The offered concept is a rare find in HK, I am a fan! The extremely high ceiling, use of calm colours and the decor really made me feel i was far away from the crowds. While it is so easy to access by public transport from the city side of the island! The wineroom is located in an alley, behind the market, no busy traffic, so peaceful and relaxed.
I’m a vegetarian and chose the 150gr burrata with veggies and I selected 4 cheeses from the Cheese station. Look at my pictures! It was presented stunning, but the taste was just as good. Still full of excitement to find an very old goats cheese and a soft sheep/cow cheese, offered at a very fair price.
Evan (the owner) lives and breaths hospitality, you feel it in the attention he has for every customer and can see it in the details to make you feel comfortable. He provides an experience for his customers, this is not an average bar, this is a wineroom with great food and bites to pair.
We had such a nice time, perfect start of the weekend!

this new wine-bar opened recently, I think still in soft-opening phase, but already the experience was very different from what you can normally find in Stanley. Its more of a livingroom feeling than a bar and the staff tries hard to make you feel exactly like that, at home. While my friends indulged themselves with the cold cuts of special meats, me as a vegetarian, was not disappointed at all. There is a cart full of special cheeses that I didnt see elsewhere before and there is a combination of fresh burrata cheese with grilled vegetables (my favorite!). Matches perfectly with some good wine.
When you normally go to Stanley you have the choice of too expensive or too 'mass', but with the opening of this wine bar there is now a place available with a special experience at a good pricing.

Had the opportunity to try this new wine bar in Stanley market during the soft opening and what a great place it is! We ordered a mixed platter that aside from fresh vegetables, Latvian bread, tapenade and a beetroot dip, also included burrata, an excellent selection of high-quality cold cuts and three cheeses of our choice from the cheese cart. It was all great and glancing at the different menu selections made by the table next to ours, we wished we could have had room for more! The cheese selection is the best I've seen in Hong Kong in a long time and that alone will make me return for sure. With its friendly, casual atmosphere and a setup that includes a proper dining table as well as sofas, armchairs and cocktail tables, it really does feels like a home away from home - except the service is way better! I cannot wait to come back and sample the wines in due course - and eat my way through the cheese cart!

We had a lovely evening at Bubbles and Wine! The imported products are tasty and the ambiance is cozy, as if you were dropping in on friends for a little sip and chat. The charcuterie dish was ample and we took some home. The cheese selection is outstanding and accompanied by a jam that made the flavors pop! Evan, the proprietor, is humble and generous with his knowledge of food and wine. He is clearly energized and passionate about bringing a new neighborhood option to Stanley. Book ahead. It’s going to be hard to get a table here on a whim!

The owner has done a great job making this feel like a relaxing, elevated living space. It is beautifully decorated. The cheeses and bites were great. We shared a cheese and a charcuterie plate and they were top quality and so deliciouswe have already made plans to cone back with other friends. Looking forward to trying the wines soon!

What a cozy place to enjoy a relaxing afternoon with friends, your partner or just alone. With a European homey feeling interior, great selection of 90 wines, delicious cheeses, charcuteries and small bites, Bubbles & Wines is conquering the hearts of the Southside community fast. Your host Evan knows all about the wines and small bites he has on the menu. He, Petra and the other staff welcome you 'in their home' and that is exactly how we felt the whole evening.

I would like to be able to write a more positive experience of this venue, given at the time I went the wine and platter were great, however I was charged $1620HKD when I should have been charged $628HKD.
I have been in contact with the management of Bubbles and Wines who have admitted fault but not given me a refund despite saying that they would. I have been waiting 4months for the venue to settle this fault (since the point at which they admitted fault) but so far to nothing and they have stopped responding to my messages.
Beware dining / drinking at this venue and be sure to check your credit card bill afterwards!

This is really one the best kept secrets in Hong Kong. In one of those small alleys in Stanley Market there is Bubbles & Wines. Excellent, high quality food (the cheese platter is exquisite!), great wines at affordable prices and above all super service of a small but very dedicate and passionate staff. A must visit place in Hong Kong!

I was in the Beautiful village of Stanley HK last week and came across this picturesque wine bar & Restaurant. A Really nice ambience and comfortable setting. Anna who is a member of the staff was very lovely and really professional at her job and very knowledgeable on wines.

Great little place for an evening of good wine (particularly good selection by the glass) and accompanying food. The service is also friendly and attentive. Relaxed atmosphere, tucked away in a hidden corner of Stanley.

Went for brunch for a friend’s birthday. What a fabulous experience. Food was exceptional and plentiful. Free flow cava and wine were superb. Excellent quality and our glasses were never empty. First class service. Highly recommended if in Hong Kong.
