Tasty fried fish cake & cuttlefish balls, dry noodle in dark soy sauce tasted ok but not short of MSG. Food portion definitely not big & hence one May need a side-order.

We had dinner with Friends. Not easy to find the place as it has no English signs. You enter the building and must push the 5th floor. When you get out the restaurant opens up instantly. Simple chairs and round table. We had various dishes....Pork belly was super tender. Scallops very good. Mussels in local sauce, fried rise (excellent) +++ of course the blue Girl local beer out of soup bowls which is the original way. Lack of service and friendliness but that’s part of Hong Kong. Prices are moderate. EnjoyMore
We were here for the afternoon tea and the variety of choices is quite wide. Rice, noodles and a variety of fresh baked buns. The location is on street level so very easy to get to. Service is good and environment is comfortable. Well worth...the price.More
On the ground floor directly on the street, a quick service for breakfast with a lot of buns, including pineapple buns
Their pineapple buns, each served with its own slab of butter, are out of this world. I had tried pineapple buns previously and enjoyed them, but didn’t get what all the fuss was about. These pineapple buns are served warm, with a sugary, flaky top...and warm, oozing butter slab in the middle of the soft dough interior. We got them take-away for breakfast, but you can also sit inside. The pork buns and Portuguese tarts were nice, but the pineapple buns were the true stars!More
Formerly named "Ho Fat" changed names to Kai Kee a few years ago, but everything - decor, staff and their Goose leg rice is still the same. For a decent, relatively cheap (75HKD) for a delicious and filling Goose leg rice with soup in Tsim...Tsa Tsui (Near Guandong Hotel) try out Kai Kee.More
Taste nice, but they treat the visitors form China mainland really bad. 好吃是好吃,但是对待中国大陆游客服务态度比较差。尤其是不会讲粤语的游客。
great food, good well maintained, staff good and understand english properly good variety of choice, good bakery items have different choice
We were staying in kimberley rd and decided to check this place out The food was so filling and reasonably priced. Staff lovely
Laminated table, very busy, cheep prices, the food is Reasonable quality, we all liked our meals. The staff had no English.
We went here during the weekday. This is the first restaurant we had in HK TST. Most of the friends told me to be prepared to rude locals in HK. But when we went here, there is an old waitress that is very friendly and...accomodating. There is another waitress who was very rude no sense of customer service. The rude waitress was mopping the floor then served us a glass of water without cleaning her hands, she was holding it on the top part where you will sip the water. Very disgusting! Their food is great I love the pork fried with curry sauce and chicken with a tomato paste. Cleanliness - this restaurant is better than the restaurant nearby such as A+ kitchen nearby,(forgot the other one).More
Being a gastronomy expert and author of recipe books, I tried this "restaurant" to taste local food in Tsim Sha Tsui. I love expensive restaurants, but I also like to explore ordinary local restaurants when traveling. I ordered roasted goose and stir-fried spicy chicken. The...chicken was disgusting. It was a nasty mixture of too dry pieces of chopped chicken WITH BONES (!) and Sichuan chili peppers. The goose tasted OK but it was almost cold (badly heaten) and, again, WITH BONES (what a repulsive habit). To quench my thirst, I tried what they called "lemonade" on the menu. I had expected a cold, sparling drink of lemon, but what they actually brought was a nasty plastic cup filled with disgusting heated pipeline water with a few slices of lemon FOR 18 DOLLARS (see the photo enclosed). The staff was unwelcoming, slow and unpleasant. In short: NEVER MORE.More
ordered the pineapple bun with ice butter yummy just wish the butter was spreadable, pork bun was average. Lemonade is a must try. Meals hoi nam chicken is good, bake seafood, steak, pork chop was below my expectation.
My wife and I visited the Kai Kee Restaurant for dinner. Situated in Kimberley Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, it was diagonally across from our hotel - The Kimberley. It is a busy restaurant frequented by locals. For dinner I had the beef noddles with...soy sauce and my wife opted for another noodle dish. These were quite generous portions particularly for Chinese food. We also had the cold milk tea which was refreshing. I had my heart set on some entrees but these weren't on the menu. Service was a little slow at the start as they had to get the competent English speaking waiter to serve us. He was quite nice and explained that he lived in the US for two years. Once the dishes arrived they were almost thrown onto our table. For value, the meals were quite cheap. Out the front they have a mini bakery. Their warms buns are excellent. They sell the traditional Hong Kong pineapple buns (so named because the top resembles the patterns of a pineapple, not so the taste), and our favourite the Mexican custard bun - yummo! The custard bun cost 10 HKD and they had run out on a couple of occasions. Overall we were happy with the food but service could be better.More
pros mid range priced food is prepared fast and taste good pineapply bun is prepared fresh hourly and is yummy cons -dont expect a nice quiet ambiance, just eat and go -i can hear the food handler beside our table keep on sneezing and snorting...repeatedly. dont expect a hygienic atmosphere here. - and dont ask for glass water, and im not going to tell you why, just figure it out by yourself. buy your bottled water at 7-11 just few meters from here.More
