Indian food must be reminiscent of curry, but besides curry, there are many unfamiliar styles. Tonight, we went to a rather noble Indian restaurant in Central. Chicken 65$128. Although it is fried chicken, it does not have a thick crispy paste. The chicken has bones and is just meat. It is spicy and full of flavor. It is a very delicious fried chicken. 👍👍👍👍👍 Raj Kachori $138, crispy on the outside, wrapped in vegetable diced, sweet and sour, with a bit of spiciness, beautiful and delicious. 👍👍👍👍👍 Malabar Fish Curry $238, a curry with a rich coconut flavor, mixed with fried squid, which brings out the full flavor of the fish. Butter Naan is $42. Since it is made to order, when it is served, the naan is puffed up and placed in the curry, which makes it taste better. Paneer Makhanwala $178, has a strong tomato flavor, sweet and sour taste, and the cheese tastes a bit like meat, making it very suitable for vegetarians. Mango Lassi $95, the mango tastes fragrant, sour and sweet, very appetizing. Lager $78, a brand rarely seen in Hong Kong, very easy to buy. Pistachio Kulfi $108, this Indian dessert is a very new try for me, so it is difficult to describe its taste without a complete understanding of it. 😅😅😅I can only say that it is not too sweet.

This is my second time visit Chutney. Experience the flavors of India at Chutney ,a top-rated Indian restaurant serving authentic Indian food. We opted for lunch menu which was approximately $200-300 pp. quite reasonable for a 3 course menu locating in the heart of central, coming with attentive and helpful services. ◆ Keema Pav A popular Indian street food, featuring spiced lamb meat served with buttery fluffy pav 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐍 ◆ Old Delhi butter chicken $198 ◆ Achari beef short ribs $238 Full of buttery flavour and went well with their signature garlic naan ◆ Garlic naan / butter naan crispy and chewy, inside smothered with garlic and butter spread resulting in a savoury and rich naan. Incredible !

This may be the most high-end Indian cuisine I've ever had in Hong Kong. I could tell it was quite different from the typical Indian restaurants I've been to. 🔅Butter Chicken Set The lunch set includes an appetizer and a main course. I'd personally recommend the butter chicken as the main. Each set comes with 2 huge pieces of naan, so you definitely won't go hungry. For the appetizer, we ordered a vegetarian item, which was like a fried dumpling but with a different sauce on the outside - surprisingly quite good. If you want meat, you can also order the chicken salad. 🔅Rose Lassi The rose lassi is also quite nice - it has a light floral rose flavor, but isn't too sweet. We also ordered a dessert at the end.

My friend who celebrated my birthday last year took me to Chutney to eat new Indian food. ✨The food and dishes are of a high standard and exceed expectations⚡️ Sing happy birthday to me and have instant photos and birthday cards Every employee also wrote birthday wishes🦄It’s really heartwarming Came here for a special date this time and I was not disappointed🩷 The splendid Indian style decoration is full of luxury atmosphere The light is soft and warm, quiet and comfortable 🕌 🦋Every waiter is attentive and courteous I often ask if the dishes taste good. Thank you for your thoughtfulness🫶🏻 Plain papad will be provided as appetizer🌻 Served with the restaurant's own special beetroot sauce, pineapple sauce and mint sauce Personally like the slightly sweet pineapple jam🍍 🛸 I had Raj Kachori last time and it was an unforgettable experience. I really came here today just for it. It looks so cute and the check-in is top notch. Sweet and sour, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. There are cheese, potatoes, chicken, etc. inside which are appetizing and rich in taste🫶🏻 Dear 💕My favorite mustard fried shrimp🍤The meat is chewy and chewy The sauce has a bit of coconut flavor. Butter Chicken is a must-try as the main dish. The spice flavor is outstanding and the slightly crispy Butter Naan is also delicious. I tried the Rajasthan Okra for the new time. I don’t particularly like okra🌟I gave it a try after the store clerk recommended it Really good👍🏻 Spicy and unique taste cumin mustard seeds Paprika and coriander powder Okra absorbs the flavor of the spices Definitely worth a try🩵 Finally, I wanted to have dessert, so I chose Passion Fruit Coconut Mousse Cake. Creamy and slippery✌🏻Good Chutney 📍4th Floor, Ka Chiu Commercial Building, 75-77 Wyndham Street, Central

