Went on a Friday night and surprised that it wasn’t packed. Made a reservation through OpenRice and enjoyed a 25% off (not applicable to kids meal). Ordered the soft shell crab burger and it was phenomenal on the first bite when that creamy stuffing from...the giant crab cake oozed out along with the crunchy soft shell crab but the more I worked on the burger, I found that the crab cake batter was too thick where I felt like I was having a piece of bread. The cookies & ice cream was tasty and could have been better if it uses soft cookies instead to avoid the ice cream from flying out when biting. Friendly staff and seating wasn't tight which was a plus.More
First time visitors...the natural yoghurt with fruits was great but I would suggest to put it in a bowl to serve instead of a jar. I had to eat the fruits first before I reached the muesli and yoghurt. The double eggs were nice and...bacon and sausage tasted well, glad to see that not much salt was used. Overall a good experienceMore
Went here for the first time with my two best friends for brunch for a farewell celebration. Convenient location as it’s just in between causeway and happy valley. Interior and ambience is great because of the nice rustic aesthetic the resto has. Also considering that...we were sit in a four seater by the window overlooking the nice city. Great selections in the menu for food and drinks. I ordered a steak and egg and it was delicious. My friends and I left satisfied. Only down side when I visited there was that I don’t think they were following the 1.5 meter away from table to table. Other than that, 10/10 would come back again :)More
Good food, prompt service, consistent preparation, well staffed, busy but always a table. Prices are reasonable, pleasing decor.
Cute place for brunch with wide selection of egg dishes. However, the dishes lacked refine and coffee was very average.
Nipped here for brunch / lunch and wish we’d found this place earlier in our holiday. Good selection on the menu. Kids ordered doughnuts with mixed berries - very large portions. If I’d known how big they were I’d have ordered one to share. But...very nice with fresh strawberries and blueberries. Waffle with chocolate and banana. Croque Monsieur was with sourdough bread and good pieces of ham. Clubbers hash was lovely but the smallest portion out of all of them. My husband didn’t mind as he helped the kids finish off their doughnuts. Tea was nice as well as the hot chocolate. Reasonable prices too. Left happy and well fed.More
Other than meal-sized gap in the arrival of our food, this is an excellent restaurant with interesting, varied decor and attentive staff. My lamb burger was very nice rather than great but the mint yoghurt sauce provided with the chips was absolutely delicious!
my friend and I came here for breakfast foods at lunch time. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day, so it was perfect that we could have it at 12:30 pm. The menu is extensive with many breakfast options as well as drink options....Both my friend and I choose 2 eggs any style, we chose between 3 bread options and could select 2 toppings. I chose walnut raisin toast, goats cheese and avocado with poached egss. My friend had 2 poached eggs, spinach, avocado and smoked salmon with what looked like french bread. There were 2 down sides of the meal; the seating and the coffee. 1)The restaurant was busy ( which does reflect its popularity), near the entrance the tables were rather close together and it was noisy, the middle section had comfy looking booths, but were fully occupied, we didn't want to sit at the bar height counters, so we chose a table at the rear of the restaurant which appeared to be quieter and more isolated. Because were were directly next to the kitchen, we were interrupted by the sounds of likely bread dough or something being slapped down onto the counter, and then the noise of the oven in operation. 2) my friend orders mocha cafe every time she dines at the Brunch club, and she had to send the coffee back because it was too sweet. Her comment to me was , its never the same each time she orders it, but she does love the food, because the menu allows her to have all the things she likes. I do prefer the environment of the central one if all you are wanting is breakfast.More
