The food is described as Nikkei, and probably has its place in a small venue to serve its loyal clientele and probably the food warrants a premium price (we had Portobello Risotto and Arroz con Mariscos) but, while reasonably attractive, a bench is a bench, and people like me need something to lean back on. And now I want to... More

Had an enjoyable dining experience for a brunch on a lazy weekend. The restaurant is quiet and the atmosphere is cosy. All the staff are very friendly and attentive. On the food, the salad bar has enough variety and all the food are nicely presented. Love particularly the corn and pasta salad. The ceviche classico has a specially prepared sauce... More

This is a truly amazing place. Magnificent food combined with great drinks. The service was genuinely kind, attentive and helpful – couldn't wish for better service. The venue is wonderfully decorated and works for both couples and friends. It is located on the 21st floor which one should be aware of when trying to find the restaurant – as it... More

Went for dinner here with a friend and had a very nice meal. Started off with the Beef Empanadas which had a very nice crust and came with a nice trio of sauces...but I didn't get the full flavor of the Beef filling. I ordered the Beef Lomo Saltado (Beef and Vegetables Stir Fried in a Chifa Sauce) which normally... More

I was desperately looking for Peruvian food and found this amazing restaurant in the heart of Wan Chai. Since the beginning you can feel a friendly environment from all the staff and especially from Manuel, such a great Peruvian guy who prepares the best Pisco Sours in town and always displaying the latin american charisma...and don't forget to ask for... This place is an absolute gem, highly recommended. Good environment, nice view, friendly staff, a place that you want to come back again. I would recommend the Pisco Sour which is a refreshing cocktail to start your meal. I would also recommend the Ceviche Mixto and Scallop Tiradito which are absolutely delicious. As for the main course, I strongly recommend... More

Went with a mate on a Thursday night around 7pm. Good buzzing vibe and very friendly attentive service. Had ceviche starter which was delicious (but then I love most ceviche!), and an amazing Argentinian steak for a main - best steak I have had in a long time. Steak was 400 grams - bigger than I normally have, but they... More

Came here for lunch through friend's recommendation. Interior and settings were nice and cozy, waitress and manager were friendly and helpful too. We started off with a refreshing Peruvian cocktail (forgot the name of it) follow by few starters and main to share with, all the dishes were great and you can tell the freshness of the ingredients and the... Great restaurant! Super cozy and very friendly staff, Manuel really makes you feel welcomed. Highly recommend the beef heart anticucho and the ceviche mixto and top it off with a pisco sour. Delicious!

We came here based on the good reviews we saw on TripAdvisor. We went on a Super Monday night for dinner with my 3 friends. The restaurant was a bit empty but was cozy. We ordered the seabass ceviche ("ceviche de Classico") as an appetizer to share: it was very good but clearly overpriced ($198 for a few pieces of... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