The restaurant located on Wyndham Street in Central. It is a beautifully decorated Indian cuisine restaurant called Chutney, named after the traditional Indian condiment. This suggests that the restaurant's dishes are known for their rich and flavorful spices. Additionally, the restaurant features two large Tandoori clay ovens, adding an authentic Indian touch to the cooked dishes. For this visit, we ordered two lunch sets, each including an appetizer, main course, beverage, and dessert.

A friend recommended this Indian restaurant to me, saying that if I wanted to try authentic Indian cuisine, I should visit this place. Since I happened to be nearby that day, I decided to give it a try, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was captivated by its impressive interior decor. It felt like stepping into an Indian palace, with its grandeur and opulence, clearly reflecting the thought put into it. Moreover, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They introduced the set lunch options for the day and also served us some appetizers. The appetizers were crispy chips accompanied by three different sauces, each with its own unique flavor. It was a refreshing and appetizing start to the meal. We ordered two set lunches and also added two glasses of the special drink. For the starters, we had Tandoori octopus, which was a large and tender octopus tentacle cooked in a charcoal grill style. It looked like it would be chewy, but to my surprise, the meat was incredibly soft and smooth while maintaining a crispy and flavorful outer layer. It tasted even better when paired with the accompanying sauces. Next, we had the Chicken Tikka Salad as another appetizer. The portion was generous, and the combination of chicken and salad vegetables made for an attractive and colorful presentation. It was a refreshing and appetizing dish to kick off the meal. For the main course, we had the Achari Beef Short Rib. The slow-cooked beef was unbelievably tender, flavorful, and perfectly complemented by either Basmati Rice or butter naan, making it an excellent pairing. We also tried the Old Delhi Butter Chicken as our second main course. The chicken in this dish was as tender as the beef, and the curry flavor was rich and intense. It was a delightful surprise to discover how delicious authentic Indian curry can be. Once again, it was a great combination with Basmati Rice or butter naan. For dessert, we had the Pandan Cake. Made with pandan leaves, it had just the right amount of sweetness and a wonderfully light and fluffy texture. It was love at first bite. To accompany the meal, I ordered a Lassi – Mango, which is a traditional Indian yogurt-based drink. It was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend it. Overall, my experience at the restaurant was filled with pleasant surprises. The ambiance, friendly staff, and most importantly, the authentic and flavorful Indian dishes made it a memorable dining experience.

Last Friday, I made plans with friends to dine at a beloved Indian restaurant in Central. Their lunch set menu was great value for money, and the ambiance was filled with ample natural light, creating a pleasant atmosphere. 🥗 Pan-Seared Chicken Salad: The chicken was tender and juicy, accompanied by fresh vegetables and a flavorful herb yogurt sauce. It was a healthy and appetizing start to the meal. 🦑 Grilled Octopus: The octopus was grilled to a slightly crispy exterior, with a hint of charred aroma at the tail. It had a pleasantly chewy and firm texture, complemented by a corn and mint yogurt sauce. 🍚 Indian Basmati Rice: 🥖 Garlic Naan: The basmati rice had long, plump grains with a soft texture, making it a perfect accompaniment for scooping up the curry. Even rice is good, but I'm really a fan of soft and elastic naan bread, and it's almost a must-order when having Indian cuisine. It paired well with the curry. 🍛 Butter Chicken Curry: 🐟 Coconut Fish Curry: Butter chicken curry is one of the restaurant's signature dishes. The chicken was tender, juicy, and the curry had a smooth and delicate texture. It had a slight tanginess and sweetness, making it incredibly flavorful. The coconut fish curry was also delightful, with tender boneless fish and a pronounced coconut flavor, but yes i love chicken more of the mango was well-balanced with the tanginess of the yogurt. The iced tea was refreshingly pleasant, with a rich tea aroma that rejuvenated and relieved any greasiness. However, when it comes to uniqueness, the mango lassi takes the spotlight.

