Voted 'best people watching spot' in Hong Kong, our iconic venue on the corner of Staunton Street is the perfect place to have healthy lunches in the daytime, and to relax and enjoy bar snacks and drinks in the evening. The space holds an oval centre-piece bar decorated with large pendant lamps which are set against a backdrop of glowing back-lit “wine-shelves”. My friend recommended this place, $98 for set
Lunch was really value for money! The outdoor balcony was the great spot for to catch up with friend. Will definitely come back soon and highly recommended to everyone !!
Great location! Good options on Beers, wines and cocktails, but the thing that makes this such a good place to visit again are the staffs. All of the people are incredibly friendly and helpful. We’ve been coming back, been a decade now. Sometimes we go...up to the balcony upstairs for a chill and cool atmosphere and sometimes downstairs at the bar just to have fun.
But now days with the COVID-19 the seats are generally full so we just takeaway food and drinks and it’s buy 1 get 1 on food not sure how long will they do this... it’s a good deal for me xP
This place is generally a hangout spot for me and my friends.More
Grab their gr8 deal 2 for 1 deal for takeaway. I think it’s the best deal I have ever seen. The food was great, I ordered steak pie and chicken cordon. Very fulfilling and tasty. Hey folks don’t miss it

I recently visited this iconic and long standing pub in Soho for a working lunch. Their lunch set menu impressed me the most as it was not only very affordable but also provided me with a variety options including vegan friendly. We sat on the...outdoor balcony which made the experience even more pleasant for a mid autumn quick get away from the office. I had visited this pub in the past over the weekends and always liked how laid back and easy to be place it was. Specially for a Sunday afternoon. Speaking of Sunday afternoons, I heard they offer free flow drinks option for any Sunday meal purchases. Has anybody tried that? I am keen to go back and check it out.More

This is a very popular, lively bar in the centre of Soho. Although I have stopped here for drinks many times, I’ve not thought of eating here before. However, they are currently offering a very reasonable set lunch deal which caught our eye recently.
It’s...cheap and cheerful dining. I didn't have particularly high expectations of the food but we were pleasantly surprised and the food was pretty good.
For $98, you chose a salad or soup entrée and a main and coffee or tea. I really liked that there were a lot of choices. Often set lunches are very limited, but not here. There were 6 options which included grilled salmon, vegan bowl, prawn linguine or Australian sirloin steak. The burger or chicken tikka masala was a little bit extra ($128).
Most of us had the salmon or pasta. The salmon was not large but was nicely cooked and was simply served with mashed potatoes and veg. The prawn linguine had four medium sized prawns and again it was not a large dish but it had a nice chilli flavour and I enjoyed it. We ordered some extra chips for the table too and no one left hungry.
The only disappointment was the coffee which I didn't finish and i noticed at least one other person didn't finish theirs either.
Overall, it was a good lunch, service was friendly and it was great value.
GETTING THERE: Staunton's is right in the middle of Soho. The easiest way to get there is to use the Mid-Levels escalator because it takes you right to the front door of the bar. Coming from Central, just keep an eye out for the blue awnings on your right.More

We had a great time with a friend here recently and just before the aborted full lockdown of all lunch restaurants in Hong Kong on 29 July ( which incidentally lasted for a full 48 hours). The Happy Hour wines were splendid and there was...an impressive selection of both Old and New World wines from among which to choose. Both the chorizo and chicken tikka pizzas were superb - thin-crusted, crunchy and piquant. The owner was also friendly and personable when he stopped by for a chat.More

When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of
quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
