This restaurant is located on the top floor of Sheraton Hong Kong in TST, featuring a big oyster bar with the super fresh seasonal oysters from different parts of the world, with also a wonderful view overlooking the Victoria Harbour and skyline on Hong Kong...Island. Making reservation on the day, we could not secure any of the window seats apparently, and were assigned to a corner of an inner dining room. Despite not having the nice view, it offered good privacy, with the same comfort and nice ambience of contemporary furnishings. After serving us the amuse bouche, the staff nicely introduced the daily specials to us, with a good range of nice seafood and premium cuts. Decided to pick the Mangalica pork, I then went to take a look at the oyster bar and asked the chef to help pick some for me. He ended up choosing Tia Maraa ($77) from Ireland, with good crispness which I like very much. La Perle ($77), a well-known breed, had a balanced salty and sweetness, with also nice creamy texture. KYS ($95) is an award-winning oyster, crisp with nutty and good iodine flavours. My favourite among the four. The last was Geay ($85), fleshy and crisp, with a subtle sweetness. All were very fresh and so tasty I wanted to order another round if not because we had already ordered other food. As my wife was still recovering and did not want to eat raw oyster, she ordered Caesar Salad ($210) to start. The crunchy lettuce was served with crispy pancetta, grated Parmesan cheese, anchovy, and the homemade Caesar dressing. It was very good in taste. I had another hot appetizer, going for the US Style Crab Cake ($315). The crab cake was baked to give a good brown, with plenty of crab meat seasoned beautifully. Paired with the Louise sauce, as well as the garlic and bell pepper aioli on the side, it was really nice and I finished the whole portion in no time. For the main course, as recommended by the staff, we picked the Mangalica Pork ($1120) to share. This Hungarian pig was famous for its rich and intense flavours, and the chef had grilled this 25 oz cut, after seasoned with salt and black pepper, to the absolute perfection. Juicy and tender despite the thickness, the fat added wonders and was one of the tastiest pork varieties. The grilled garlic and tomatoes on the side helped to lower the overall fattiness of the dish in a smart manner. Finishing with dessert, I opted for Sorbet ($85) to help cleanse my palate. The lime and mango & passion fruit scoop had a nice balance of sweet and tartness, with some mixed berries underneath too. My wife decided to go for Souffle ($160), with a nice puffy and airy texture. She thought it was too sweet though, even before adding the ginger cream on the side. Service was good, and with the busy night we could see the staff very hard-working serving and looking after all the tables. The bill was $2,303 after a 15% credit card discount. It is certainly a nice place to enjoy some good seafood and meats, in particular if you like oysters.More

My partner and I have recently enjoyed an absolutely delightful dinner at the Oyster & Wine Bar. The team was very welcoming and kind, service was great, the food presented by Chef Oscar was delicious, the wine a wonderful combination. The occasion was special as...it not only was our Wedding Anniversary, but also a moment of quality time as one of us will leave to go and work in another country, and with Covid-restrictions we just can't be sure how frequently we'll get to see one another in the near future ... Our dinner at the Oyster & Wine Bar gave us the perfect moment of quality time to enjoy with one another, in a gorgeous setting with amazing views. Thank you, Team of the Oyster & Wine Bar, Chef Oscar and Director Erwin Sikkenga!More

We went for my wife's birthday dinner and were not pleased on all accounts: Postives: - top Service, friendly waiters.. Can't fault them - Oysters and seafood top notch, my wife loved it - acknowledged complaints with discount which is honorable Negatives - Price level...is absurd especially on the non seafood items... White wine bottles start at 800 hkd next best thing a few 1000 hkd up per bottle. - I ordered a "800 hkd" dry aged us steak. The steak was as thick as my ringfinger, very tough and though perfectly medium cooked a miserable quality on all accounts ( I eat steak 2 to 3 times a week) - rather than 800 hkd this was on par with a 100hkd hk streetfood stall snack. Note that no one ever asked me how I want it cooked so they just did it medium. Massively disappointed as I don't really admire seafood and was looking for an alternative -I preorderd a birthday cake for my wife in email format. It arrived with another women's name on the cake . She wasn't pleased... Overall I think we would come for the brunch again to experience the seafood... Possibly.. , besides largely overrated and quite frankly almost an insult when I think about the super small super thin tough to the bite 800 hkd steak.More

I have been to a number of first class hotels and restaurants in Asian. The food and services in Sheraton oyster wine bay is excellent. The verandah in peninsular hotel is great but Sheraton is even better. It is the must go in town. Great...value for money. Perfect experience. Highly recommended. The staff is really helpful esp mr Thomas shum. Should you visit hk, spare one afternoon and enjoy the meals. 一流水準,絕對是香港首屈一指歺廳,員工非常有禮,專業。食物水準超過半島,四季酒店。人生必須去一次。支持More

My husband celebrates my birthday with me in Oyster and wine bar of Sheraton. We are not big fans of fine dining nor seafood, but we do have a lovely moment in the restaurant. We ordered 2 set dinner with 4 courses along with the...wine pairing. 4 selected oysters was choose by the chef, follow with crab cake and a choice of beef or fish for the main course. The service here was impeccable. We had a fantastic experience and I enjoy the ambiance here a lot because the staff here are all so talkative and funny even they are seems to be very lack of staffs. At least i can feel that they are trying so hard to entertain us. Even they are in rush, they are very calm and gentle every time they approach our table. Next time, i will try to come with friends for gathering. Lovely place to be...More

My husband and I visited Oyster and wine bar. One of our favorite seafood restaurant in Kowloon side with lovely harbor view. We ordered a dozen oysters to start, follow with the crab cake. The staff here was so thoughtful to split it into two...half portion for us. Then we had the sea urchin pasta as second course and their daily special French blue lobster as the main dishes. We are happy with every single dish and the wine they recommend. The staff here is so warm welcome and friendly as always. In the end, we had the strawberry napoleon as dessert. The napoleon here is quite different than what we have in the other place but it was very presentable and deliciousMore

Absolutely best oysters in town and friendly staffs Celebrate my parents' anniversary and went to this Oyster and wine bar for dinner. Once we settle down, a warm welcome snack and bakery were served right away. The chef behind the oyster counter was friendly and...very detail to explain what is the oyster varieties and their taste. There were about 15 kinds of oyster available and they do open a sample as a show case so that I can choose whatever i like. Wine server and all the other staff were all very friendly and professional. The staffs here is full of happiness and always carry a smile. Amazing restaurant that definitely I will returnMore

Never let me down every time I visit Oyster Bar. Best Oyster in town! Very impressed with the wine recommendation from Roger Lai, the Head Sommilier plus his sense of humor. The staffs are always willing to recommend the daily special prepared by the Chef....I must say they probably have a professional management team. Fantastic service which I highly recommend!More

Hi- there are two parts of the restaurant. One that is more like a bar that serves oysters and champagne (or wine) and the other part is a full restaurant menu. The views for both the bar and restaurant are great. Hope this... More
