Takes a while to find but worth the hassle to get into this dark bar cave. Service is great with good barmen who are excellent cocktail shakers. Snack menu good with some great tasting food. Lively bar and a good place for date or just...More

Really a must do bar. Excellent cocktails by incredibly well trained Barmen (sorry mixologists), being supported by a fully stocked bar, with a wonderful selection of bottles from around the world. Combined with a variety of homemade bitters, you will receive perfectly balanced cocktails and...More

I normally never give bad reviews... But this time I’ll make an exception. If you’re an expat, and in particular with white skin, never go to Stockton when their new ‘manager’ is there. For the first time, despite several previous visits with ‘white’ friends, when...More

Yes, the bar was tucked away in an alley and up the stairs but that was the charm of the place. We went early and had reservations for cocktails. Stockton was a small place so would highly recommend reservations. The eclectic decor was just charming...More

Nice vibe, a bit dark but cool scene, go when they have a live band playing, a nice way to spend an evening on a weekday

Met my nephew, who works in Hong Kong, on the corner of Wyndham St where he had been struggling for 15 minutes to find the entrance. When they say down a dark alley, and then via the light, they are not joking. Up a short...More

When we arrived at Stockton, we were told by the hostess that someone from our party was not dressed according to their standard (although he was dressed smartly, wearing a button shirt and chino shorts). She then went on to tell us that he should...More

Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies
with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The
area widely known as Central is the major financial
hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up
to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open
late into the night and there just happens to be a
street party every weekend. Although everything seems
to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of

Description
Stockton is a restaurant and bar tucked away right in the heart of Central. At Stockton, we have recreated the halcyon days of the 1890s London, when life moved at a slower pace and the fortunate lived life to a remarkably high standard of living. Stockton is wood paneled and full of classic furniture, art, antiques and historical artifacts sourced from markets in Paris. Stockton is an escape from the humdrum of Lan Kwai Fong and Central. Conversation is highly valued and privacy guaranteed. Stockton is open to all and everyone and is not a private members venue. Stockton accepts reservations for both dinner and libations. Stockton has an unusual range of cocktails that are a historical journey back to the origin of the three core spirits that were the mainstay of the day. In 1800s, rum was arriving on trade clippers from the Caribbean, whisky was being produced in Scotland and Ireland and gin production had moved from Holland to England in full force. Our cocktails are a re-interpretation of libatons that were featured at this time with one that even dates back to 1475, the Athole Brose. The bar team is made up by the creators and talented mixologists at Maximal Concepts that won the Tatler's Best Cocktail award in Hong Kong, 2013 at Blue Butcher. To make your experience more unique, we barrel age and leather age our own spirits at Stockton. Stockton also has a collection of over 150 whiskies from Scotland, Ireland, America and Japan. Our knowledgeable barmen offer guests to go on a journey through regions and ages, such as the five regions of Scotland, Highlands, Islay, Cambeltown, Lowlands and Speyside.
