Good cuisine, pleasant personnel, and a wonderful atmosphere. Excellent location for a celebration or a casual supper. Recommend the dosa, various kinds of cocktails, steamed fish, Bak kit teh (though it may not be the traditional one) and yellow curry fish. Definitely worth a visit...and revisit.More

Chilli Lime has two restaurants, one in Tseung Kwan O and this place at Yoho Phase I shopping mall in Yuen Long. Opening hours are 11am to late daily. They have a fairly large indoor seating area and some outdoor tables as well. You can...do take-away and delivery in the area if preferred. Restaurant has a South and Southeast Asian decor with themed artworks on the wall. Menu features a simple range of familiar Thai, Malaysian, Indian and a few Vietnamese dishes as well. Prices lean towards the high end of the spectrum for this area of the city, food portion sizes are good, food quality fair and service ok. We had a late lunch here recently and found the food to be decent. We tried the Lamb Rogan Josh, which was a fair take on this Kasmir classic. The lamb was a bit dry and chewy, the curry creamier than usual for this dish. The serving had less chilli powder than expected but otherwise tasted decent. You can definitely do better with this dish at proper Indian restaurants around the city but this Rogan Josh wasn't bad. We also tried the Thai favourite - Green Chicken Curry that was a better showing. This was creamy, sweet with a tiny kick. The chicken was properly cooked in the curry sauce, not pre-boiled and simply added to the finished curry sauce like what happens in so many local Thai restaurants around the city. Would have preferred to have been served with some fish sauce and chilis to increase the spice and kick levels. Otherwise, this was a better than average Green Curry and good enough dish to reorder. Overall, not a bad lunch at Chilli Lime. They offer a nice range of South and Southeast Asian classics that most diners will be familiar with. Dishes served up were good enough for those eating as a group or family and wanting a wide enough range of dishes to try.More
