自從可以脫下口罩後，大家的笑容都多了，話題更是談天說地，聊過不停，也許Afternoon Tea就最適合同朋友聊天傾近況的好時光。 更何況好多下午茶都會同大品牌合作，而今次中環文華東方酒店的 Cafe Causette 就聯乘了有過百年歷史 Van Cleef & Arpels，推出了充滿春天氣的 Afternoon Tea，但供應期只到3月31日，兩位享用$828，而一位是$428 Sandwiches 其實餅廚確實大膽，一口氣送上四款三文治，當然是有足夠的自信，以及不會令客人生厭。 Prawn Cocktail, Mango, Lettuce 先是大蝦配以芒果及生菜，口感清新爽朗，入口有芒果的香甜，不錯。 Egg Salad, Mayonnaise, Cilantro, Cucumber 再來是雞蛋沙律，混和了蛋黃醬、荽茜及青瓜，同樣是甜美可口。 Poached Salmon, Sour Cream, Lemon, Dill 之後是水煮三文魚加入酸奶油、檸檬及茴香，魚肉是預期中的軟綿，以酸奶油平衡了魚油的感覺，加上檸檬及小茴香，好味。 Prime Rib Eye, Cabbage Salad, Horseradish, Whole Grain Bread 係全穀麵包內有肉眼、捲心菜沙律以及帶辛香的辣根，平衡度拿捏得好好，可說是四款中最喜歡的一種。 Savoury Coronation Chicken...Vol-au-vent 另上的 Coronation Chicken Vol-au-vent 小巧細緻，一口一件，餡料雞肉嫩滑，外層酥皮焗至香口，仍保持亮麗的色澤，火喉完美。 Dessert Rene Magritte "The Son of Man" 1964 Baked Apple and Charcoal Tart 若是說到最可愛的，必定是像戴了黑帽子的“The Son of Man”，充滿了玩味的甜點，內裡是炸蘋果配搭炭火餡餅，好睇又美味。 Tahitian Vanilla, Apricot Petit Gâteaux 彷彿放上了一片綠葉，大溪地雲呢拿洋溢著馥郁的氣味，與杏脯肉的結合更啱心意。 Japanese Cherry Blossom Mousse, Cherries and Vanilla Shortbread 以盛放的花朶，用日本櫻花慕絲，帶出春日的色彩，正好與Van Cleef & Arpels 的主調對襯，而置底的香草酥餅，令口感更具層次。 1963 Mandarin Cheesecake 具60年歷史的芝士蛋糕，口感細膩，芝士味濃郁，配以一杯幽香的 Taste of Legend，真是一種享受。 Textures of Dark and White Chocolate 香甜幼滑，喜歡朱古力的朋友，相信絕不會錯過吧？ Scones Plain Scone Raisin Scone 已包含了原味及提子乾兩種口味。 配以餐廳名物，Homemade Rose Petal Jam 以及 Clotted Cream，分別塗上兩種口味，鬆餅質地酥化鬆軟，就算好飽，都忍不住掃光了。 客人可以選擇 Arabica Coffee 或茶，自己當然點了餐廳名物 Taste of Legend，淡淡的香氣，入口後帶有餘韻，配襯下午茶恰如其分。 客人更可另加 $380，便能進一步享受Royal Cristal Caviar (10g) ，又或是以$180來一杯Moët & Chandon Vintage Champagne，喜歡Moët & Chandon Vintage Rosé Champagne，亦只不過另加 $220。More

Every time we come to Cafe Causette , lovely dessert must be one of our expectations. And they never disappoint us. Recently we have been Cafe Causette almost every two weeks and have tired many types of their desserts. Some are super impressive, eg. Strawberry...and kumquat trifle (smooth , creamy and decorated with very fresh strawberry paste ) and double chocolate mousse cake (chocolate is very smooth, full of flavour but not too sweet), it’s not easy to make and that’s why their dessert is so famous in HK. Actually, we usually go out at noon, so their lunch set is our best choices as well, and never let us down. Their lunch set change almost every couples of weeks or every month. And therefore we come back very often since we would like to try their new cuisine , we feel their chef always creates delicious , good quality of creative food and always surprise us. Besides, their service are also impressive, unforgettable and warmest , we must appreciate assistant manager , Ms. Janice Au, she and her colleagues provide very professional and nice service to us every time. MOHKG trains a very professional team to provide the best service and food, and their restaurants are always our best choice. If someone is finding a restaurant with good environment , and provides fantastic dessert and food , and also five stars wonderful services. As a regular visitor to Cafe Causette I always feel the cafe is underrated. There is a wide selection of food from Hong Kong Asian to Western with stable quality. Menu is also updated from time to time and I think anyone can pick something...they like there. Staff are professional - all are cheerful, patient and at the same time acting swiftly even during busy hours. In particular, I would like to extend my thanks to Calvin Lau who served us with heart, from menu recommendation and follow up, the services are impressive. They all are the hotel's valuable assets. The cafe also has a nice vibe, suitable for both casual or more formal lunch/dinner gathering.More

The food from starter to dessert were outstanding and the atmosphere is suitable for celebrating special occasions as well as normal dining occasions with family and friends. A cosy restaurant in the heart of Central. There is a reasonable distance between table to table. Great place to dine at during weekend dinner time for those who want quiet conversation with friends (i know it's very busy on weekdays, but it's a totally...different story during weekend). I’d dinner with a friend at Cafe Causette on the day of Chung Yeung Festival. We both took the dinner menu which included an appetiser, a main course, a dessert and a coffee/tea. At HK$568 per person, it’s very good value for money. Lobster bisque...and rib eye steak with fries were delicious. They aren’t complicated or fancy dishes but were done correctly. The fries were particularly good. A piece of decadently rich chocolat cake ended my meal on a high note. The service was spot on. I’ll return.More

The cafe caussette restaurant in Mandarin oriental hotel has splendid food and high quality service, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the food. However, I will like to specify 2 of the staffs that I thought were very kind to us and...I think were the hardest workers. One of the staffs is one who always greets us named Janice Au. She is very kind and she isn’t rude or impatient. The other one is the manager of Cafe caussette named Vicky Chan. She is also a very kind lady and she more greets us like friends than strangers and customers. However she is really busy, she always greets us or say hello whenever she can. Those 2 staffs are the ones who really caught my eye and also are the ones who are kind to us and they mean it. Talking about food, all the food is great and delicious. The BBQ Chicken Wings are delicious however, I wish that they can either size them up a little (not too much) or add a bit more chicken wings. One of my favourites was the pesto sauce they make. It is really and literally the best quality and tasting pesto sauce I have ever eaten. All the A la Carte are really tasty too however, every time we go there, we always order the Japanese Crab Meat Fried rice. It is like, the best crab rice I have ever eaten together with soy sauce. For spicy lovers, you should also add chili oil together with soy sauce. It’s delightful. However, I am heartbroken to hear that the crab meat fried rice we always have is now off the menu. It used to be our all time favourite but now, it’s gone. I am not sure whether it’s permanently deleted or if it’s temporarily but either way, I want the crab meat fried rice to be back. Other than that, all the food is great. I hope every time, I can have an enjoyable meal.More

The food there is really delicious 👍🏻👍🏻 I love the chili oil there, it’s really delicious and special than other chili oil, also the pesto pasta taste the best together with the bread 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 And the staffs there are really nice and the service there...are really good, and two staffs, Vicky Chan and Janice Au are really the best staff in mandarin oriental.More
