If your craving for a good feed of the old fish and chips head over on the ferry to the Hong Kong island side and there on the wharf you will find white beards fish n chips, alright they might not be as good as...your getting at home but all the same they are good and you can sit down on the wharf or just outside.More
Great Fish and chips on the bank of Victoria Harbor ! Recommend to eat it outside by the harbor the vibe is so good.
For those missing a good serving of fish and chips, make your way to the White Bread Fish N Chips shop on the ground floor concourse area of the Star Ferry Pier in Central. Opening hours area 11am to 10pm daily. This is a traditional...take-away shop with fish and chips prepared to order. They use ling cod fillets (HK$77) served with chips. You simply choose which seasoning and tartar sauce you want. Stopped by here recently for lunch recently choosing Red Hot Chili seasoning and found this to be a well-fried, pretty good order of fish and chips, ready in about 6-7 minutes. Fillet was fresh and and tasted good, hot seasoning gave it a bit more kick and flavour. Chips were good enough. They offer up a small selection of side orders and drinks. There is a 711 right across from White Bread Fish N Chips if you want something different to drink. There are a couple standing table spots if you want to eat here. Otherwise, be ready for take away. Orders are served in take-away friendly boxes so you can make way to the nearby Central Harbour Front Promenade if you want to have your fish and chips on the sea.More
It seems odd to eat fish and chips in Hong Kong but we needed a snack before boarding the harbour cruise. We enjoyed the calamari.
We have been eating here for 4 years every time we revisit HK. This year we were looking forward to our signature fish and chips from white beard but were left deflated. I can understand the price increase from HK66 to HK77 dollars but the...portion sizes have shrunk. There use to be a large piece of fish and big cut chips. This time we got a large fish finger size piece of fish and small McCaan oven size chips. Tasty but disappointed. Will not be revisiting. SorryMore
We grabbed some fish and chips before heading across the bay. I wasn’t keen but my partner was so we shared a lemon pepper version. A little greasy but very tasty. Made to order so guaranteed to be hot.
Had a quick serve of their signature chips with cheese and bacon bits. OMG I was in heaven. Will be back for that again soon. Might try the fish as well as it looks great and is cooked fresh.
After work, I go to ferry terminal , go to t s t.i saw this store and many people wait sth outside! O m g !!! It’s fish n chip s!!!! I love their pepper n lemon fish n chips !!! It’s juice and delicious!!!🥳🥳🥳
Soggy ugh, what a let down. We were around the pier and went there for the convenience but I was disappointed. The best fish and chips on the island is still Hooked on Caine Rd.
Stunning seafood takeaway on Pier 7, lower level. Downside is few tables and chairs but upside, fish is fresh and tasty. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
Located on the ground floor of the star ferry Hong Kong side pier. Good honest fish and chips. Great garlic butter prawns. Good for a quick meal before getting on the ferry.
We where spending the day around the harbour front area of HongKong island when we saw the sign Fish and Chips, So nice day feeling hungry lunch time why not. We ordered the cod and chips with lemon and tarta sauce that came in a...box so you can easily take it away to find a nice spot to sit down and tuck in, the fish was a little creasy but cooked perfect very tasty so together with the chips was a lovey enjoyable meal.More
Freshly cooked fish&chips at the Star Ferry pier. Price was reasonable 68rmb for the original F&C. I ate here every lunchtime that I was in HK. Cooked perfectly and tasted exactly the same as the fish and chips I ate growing up. The plastic knives...and forks they give are horrible, but overall great stuff!More
I found myself tired and hungry at the pier and didn't really want to walk and find something else so I took a chance on this place. It doesn't look like much but my fish was cooked fresh (right in front of me) and tasted...great. I had a beer, too and while my meal was slightly over-priced so is everything in HK and since it was tasty I was happy to have it. Enjoy!More
