We had a wonderful dinner at the steakhouse. It not only serves the best cuts of beef, but also has amazing starters and sides. The bacon is to die for - tastes like the best "fusion char siu", except better! The wine selection is extensive and priced reasonably for a restaurant of this caliber. Desserts are worth every calorie even after an excessively indulgent meal - the apple pie and soft-serve ice cream vanilla combo is out of this world. And to top it all off, we encountered warm, knowledgeable and hospitable staff from the team led by the indefatigable manager James ... Here is to the best steakhouse this side of Manhattan, and dare I say perhaps among the best even compared to those in the Big Apple!

Very good overall experience. The decor is dark and intimate. The seating spaced out very well.
Tomahawk steak that was cooked well for about 1,300 HKD. Crispy fat. I appreciate it when the waiter does not carve the rib-eye when asked not to. Oyster selection is various so make sure to ask if you have specific oyster flavour profile.
They have a good Italian wine selection. Service was very good.

My wife had arranged my birthday dinner here on 10th June. Loved the decor which has a very English feel to the whole place; the lighting is also dim which makes the place more initimate and romantic. Also loved the seating arrangement which is very spacious and gives more privacy.
We ordered quite a bit to be honest. Lobster Bisque, 3 appetizers (Scallops, King Prawns and Crab cakes) - all of them were outstanding. After all of this had very little space for the mains! I had ordered the Lobster and my wife has ordered the Beef burger. Again the mains were really good.
The only slight downer for me was that there is only one beer on the tap (HK Young Master Ale). For a place this good I would strongly recommend the restaurant to put a few more beers on the tap which would go really well with the food.
At the end my wife had asked the restaurant to arrange for a birthday cake which they did very graciously. They even clicked a picture and framed it for us so that it remains as a wonderful memory
The service was overall good. I would like to single out Joyce and Queensy who were exceptional when it came to the service. Extremely courteous and always serving with a smile. They made our day!
We would definitely be coming back here and this place is a must visit for people looking for a nice, classy place to chill and unwind.

Experienced a fantastic birthday dinner at this establishment. A speakeasy feeling restaurant with an old-world atmosphere without feeling dated. We dined a well appointed private room with an imperial feel to it. The appetizers were exquisite, fresh caviar on ice, aged Iberico ham, and fresh yellow fin tartare. The main course of tomahawk wagyu and porterhouse, with savoury sides of spinach, thick cut bacon, and "dirty potatoes" were exceptional. Gordon our server was a shining example of quality service - sometimes a rarity in this city. Attentive, professional and clever without being overbearing, and extremely knowledgeable on every dish- the guy can pretty much tell you what type of chocolate they feed the cows. Well done, you made our night unforgettable. Thanks, to the entire team, a memory of Hong Kong I'll cherish forever.

For my birthday I decided to reserve one of the restaurant's private dining rooms and I can only recommend this decision. One has a very distinctive dining experience in this separated area and all of us simply had a great time.
As an absolute beef fanatic, I felt very at home at Grand Hyatt Steakhouse. We had the USDA Prime Porterhouse, Wagyu Tomahawk, M9 wagyu hanger steak & the beef rib - all of which more than fulfilled my expectation. Food: Superb!
Nevertheless, the shining star of this dinner was not only the beef but our waiter Gordon, who was not only charming, very knowledgeable, and attentive but went above and beyond to make this a special evening to us all. His service was exemplary and something that I have - until then - not experienced in Hong Kong. Big shout out to Gordon.
Also, compliments to the kitchen and the rest of the staff involved. All of them made this birthday celebration a special one.

In a city where restaurants of every cuisine are aplenty, Grand Hyatt Steakhouse aces in food, service and environment. The decor is cozy and leather seat comfortable. Service is top-notch among five-star hotels. Menu is the typical steakhouse fare with standard options. Garlic bread is the best I've ever had. Lobster bisque is solid. Bacon is unparalleled in town. The smoked pork belly is smoky but not burnt or too salty. We had the Australian wagyu tomahawk and it's a delight to both eye and mouth. The meat is grilled to perfection with crispy tip and tender heart. The accompanying green peppercorn sauce is refreshing. Dessert is also nice. Chocolate fondant is lovely. Cheesecake is less remarkable and not the New York flavour. In general, it's an enjoyable evening with money well spent. This is also the best steakhouse experience in Hong Kong.

