself is completely different and is both spacious and lovely, with Italian styled décor and white tablecloths. A total transformation. The other big drawcard for me is that there is a fabulous Italian food store & fresh market downstairs. This alone makes it worth coming out of my way. FOOD: As soon as we were seated, they brought complimentary breads with olive oil and balsamic vinegar - a nice touch and the breads tasted lovely and fresh. We started with the beetroot salad with truffle dressing and the grilled scamorza cheese with speck and roasted peppers. Both were very good and the portions were large enough that we could each have a taste of the other’s. We had the sole fillet and the veal and mixed mushroom fettucine for mains. The fettucine was creamy and rich and although I enjoyed it, it was a little too heavy so that I could not finish it all. We ordered the lunch set menu which was good value (starts at $198HKD pp). However be aware that you will probably end up spending more because there is an extra charge for several of the starters and 6 of the 8 main dishes also had an added cost (mostly $28). SERVICE: This was excellent from start to finish. The waiter was attentive, making sure our glasses were filled and checking that we had enjoyed each course (which we had). COVID NOTE: The area was very spacious and tables were widely spaced. GETTING THERE: From Central, we walked along the new harbour-side promenade which is the best new addition to the city. This took us most of the way there and was probably a 10 – 15 minute walk, mostly along the waterfront.More

Fantastic venue. Great business set lunch. This is visit 10 for me here. It’s always so good. Located inside what appears to be a shabby old building in the middle of HKs land reclaiming project sits Gia. Simply great Italian food done well. Top pick...is the Parma ham and melon salad. Unpromising quality of ham means this is a winner. Highly recommend you book and visit. Table seating has a nice mixture of arrangements which are perfect for business lunches. Private and tasteful atmosphere, yet not over the top fussy, and the bill will even keep the company accountants smiling.More

A very rustic atmosphere, which is unusual for a modern city like HK, excellent service and great wine. The appetisers, mains and deserts are all very good. One of my favourite places. Great work!
