The food is excellent! We had a mixed starter which is good for 4 people. We then had different sizzling plates and tajines. Everything was delicious! :-) very odd though was that a beer costs the same (around 90 HGK dollars) as the sizzling plate...

Actually very good food. First time I enjoyed hummus and chicken and the second time a vegetarian mezze platter. offerings of wine in glasses are decent, however value for money is not. Too expensive for the portion size. Wondering why only a couple people are at the restaurant on a busy Thursday evening? Think of they review and balance the... More

We stumbled upon this place on our first weekend after moving to HK 2 years ago and, mainly due to Amer's welcome and attentive service (and great food of course), its been a regular since when we have visitors. Good vibe too, including belly dancing on one occasion we were there.

We had a great family reunion here and discovered that Monday to Thursday weeknights before 7 pm are a very good time to arrive indeed. There are good dinner specials and Happy Hour drinks to boot! The two course meal options were a very good idea as we could sample all the entrees. My favourite starters were the falafels. Spicy... More

We went there after we went to couple bars around those area. We found it while we were walking to get a cab home.. Price for the shisha is normal rate in HK, but the quality is amazing. We talked to the manager he was so nice and very friendly.

Good sheesha with lovely flavours. You should try the coconut beer from Belgium called Mongozo. Please try their small hot plate with olive oil, Prawns and garlic served on a hot plate with some lime and tomato.

We were recommend this place on our first night in Hong Kong. We had called in a bar for a drink on our way to find a restaurant for our evening meal. After we had drinks the landlord recommended the Nile. We were very happy with the amazing service and the whole chicken dish. The service is the best I... More

Went there with a bunch of friends on Saturday night. Food was average. Mezzes were bland and not as flavourful as a few other Middle Eastern restaurants. Main course was all about tajines (so so) and grilled meats which were dry and came to the table luke warm. Only ONE desert option on the menu. Not a great wine list... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