The whole dining experience was excellent! The restaurant has its own exotic vibe and we have got a booth which is pretty good. We have ordered a rib eye to share and that was amazing, the crab cake was very delicious as well.
Thanks for the meal and serving. We were really surprised when we checked the bills - it is nearly half of the price we paid in Mandarin Grill but we had a much better dining experience in Grand Hyatt Steakhouse. Would love to give a big thanks to the Steakhouse :)

My fiancé and I decided to come to this restaurant as our 1 year anniversary celebration in hopes to enjoy our milestone. However and very unfortunately we were delivered the absolute opposite.
1) We were particularly excited for the make your own Bloody Mary bar as we're somewhat avid drinkers of this cocktail but to our own discovery, the staff told us it was unavailable due to a "party" the night before. The staff never once informed us of this as we arrived to the restaurant, we had to find out ourselves!! I've worked in this industry long enough to know that this isn't a valid excuse but lack of preparation.
2) The service was disgustingly slow in delivering cocktails. After we found out that the Bloody Mary's were limited in selection, we had to order from the staff directly. Once we did, each cocktail took 15+ minutes to arrive. This is an absolute disgrace and doesn't justify spending close to 700+ for a free flow brunch when I could go to Soho for 400.
3) We received our starting sharing platter which was lovely but once we finished we found that out STARTERS didn't arrive for 30 minutes after 3 complaints as to where it might be! All we received was an apology and empty stomachs to compliment the free flow. As you all know, drinking on an empty stomach is asking for trouble.
4) We ordered a 270g Ribeye steak for sharing medium rare but to come back to us as *rare* (almost alive) I had to send it back to be recooked and sadly the steak was tougher afterwards due to it being recooked.
It is very unfortunate to see this restaurant fall down the ranks of quality of service, food and drinks especially for such a highly prestigious hotel name and restaurant. My fiancé's day and mine were ruined and I won't ever forget this. Usually hotels are supposed to bring memorable experiences. However this one brought nightmares.

環境舒適, 侍應及經理十分友善, 侍酒師亦十分專業介紹各種酒類(最後品嚐了一支香檳及紅酒), 更即時安排對應的品飲建議。
特別記得Seria, Elizabeth 為我們介紹菜單和推介頭盤, 及 Martin在我們有選擇困難時十分有耐性地介紹各類牛扒選項及烹調方式, 對餐牌十分了解。最後即使到了大約收工時間, 結帳時Veronica也十分有耐性地主動幫助我們解決會員分數問題, 十分友善地招待我們。 下次一定會再來!
Superb ambiance, friendly and detail-minded staff, and a professional sommelier who had taken great care of our wine to its maximum performance.
Maryland crab cake is a must-have, juicy and fresh crab meat covered in crispy layer with a thickness just right.
Managers Seria, Elizebeth and Martin patiently listened and presented choices of all courses, entrees, seafoods, needless to say steaks available with the temperature right as we had expected.
Had a friendly chat with Veronica before we leave, who patiently guided us to get points on membership too. Best steakhouse in town to chill, relax and have a great time.
Next time we will try out the specialty the steakhouse has to offer.

The Grand Hyatt always get it right! From the moment my husband and I got to the restaurant we were greeted with friendly service. That continued throughout the entire dinner experience. We started with the crab salad… delicious! We then ordered the porterhouse to share, my husband likes his steaks medium where as is medium well. There were no issues with taking a few pieces and cooking it a little extra for me. The steak was amazing along with the truffle fries and Brussels sprouts.
Over all this was a great experience. I highly recommend a visit!

Everything about dinner tonight was great - upon arrival I was a little bit unsure about the table we were allocated in because it was right next to the main corridor. The staff instantly noticed and kindly offered another table for us. She also knows the menu really well and was able to recommend us some great dishes. We also received a happy anniversary card with a printed photo and handwritten messages from the staff team. It was definitely a memorable one. Thank you!

Yet another excellent family meal at the Steakhouse in the Grand Hyatt. Our dedicated waiter made a special effort to ensure our first course was on the table quickly for our son.
Starters were excellent, highly recommend either the octopus or the snails in herb butter. As for the mains, both the USDA Rib Eye and the Tenderloin were just perfect.
I’d you are a crumble fan, and have the room, the apple crumble with whipped ice cream is a fan favourite.

The M9 Wagyu Steak was well cooked with tasty mashed potato even the steak looked like quite raw. The appetizer was lobster salad with vegetable which gave me a very refreshing feeling. The desert was some sort of crispy pastry which I cound not be able to tecall the exact name, but it is a bit too sweet. Overall, the dinner is delicious and enjoyable. Their service especially Seria Gong, assistant manager is very nice that she served us a complmentary extra mashed potato and ice cream cup for the kid. Thanks a lot.

My family and I had a phenomenal time celebrating our wedding anniversary at Grand Hyatt Steakhouse. The starters and desserts were particularly delightful, with the crab cakes being amazing, the steak tartare being fresh and tasty, and the onion soup being rich and flavorful. We couldn't resist indulging in the delicious apple crumble, even though we were already full. The service provided by Virman Leo Cava was top-notch, and the overall experience was definitely worth the price. We're already planning to visit again soon.
