Born in Hong Kong, eat there for the first 18 years of my life. Wandering around the world and settle in the US for the past 37 years. Visited Hong Kong every two years. This is the place I always go back to. Nothing changed....More

As a tourist, me and my family stood out a bit at such an authentic place. It is a small, popular and harshly lit restaurant and the turn around is instant! The food was nice, the noodles being mild in flavour but the true hero...More

Well worth the relatively short dinner queue (we were quite early!) and lack of other ‘gweilo’. The food was easy to order from the English menu descriptions, and it arrived very promptly; fresh and steaming. Tasted great, and fed a family of five for Aus$40...More

Good street food. All the dishes come in soup or dry option. I had the dumplings and wonton noodle soups- both were good. They have a menu in English, although the atmosphere is very local. Worth it only if you are in the neighborhood!

Brilliant place to go with someone who knows what they are ordering. When we went, very busy but quick turnaround for a table. Noodles with king prawn wonton a definite winner.

The watons were filled with succulent and fresh prawns. Noodles tend towards the harder and more chewy side- but was fine for my taste. Beef brisket and tendons noodles were great as well - briskets were soft and tender, tendons were cooked well. Worth a...More

Went there because of the good reviews for wonton noodles. Wontons were quite good and prawns we're crunchy, however the noodles was just too hard and thin for my liking. Soup didn't taste special either, just like any other wonton noodle place. Also tried the...More

Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you
will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong

Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma
Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on
their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area
makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in
time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the
