The decoration of this hot pot restaurant is very special and very traditional. It is indeed an authentic place; there are many nostalgic neon lights, benches and lanterns. ❣️Sake-braised clam This soup base is very aftertaste. The ingredients include a lot of clams/sake/scallions/garlic/coriander/peppers/onions... Special personnel are in charge All ingredients are fresh. ❣️Fresh fruit Grass jelly pot The smoke and colorful fruits are another popular choice. There are red watermelon flesh, orange mango flesh, white dragon fruit flesh, and black jelly, which are rich in taste. The combination of sour, sweet and cold is also a good companion for hot pot. **I really like their homemade Thai hot and sour sauce, no matter if you eat with seafood/meat

While hotpot is becoming more and more popular in Hong Kong, this is one of the few options with quality. A Smoking Affair is a cozy place in a modern building in Causeway Bay. Decor is funky. Food is the conventional choice. Coconut and chicken broth is a mild take. Beef brisket is tender and flavorful. Service is polite. Price is on the upper end.

Located in Midtown of Causeway Bay, this luxurious hot pot restaurant is named "Go Rolls" which is a play on words that refers to the boiling hot soup in hot pot and also implies a humorous suggestion for men to "go roll" around. The restaurant boasts a high-end ambiance and offers top-quality food. Not only are the ingredients fresh, but the seasoning is also just right. One of the most unforgettable dishes is the crispy fish skin with salted egg yolk dip ($98), which is crispy and flavorful. Another must-try dish is the colorful fresh fruit and coconut jelly pot ($108), which is made with frozen smooth coconut milk, coconut flakes, and red beans, and is the perfect dessert to cool down after enjoying the hot and spicy hot pot.

Do not ever go to this place if you are just a regular customer and not their VIP. Having been to a fair share of restaurants including Michelin star restaurants in the city, this is the most humiliated I've ever felt dining in Hong Kong. The two of us ordered a chicken hotpot and a bunch of hot pot food, we sat there in the cold for more than an hour and still no food whatsoever. All the customers who arrived AFTER us got their food and still nothing for us. We ended up leaving the place without eating anything because if we waited any longer, we'd be giving them permission to humiliate us further. During that one hour waiting in the cold at our table, we asked once about our food. The waitress dismissed us by saying "the chicken hot pot you ordered would need 15 minutes". But at the time of asking, we'd already been waiting for more than 30 minutes - and the waitress herself was the one who put in the order for us when we first sat down. And when we decided to leave the restaurant, none of these staff seemed concerned at all and no apologies whatsoever. This is by far the WORST restaurant I've been to in HK.

A cute restaurant in causeway bay specializing in Hong Kong style hotpot!! Love the neon light interior that has a local vibe to it. Tried the coconut chicken soup base which was so flavorful and rich. The angus beef, dumplings, beef balls were tasty and decently portioned.

The dinner place we went to on the first night in HK. No regrets and it’s one of my highlights. The coconut chicken soup is nice and fragrant. The variety of food is wide and good quality. I really enjoyed it. Service is good as well with proper wine glasses. Quite prompt when we needed to order extra and the service staff is polite! Pricing wise, we paid about 2.8k amongst 5 pax. Not sure what’s the usual price range of hotpot in HK. Definitely a good experience and highlight for me.

🤣 Located in Causeway Bay, "A Smoking Affair" has a playful and whimsical atmosphere with various neon light photo spots. The interior decoration has a nostalgic touch, perfect for enjoying a rolling good time with friends! 🥰 ⭐ Yin-Yang Soup Base
The secret satay soup base has a rich and spicy flavor with a hint of peanut. Even after adding water a few times, it maintains its thick consistency. Overall, it tastes similar to the popular instant noodle brand. On the other hand, the tomato pork bone potato soup is packed with ingredients. The sweetness of the tomato really stands out, giving it an authentic tomato soup taste. ⭐ Golden Crispy Fish Skin
When it comes to hot pot, indulgence is key, and this fish skin is truly over-the-top! It's generously coated with salted egg yolk, and each bite offers a salty and fragrant crunch! ⭐ Colorful Fresh Fruit Jelly Pot
After enjoying the spicy hot pot, it's essential to cool down with something refreshing! The smoky jelly pot is perfect for capturing Instagram-worthy moments. The combination of jelly and evaporated milk is a classic, but pairing it with fresh fruits adds a delightful and refreshing twist. It's a perfect way to soothe the heat after the hot pot session!

