- very small and noisy place not so good for chat - staff not wearing mask when serving the food - they charged us extra money on food we want to waived it but the staff said was our fault as we previously asked did...they take our order and he said the food was on the way. But end up he thought we ordered two and it doesn't make sense because only one serve of the food came. - staffs upsell too much and ironically asked us to order all the food from the menu which gave us lots of pressuresMore
Just had a quick stop for a drink in this place. It was okay. I didn't feel the vibe of the place that much.

This small Italian wine bar / restaurant is located in Graham Street, Central. The entrance is rather non-descript, and if not for the canopy somehow we might miss it. And walking down several steps and opening the door, it leads to a small yet comfortable...space. There is two large communal tables in the middle, and on the side is a bar featuring lots of spirits and wines, with the open kitchen on the other end. Seated at the end of the communal table closest to the kitchen, the overall ambience gives a cozy and friendly atmosphere, reminiscent of a family eatery where you can find relaxation and be free. With no dinner service due to social distancing, we came for lunch and picked the lunch menu which offered a starter, a main course and a dessert ($220 each). But to start I also had a Ver-Gin Mojito ($80), which is refreshing and nice. Both of us opted for Balsamic and Rosemary Glazed Lamb Rib as our starter. The lamb rib has been grilled nicely, with a crisp skin and tender meat, infused with the signature rosemary aromas. The balsamic vinegar provided a nice acidity to match wonderfully with the fat of the lamb, as well as giving a nice savory character to making the lamb even more tasty. The salad vegetable is a good supplement as well. For the main, I have chosen the Pappardelle, featuring Wild Boar Ragu, Kale and Pecorino. The very flat and broad pasta is homemade and having a nice bite, and is a great match with the pulled wild boar meat, which is good in taste and not 'rubbery' on texture. The kale is a nice addition giving some greens to complement, and the generous shavings of pecorino cheese not only gives a nice flavor to the dish, but also helps to thicken the sauce to make it sticking to the pasta. A wonderful pappardelle. My wife had picked the Tagliatelle, with Spanner Crab and N'duja. Again the pasta is homemade and seeing how she enjoyed it I can imagine it also tastes good. The amount of spanner crab meat is pretty generous, and with the special n'duja spicy pork sauce prompted my urge to try that out next time. For dessert I had Pistachio Gelato, while my wide had Lemon and Rosemary Sorbet. The gelato is rather mediocre comparatively, not bad, but got nothing memorable. It seems the sorbet is better in taste however. Service is quite nice, with the staff attentive and friendly. The bill was $572 which is reasonable in my opinion. If you want to enjoy some nice homemade pasta, and also sample some Italian wines the restaurant source directly from the producers, this is a good place to consider.More
Came here for a 8pm reservation. We were given a choice of seating on stools on the bar by the bar or directly in from of the open kitchen. Restuarant was full. We decided on the stools by the bar. Italian food. We ordered a...selection of dishes including the ribs, pasta, fish, and Brussels sprouts. The ribs were delicious. Very seasoned and good cook. Clearly the chef here has very good skills. We wanted to order the umami spaghetti, but it was sold out so we had the ragu pasta. Was very good. We had a good time here. The food was excellent. Price wise, not cheap. About hkd1000 for 2 of us, only had one beer and no wine. Overall, very good Italian restuarantMore
121BC located in a basement on Hollywood Street - giving an interesting wine-cellar vibe. The antipasto: Chicken Liver Pate and Lamb Ribs were unbelievably delicious. The special of the day was pasta with sea urchin and salmon...roe; unfortunately, it was just so-so. If you are a fan of anchovy and beef, remember to order the Australian Wagyu Flat Iron. The anchovy butter definitely added another layer onto the dish!More
We went there and we originally had 6 people but later 2 cannot come. They still gave is the table in a private room. The atmorpshere was a bit strange as you did not see but boom and bust outside. Despte we kept opening the...door of the room, the servers kept closing the door till we told them not to. The food was fine but offered no surprise.More
This restaurant was closed for a full eight months following its closure in Peel Street but I'm glad to say it has picked up where it left off and is, if anything, better than ever. As usual, we had two starters and one main, all...shared, and enjoyed them all. The wine, though pricey, was quite delicious. The staff were responsive, finding time for a friendly word even though they were very busy on a Saturday night. My only niggle was that two pieces of bread for two people seemed a bit mean! Booking definitely recommended at weekends.More
Hi Patin, Thank you for visiting 121BC again. It took us a while but we are finally back as you well said :) We are glad you enjoyed the meal and the new place. Regarding the bread as its home-made we normally give one piece...More
Great service from all the staff - easily accommodated our group which had grown from a booking for 5 to a total of nine. A very extensive list of Italian wines but following a discussion about general likes and dislikes the suggestions from the knowledgeable...and helpful host were spot on. We were there for a week where the menu focused on Sardinia - a real bonus. Wild boar ragu - delicious. And hard to go past a Gin and Tonic Sorbet for dessert.More
Small with a great ambience, excellent vibe and atheistic Italian food. Wines are ok and overall a good experience!
In the happening Peel street in Sheung Wan, the restaurant is quite small but offers a very tasty and fresh selection of Italian food in an intimate setting. The menu is short and as the night passes, some of the dishes run out, a good...sign that proves all is freshly cooked. Had a selection of starters and main. The wine list is good. Prices are overall in in line with the quality of the food - affordable but on the higher end.More
A great little nook in Peel Street run by people passionate about their culinary traditions and craft. Authentic Italian cuisine prepared with love and paired to a great wine list curated by an exceptional sommelier. Visit this place for authentic Italian cuisine, return with joy...again and again for its humble, heart-warming love of what it does and its ability to do it very, very well.More
After walking in and asking if we could sit at the table versus the window bar the manager literally shooed away the waitress dealing with our request as if our request was a bother and we were being difficult. Price: on the expensive side /...dish size small. Food: We both felt the burrata starter dish at a cost of 150 hkd did not work with the combination. Spanish anchovies were about 100 hkd for 4 small fillets. The octopus tempura was really not good. (Lamb ribs were excellent.) Service was mixed. On the plus side, a great location, a cozy setting ( if not too full) The one waiter ( an Asian gentleman ) was excellent The wine menu was good Overall we won’t be going back as we feel we could find better elsewhere.More
I enjoyed a late dinner at 121BC with a few friends and found it to be outstanding. A short walk from the bars in Lan Kwai Fong and we found this cozy little gem with seating at the window, bar or large main shared table....There is also a private dining area for groups. The food was amazing. Great ingredients were the stars of a well thought out menu. Loved the lamb ribs and cheese board. The wines were lovely thanks to the great sommelier. Definitely going again.More