Taste of India😋 The Raj Kachori was a delightful start to my meal. The crispy shell was filled with a medley of tangy and spicy flavors, including chutneys, yogurt, and chaat masala. The combination of textures and the burst of flavors made this dish a perfect appetizer😍 The Sarson Malai Jheenga, or mustard cream prawns, was a standout dish. The succulent prawns were cooked to perfection and coated in a creamy, aromatic sauce. The hint of mustard added a unique and pleasant taste. It was a rich and indulgent dish that left me craving for more🤩 The Butter Naan was soft, fluffy, and had a delightful buttery flavor. It paired perfectly with the curries and was excellent for soaking up the delicious sauces. The naan was cooked just right, with a slight char on the edges, giving it a lovely smoky taste🥳 The Lamb Chop Pepper Masala was a true highlight of my dining experience. The tender lamb chops were marinated in a flavorful blend of spices and then cooked to perfection. The dish had a rich, aromatic gravy with a perfect balance of heat from the peppers. Each bite was a burst of flavors, and the meat was incredibly tender🥰 The Paneer Makhanwala was a creamy and delightful vegetarian option. The paneer was cooked in a luscious tomato-based gravy with a hint of sweetness. The dish was rich, creamy, and had a velvety texture. It was a great choice for paneer lovers😝 Rose Lassi was a refreshing and cooling drink. Chutney's Iced Tea was a unique twist on a classic drink. The combination of tea, spices, and a hint of sweetness created a refreshing and flavorful beverage🥂 To end my meal on a sweet note, I tried the Pistachio Kulfi. It was a creamy and indulgent frozen dessert with a rich pistachio flavor. The texture was smooth, and the nutty undertones added a delightful crunch. It was a perfect finale to a fantastic meal🍧 Overall, the dishes were prepared with care and attention to detail, resulting in a delightful explosion of flavors. The restaurant provided a warm and welcoming ambiance, and the service was attentive and friendly👍🏻

The interior decoration was really exquisite, and the environment was comfortable, allowing us to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine. We ordered grilled octopus with corn, minced lamb curry with grilled bread, and more. My top recommendation is the Butter Chicken Curry. The chicken was tender and juicy, and when paired with truffle naan bread, I believe it is one of the best dishes you can find in an Indian restaurant! For drinks, I highly recommend the Apple Freshener, a refreshing apple beverage that quenches your thirst and provides a refreshing sensation.

I went to an Indian restaurant in Central yesterday, and as soon as I arrived, I was amazed by the beautiful and luxurious ambiance. The staff was very friendly and provided detailed explanations for each dish, making it feel like I was in a palace. The restaurant's name is "Chutney," which means Indian sauce. They have a variety of signature sauces that you can order. To start, they served us mint mango and beetroot chutney with crispy bread, which was a unique and appetizing appetizer. For the starters, we had a traditional Indian snack that was said to be consumed by emperors in the past. It was made with crispy bread filled with different sauces, crispy textures, and sweet and tangy fruit bits. It was a rich and appetizing experience. We also tried their fried chicken made with a blend of 65 different spices. The aroma was delightful, and the chicken was crispy on the outside and tender inside. It is a must-try dish. Finally, we ordered two main courses and paired them with butter naan. The naan had a chewy and fragrant texture, which added to the overall experience. One of the mains was a tomato sauce and cheese dish. It was my first time trying Indian cheese, and it had a unique taste when combined with the sweet tomato sauce. The other main was a curry fish dish, where the fish was marinated in a roasted spice blend. The fish had a firm texture and a delightful fish flavour. Overall, considering the location, ambiance, and food quality, the bill was also reasonably priced. It has been a long time since I had such a decent Indian restaurant experience in Hong Kong. I highly recommend it.