The decoration of the upstairs hot pot restaurant "Go Roll" in Causeway Bay is full of neon lights. If you go to the private room and use the stove, you can even sing karaoke. *This restaurant charges a 10% service charge. Medium portion of top-quality beef ($198 a la carte), with tender meat and rich beef flavor. Tomato, Pork Bone and Potato Soup ($168 a la carte), contains tomatoes, potatoes, corns, and pork bones. The pork bone and pork meat is soft and tender, with a rich meat flavor, and the soup base tastes sour and sweet. The original imperial concubine clam ($116 for two) is plump in texture, chewy in texture, and tastes fresh and sweet. The baby cabbage ($55 a la carte) is so fresh. The hand-made noodles ($38 a la carte) have a smooth texture and are easily soaked in soup. Sauces ($44 for two people) include coriander, chives, raw garlic, fried garlic, Sichuan spicy oil, chili padi, sesame paste, satay sauce, Thai hot and sour sauce, soy sauce, black vinegar, and sesame oil. Colorful fresh fruit jelly pot ($108 a la carte), the jelly tastes smooth, cantaloupe and watermelon are sweet, and mango is sour. It tastes better when eaten with coconut milk, red beans, and shredded coconut. @asmokingaffair.hk #Goroll #hkig #Causeway Bay Food #hongkong #hk # punch in #hkinfluencer #hkkol #like4likes #hkeat #hkfood #hkfoodblogger #hkfoodie #hotpot #hkblogger #香港女daily #hkshare #hkmicroinfluencer #hkpr #foodie #food #hkmarketing #香港Food #hkbeautyblogger #CAMERASHISHIXIAN #食好西 #香港 Must Eat # 香港好 Place # Food Recommendation #Chinese Cuisine

Talk to my wife tonight @asmokingaffair.hk Go away! Located on Tang Lung Street in Causeway Bay, the decoration of this restaurant is full of Hong Kong characteristics, making you feel like you are going back in time. 🌃 Apart from having a fire by the stove, go and get some food and drink with shisha! You might as well invite some friends to sit down, have a drink, and enjoy this comfortable environment. 👫🍻 The most important thing is to make a side stove. How about a soup base if you order too little? This densely poured satay soup is super delicious. Add a piece of flatbread and cook it together. The delicious rich flavor will definitely make you have endless aftertaste! 🍲 If you like beef, you won't be disappointed if you come to Go Go Go. They have a variety of beef styles, including premium fresh beef neck ribs, 21-day aged beef ribs, top-quality beef and Angus beef, etc. Each one will melt in your mouth, giving your taste buds the ultimate enjoyment. . 🥩🤤 In addition to beef, other dishes on the menu are surprising, including crispy fish skin, Shunde crispy grass fillet, hand-made shrimp balls, grilled fish rolls with cheese, etc. They are colorful and each one is worth a try. ! 🍴🎉 Finally, if you like desserts, you must try this colorful fresh fruit jelly pot! They use dry ice smoke to make this hot pot even more special, and it also allows you to check in and share your delicious food moments! 🍧📸 How could such a great place not be so popular? Why not invite some friends over to A Smoking Affair to have a hot meal together?

🦞Whole lobster seafood soup $468 The clerk first sautees tomatoes, onions and butter until fragrant, then adds white wine over fire to stir-fry fresh shrimps, scallops, and squid slices with the original open-side lobsters. It is enough to expose the real ingredients and create an instant flame effect🔥🔥The picture is very good Shocking and full of visual effects 🤩 Finally, pour in the rich tom yum soup base. By now, the soup base has absorbed the fresh and sweet taste of seafood. The staff recommends drinking the soup first and then cooking it on the stove. 😍The soup base is a very rich seafood tom yum gong, sour, sweet and spicy, which warms the stomach. The lobsters on the open side are all big, and you can eat the meat as you eat it. The meat is juicy and fresh, and you are not stingy. Finally, we ordered the sweet potato noodles. This one was really great. It absorbed the essence of the sun-dried tom yum soup base. It was smoky, super tasty, and full of satiety. 🥳 Colorful fresh fruit jelly pot🍧 $108 Finally, I ordered a dessert to relieve the spiciness. The effect was very beautiful. It was filled with fairy spirit because of the addition of dry ice. It was served with different fruits, such as watermelon, mango, and cantaloupe. It was sprinkled with shredded coconut and flower milk. The taste was super authentic😝

Today the weather is back to 9 degrees, so I went to have hot pot with my friends. Just go to the nearest popular hot pot restaurant in Causeway Bay. When I entered the store, I saw many famous sayings that Hong Kong people say all the time, "If women are not cruel, men should go away" and "If you don't go away, you will not know how to be healthy". It is very creative and uses the word "food" to match the name of the store. as a theme. The store has two large floor-to-ceiling glass windows with round booths, which are purple and green under the neon lights, giving it a disco feel and a very modern feel. The restaurant should also be very creative and use ancient Chinese bellybands that are as good as your saliva, so that when you turn on the stove, soup or juice will not splash on your shirt. Coconut chicken soup (half) As soon as you bring the huge pot, the staff will help you put the chicken into the soup base. When it boils, the waiter will help you pour the soup. After you finish drinking and eating the chicken, he will help you add the chicken soup while you cook. The soup has the overweight coconut and chicken taste, and is refreshing and sweet, making it a good drink. When adding coconut to the dough, use 🥥 fresh coconut and scrape it off so it won’t be so hard that it explodes. New Zealand Lamb Cutlets The mutton is very bright in color and beautifully sliced. After being rolled and cooked, it smells like sheep and is so fresh. Golden crispy fish fillet Super crispy fried fish fillets, soaked in chicken soup for a few seconds, the fried fish skin is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, super crispy and full of fish flavor. Black truffle dumplings (6 pieces) The black truffle dumplings are very fresh and refreshing, with a strong black truffle flavor.

Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
