Great place for takeaway sushi. Don't even try to line up to sit. You will never get in. Just call in your order and go pick up. The salmon gunkan is their signature dish. Make sure to order 4 pieces. My order their usually runs about $120 to $150 HKD. A bit pricey but worth it and great to a... More

We have been to quite a few Sushi restaurants around the world and this is one of the best. Not cheap but not the most expensive. Visit as we did, off peak time, and you will be shown a table at once and are served quickly and with fresh food. We will come back.

I've eaten at two Sen-Ryo branches so far. The one branch I keep going to and really like is in the Kowloon Hotel basement. This one is super classy, spacious and I love the sake/whiskey bar although no one seems to ever sit there. I recommend the 4 glass sake sampler. Two of them really impressed me and two were... We sat at the sushi bar. We ordered several kinds of sushi, shashimi hand rolls, grilled wahyu beef. Shashimi salad was superb. All were very fresh and tasty. Service... More

The décor and people are quite ok. Just what you would expect from this price ranged restaurant. The food though was not of the quality what I would expect. The most disturbing was the amount of rice in a role. Figure of speech I had to search for the fish in the sushi. It came across like they wanted to... More

If you don't know what tuna you're ordering the chef will try to cheat you and give you $5 tuna and pretend it's the $10 tuna for only 1 piece! I don't mind paying for expensive tuna but they were charging us $80 usd for $40 tuna. ($80 USD for 8 pieces of chap tuna! It's good trick! -smart con-management... More

It's a no brainer if u want quality sushi - but mind you the queue in Ifc tend to be long . My favourite would be calling the restaurant 20 mins in advance , order my sushi and then head out to eat in the terrance of Ifc for lunch . Senryo never fail and their service is always too... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