超好食印度菜😋 今日嚟到中環食印度菜,呢間餐廳一早已Remark要去食!餐廳設計充滿宮廷色彩,坐位闊落,坐得舒服,屬高檔印度菜! I came to Central today to eat Indian food. I had already marked this restaurant to eat there early in the morning! The design of the restaurant is full of palace colors, the seats are wide and comfortable, and it is a high-end Indian cuisine! ▫️Poppadom Thin and crispy snacks with a tangy and spicy taste. They come with three sauces to choose from: mint, mango, and beetroot. Each has its own flavor. Mango is my favorite, so unique! ▫️Sarason Malai Jheenga It’s hard to think it’s just ordinary fried shrimp, and the sauce on it is hard to think it’s just ordinary yellow mustard. Just eat the shrimps and the meat will be tender and smooth, and they won’t turn into shoes even after being fried! Eat away the strong spice flavor, it's different! ▫️Raj Kachori This dish is not common in Hong Kong, but is a common street food in India! The crispy fried noodles are filled with various toppings, including fruit pieces, apples and raisins, with mint and cheese added to taste. It is very crispy and refreshing, very appetizing! ▫️Lagan Ka Gosht ▫️Truffle cheese naan This is definitely a must-eat choice! The red curry is full of fragrance, and the spiciness of the cream is quite delicious! Many Hong Kong friends are surprised by the strong flavor of spices, but the red curry in this restaurant has the right balance of aroma and spiciness. It definitely tastes right! Served with black truffle cheese pancake, it's almost as delicious as red curry! The unique aroma of black truffle, coupled with the spiciness of curry, and the cheese, make the taste rich and layered in the mouth, not monotonous! ▫️ Mango Kulfi Indian mango milk ice cream Everyone thought it might be nothing special, but in fact this restaurant is quite thoughtful! The mango on the outside is stuffed into the ice cream, and after biting off the sweet mango, there is also ice-cold and fragrant mango ice cream, with chopped pistachios sprinkled on the surface, making it a richer flavor! This dessert is definitely a great way to cool down in summer! ▫️Chutney's Iced Tea Fresh and full of guava and lemon aroma! Appetizing! ▫️Mango Lassi For the drink, I chose this Indian cheese drink with mango flavor. The drink is smoother and smoother than ordinary cheese, and the mango flavor is also quite strong, not too sweet!

Returning to this cherished Indian restaurant for the second time, I was once again encapsulated by its charm and culinary delight. As soon as we were seated, we were presented with a complimentary serving of crispy Indian crackers accompanied by three distinct sauces: beetroot, pineapple, and mint. The beetroot sauce added a subtle spiciness, the pineapple sauce was delightfully sweet, and the mint sauce provided a refreshing note. These visually appealing and delicious starters set a positive tone for the meal. We began with Sarson Malai Jheenga. It was  mustard Prawns with Beetroot, Guava Chutney and Tamarind Sauces. The prawns were succulent and of high quality, bursting with the aromatic essence of mustard. The colorful array of sauces not only enhanced the dish aesthetically but also offered a delightful mix of flavors. Next, we savored the Raj Kachori, a medley of crispy shells filled with various ingredients, served with mint chutney, tamarind sauce, and yogurt. Known as the "king of kachoris," this dish is a staple snack in India, featuring fried, hollow, and crunchy shells. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and authentic Indian flavors, making it a must-try. For the main course, we had the Lamb Rack Curry. The curry was rich and generously filled with minced meat, providing a hearty and satisfying experience. The lamb rack was tender with only a faint hint of gaminess, making it palatable even for those who typically avoid lamb. Accompanying the curry, we enjoyed the Truffle Cheese Naan. This naan was a revelation, with its crispy exterior and soft, fluffy interior. Every bite was infused with the delicate aroma of truffle and a mild cheese flavor. It was so delectable on its own that I hesitated to dip it into the curry, but the combination was ultimately an indulgent and luxurious treat for the taste buds. For dessert, we had the Mango Kulfi, a traditional Indian frozen dairy dessert. This version featured sweet mangoes incorporated into the ice cream, and it was so refreshing and delicious that I could have easily devoured ten more pieces. Our drinks included Mango Lassi and an Apple Freshner. The Mango Lassi was a creamy yogurt-based drink with a delightful mango flavor, while the Apple Freshner offered a crisp and tangy refreshment. The interior of the restaurant exudes luxurious Indian palace vibes, adding to the overall enchanting dining experience. In conclusion, this visit reaffirmed why this Indian restaurant remains a favorite. From the impeccable starters to the flavorful main courses and the delightful desserts, every aspect of the meal was thoughtfully prepared and presented. This place is truly a gem for anyone who appreciates authentic and high-quality Indian cuisine.

