Extremely overrated! The steamed vegetables was soggy lettuce! The Turnip cake was not very tasty at all! Yes it’s cheap! But being from the UK and travelling and experiencing food all over Asia! This meal was extremely average, poor quality. Service was not nice, they...More

This is a basic fast Food abbreviated style of Tim Ho wan. There is always a queue and seating is tight and you’ll end up in Long tables with strangers to your left right and front. Menu is safe with the classics, tea is the...More

Firstly the pork buns are great!!!! If you go here and eat pork, you must try them. The rest was nice and very good value for money but I do prefer Din Tai Fung still although it would be a bit more expensive. You certainly...More

Place was not easy to locate in the vast IFC building. It's located two levels below street level. Had to ask a couple of times for directions. You'll know it's the place when you see a line formed outside the restaurant. Don't worry the line...More

Having heard about this place we were prepared for the 40 minute wait standing in line, and that was at 2pm. Really liked the idea of a menu that you ticked off your choices as you waited, then handed that order to the waitresses as...More

Tim Ho Wan is an institution, you may get the initial feeling that is has gone commercial, but it will pass when you face waiting staff that barely speaks English and is not what one would describe as genuinely accomodating. Remember you came for the...More

Don't expect a fancy ambiance. Go for the food! It's amazing! You'll probably encounter a long line before being able to have a table, but don't get discouraged. The line moves fast. I went 2x and didn't wait for more than 25 min

Cash is always preferred. In general, it's hard to find shops (especially small ones) that take credit/debit/charge card. I could only use my bank card in a supermarket like ParkNShop or at an ATM. Some shops & restaurants... More
