Hotspot is a hotpot restaurant that was decorated based on multi-nation theme, with China, Turkey, France and Japan's the theme. Clam soup with garlic was sweet and fresh in taste as there were alot of clams in it, with the clams fat in size and no sand in it. Cut beef jowl was cut till just nice, smooth and juicy. Handmade meatball with spinach and beef ball with cheese were very chewy and fresh in ingredients, with the beef ball very cheesy. Sliced eel was fresh and chewy. Celtuce only need to boil for few seconds and was very juicy. Coconut drink was sweet and clear, with the meat not too tough.

This is a new hot pot restaurant in Causeway Bay. Hotspot is the recent Instagram highlight with exotic decor and spacious interior. The menu offers the typical hot pot toppings. Food in general is quite underwhelming. The broth is very salty. Toppings are not very fresh, especially the beef. Service is lacking but price is high. Overall, this place is not recommended.

Sugar cane and imperatae drink - It was very clear and cooling, not too sweet for my liking. It was presented similar to a globe, very pleasing. Special clam soup with garlic - This was one of their popular soup base and certainly it did not disappoint. They used huge white clams and were very fresh and sweet. The soup was clear and sweet, absorbing the essence of the clams, garlic and sliced red chilli further enhancing the taste. Local beef jowl - It was cut till thin in texture, with nice marbling on it. It was very tender and juicy when cooked. Mashed cuttlefish with black truffle and mashed shrimp with crab roe were chewy and juicy, able to taste the freshness of the paste. Black truffle and crab roe helped to make them flavourful as well. Kurobuta pork and crab dumplings - The skin was soft and yet it did not break off easily. The filling inside was chewy and juicy, fresh in taste. Deep fried fish skin and beancurd roll with salted egg yolk - They were fried till very crispy and chewy, flavourful as well as alot of salted egg yolk was coated onto it. Sweet potato noodles was very chewy and smooth, transparent in appearance when cooked.

Have always been a hot pot lover so I was really excited to check this place out with my friend. Situated in an old-ish in causeway bay, upon getting to the first floor, immediately we saw the colorful Turkish lights decor! Find out later on that each little corner of the restaurant has different themes- sort of like taking you around the world! Kind of exciting as it has been quite a while any of us could travel? Anyways, food was 10 out of 10. Love that they have many options for the soup base and they have many specialty dishes that you cannot try elsewhere! Definitely try it out and you will not be disappointed!

The hotpot was superb! We ordered the spicy bone marrow hotpot, it was really spicy and delicious! Their deep fried "fish skin" and deep fried beancurd crust are highly recommended!!! They were salted egg flavoured and extremely cruchy!! My friend and I couldn't stop eating! The waiters were very friendly and helpful as well!

The space in the store is actually not very big. It was almost full when I went there after 8pm. The decoration is decorated in Chinese, Japanese and Turkish styles. My friend and I sat in the antique Chinese style theme. To match it, of course I chose the signature soup base. Fish maw chicken soup pot, and women get old easily if they don’t make up for it! Fish maw chicken soup pot After the soup comes to a boil, drink a bowl of thick chicken soup first. The soup base is thick because there are really large and thick pieces of fish maw in the soup. It is full of collagen and the fish maw is very chewy in the mouth. The chicken pieces are beautifully presented on the plate, with dry ice smoke coming out, and the chicken is cut into large pieces, and the meat is smooth and tender. Applewood smoked hand-cut beef neck (thin) Just by looking at the fat texture of the beef, you can tell that it is delicious. It is evenly fat and lean, has a strong beef flavor, and has a soft and delicate texture. Dumpling platter In fact, I have to praise the restaurant's thoughtful design of the plating. Ten dumplings are placed on the rotating plates on the upper and lower floors. Each piece has a thin skin and a delicious filling. My personal favorites are the black truffle crab meat dumplings and the crab roe and dolphin meat dumplings. The leek and pork dumplings and the white truffle and wild mushroom pork dumplings are both good. The shrimp meat in the shrimp wonton dumplings is good. Spring teeth. Hand-made ink-infused cuttlefish balls with sesame seeds The cuttlefish balls themselves are delicious enough, and there is cheese filling inside the balls, which is so fragrant that it bursts into pulp when you bite it. Special vegetable platter There are a variety of different fresh vegetables, including radishes, tomatoes, daylilies, lettuce, etc. There are plenty of portions for two people. All in all, this restaurant is a la carte hot pot ingredients model, so the price is naturally higher than other hot pot restaurants. However, their equipment, food presentation, service level, and food quality are indeed better. It is a little more expensive, but it is worth it. .