Definitely a must-go place in Central. The name "Chutney" itself, which means spice in Indian, sets the stage for an amazing dinner₍ᐢ⑅•ᴗ•⑅ᐢ₎♡. To start our meal, I enjoyed a crispy Lijjat Papad with a trio of flavorful sauces - Mint & Pepper, Pineapple, and Beetroot. Pineapple sauce added a sweet and tangy note. Next we ordered was the Tandoor Octopus, the octopus was cooked to perfection, with a tender and succulent texture that nearly melted in my mouth. The Raj Kachori, a dish beloved by ladies, was visually appealing. The manager explained that "Raj" means royal, and true to its name, this dish was fit for a king or queen. Its colorful appearance immediately caught my attention, with vibrant toppings and an array of chutneys. I was instructed to crack it open and mix all the elements together. This interactive experience added an element of fun to my night! For the main course, we opted for the Malabar Fish Curry with Butter Naan. As someone who searching for something indian but prefers a milder spice level, this dish was an ideal choice. The fish curry was infused with a medley of aromatic spices, creating a rich and flavorful sauce. The fish was tender. Paired with the soft chewy butter naan, this would be a must-try dish here. For drinks, we opted for the Rose and Mango Lassi. Served in big glasses, these yogurt smoothies were the perfect balance of creamy and refreshing. I requested mine to be less sweet, and the result was a lassi that hit all the right notes. The fragrance of the rose lassi was particularly enchanting! We had a Pistachio Kulfi for dessert, the traditional Indian frozen dessert, , with every bite offering a burst of pistachio goodness. Chutney provided a pleasant and comfortable dining environment. The spacious and earthy ambiance made me feel right at home, and the great service added to the overall experience💓. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to cater to any dietary preferences or requirements. Worth a visit!

We decided to try out a unique restaurant near Tai Kwun called CHUTNEY. It is located right across from Tai Kwun, next to the Stone Slabs Street. CHUTNEY is an Indian cuisine restaurant, which is quite a novelty for us as we rarely have Indian food. The restaurant is situated on the 4th floor, with a view of Tai Kwun from the window. The restaurant has a spacious and comfortable seating area. As soon as we sat down, they served us a complimentary appetizer, which was Indian crisps with three different sauces. The presentation was exquisite, and the crisps were crispy and slightly salty. We ordered two lunch set menus, which included a starter, main course, beverage, and dessert. For the starters, we chose the chicken tikka salad and tandoo octopus. The chicken was tender, and the salad had a generous portion, making it a healthy choice for a starter. The octopus was not chewy at all and had a delicious sweet taste. In terms of the main course, we ordered the Achari Beef Short Rib and Old Delhi Butter Chicken, accompanied by butter naan and garlic naan. When the naan bread was served, we were surprised by the portion size. The naan bread was fragrant and filled with chicken and beef. Adding some sauce made it even more delicious. The chicken and beef were cooked to perfection and had rich flavors in the sauces. The butter chicken was flavorful and aromatic without being too overpowering, making it suitable for the taste preferences of Hong Kong people. The Achari sauce, made from fennel seeds, black cumin, fenugreek powder, cooked with tomatoes and onions, combined with large pieces of beef short rib, had a tantalizing aroma. For beverages, we had the Mango Lassi, which was full of mango flavor and had a creamy texture. It was incredibly refreshing, and we couldn't resist drinking half of it in one go. The dessert was a delicate cake, with a perfect portion size and not overly sweet, providing a satisfying end to the meal.
