A humble and quite affordable homely congee that will satisfy, the pork with preserved egg added a nice hearty supplement - they have a huge selection of congees so there is something for everyone... It is definitely different from the traditional bowl of congee but...More

An old establishment favoured by many old returning guests! Their fish sliced congee, pi-Tan with lean pork is delicious. The wonton noodles and Choi sum with oyster sauce is cooked well! The deep fried fritters is a must try with congee. Staff is friendlier today...More

Silky smooth porridge with fresh ingredients. Me and my wife enjoyed it so much we had it every night for supper. Pork balls with century egg is highly recommended and don't forget to add your 'you tiao' in it. This will be one restaurant we...More

The congee texture if not what I expected. Doesn’t seems like a traditional Cantonese style of congee (you can see the 3rd photo). Most tourist dining in when we were there. There’s even menu in Thai sticks on the wall. One of the female staff...More

We ordered the scallop congee and the texture was very smooth and flavorful. We ordered Chinese cullers and a plate of fish skin. The latter turned out to be raw which was unusual for us. Good place for a bowl of congee.

Well, it's a local eatery. So I didn't expect much before going. What I wanted was a bowl of good wonton noodle. The place was crowded with locals and tourists. Upon entering, I smelled something like kerosene. The smell didn't go away the whole time...More

We visited second time after 2 years ago. The porridge still remain good taste. Nicely cooked, smooth and frangrant. Best recommended is fish porridge and pork intestine porridge.

The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you
will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong

their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area
makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in

That should be "Hotel Novotel Hong Kong Nathan Road Kowloon", just across the street. Hotel Rainbow is just around the corner.
