I stumbled upon this place by chance as it was just across from my hotel. Congee and liver dish were impressively tasty, though the price was very steep.

If you love Congee or even want to try it. Then do visit the place. Old people serving, cooking and maintaining the place. Authentic food and excellent taste. I had Chicken Congee which was out of the world!

The congee was watery, the Chinese fried churros(油炸鬼) was stone hard. The restaurant had an oily smell. The only good thing was the staffs were so friendly.

We stayed at Novotel Nathan Hotel which is just opposite this restaurant. Went for porridge and dry noodles for supper for few days. There were local customers in this restaurant as well. Dry noodles with dumpling is our favourite. Menu is extensive and written only...More

Simple local porridge and noodle but perfectly done at this traditional eatery near HK Jordan MTR station. I had the beef brisket noodles and beef with fish porridge, and both were awesome. 虽然店铺装饰得很简单,服务与粥面却很完美!我尝试了原汁牛腩捞面和鲜牛肉鱼片粥,两样都很好吃.

We got the lean pork and preserved egg congee and it was very delicious. We also got the wonton noodles which was very good. I feel like it’s a very authentic HK place to eat at. Would recommend.

Nice quick satisfying meal after walking temple street markets with kids. 1950s diner feel with friendly service but don't expect any English spoken.

Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you
will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong

Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on
their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area
makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in

That should be "Hotel Novotel Hong Kong Nathan Road Kowloon", just across the street. Hotel Rainbow is just around the corner.
