Tasty seafood - one of the best I have eaten in HK. We went for a set menu for 4, not without hesitation as normally you get a bit substandard portions and variety than on a la carte. But we have not been disappointed. Steamed fish, calamari, scallops, vegetables were delicious. We paid 828 HKD for 4 which, with free drinks, was reasonable for the amount and quality of food we got. Thank you!

We got the meal deal for 2. You get vegetables, fish, shrimp, chicken, rice, mussel, and fruit. So you have 7 courses and it was easily enough for two. The chicken was not so good and dry but the shrimp were in a real good sauce. Best i ever had and i eat a lot of seafood.

Since my last review in 2016 it was noticeable that prices have gone even higher here but it is still a great place to dine on lovely seafood. The staff remember us since 2000 when we first started to frequent the restaurant. Not a lot else to say. Will always be a must do whenever we visit Hong Kong.

I decided to come here based upon the rave reviews, but wish I had not. It's obviously nice to get a table at dusk and look out at the peaceful scene on the water, but it would have been nice to have good food to accompany it! I ordered their fried vegetable and garlic dish (choi sum), which was yuk..how can you get something like this wrong? Probably using slightly old garlic from a jar. I also ordered Ma Po tofu which clearly stated including mincemeat in the menu. Along it came without the mincemeat, which they claimed was a vegetarian dish, and then back tracked once I complained! Don't appreciate the intention to deceive! And the dish was really not very good. Finally steamed garoupa..which was cooked so so, have had much better elsewhere. And all this for a hefty sum. The waitress tried to give me the business card at the end of the meal in case I wished to return, which of course I will not, and nor do I recommend others going.

Great food and service. Sitting outdoors in the balmy warmth of an evening in November is memorable, more so when the food is so well cooked and served. We were a group of 20+ so we didn’t order individual dishes. Therefore I can only comment on the overall food quality which was great. We had no waiting for service and food came quickly. I did not know this restaurant was so highly regarded until afterwards when I saw the tripadvisor reviews, but I am not surprised, and pleased that we went there.

We visited Lamma for seafood and this restaurant because of the reviews. It was, as others have said, excellent. The salt and pepper prawns were outstanding and memorable. Nice fresh vegetables, a good steamed fish and I wish I could do egg fried rice the way they do it - even that was brilliant.

I used to love going to eat at Lamma Island in the 1980s when I was lucky enough to call Hong Kong my home. Much of the city has changed, but I was delighted to find that Lamma felt just as it always did. The atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxed although the high speed ferry from bustling central district whisks you there in just 30 scenic minutes. My old haunt, the Lamma Hilton, closed a few years ago, so I looked this one up and made a booking. I was able to order my old favourites - salt and black pepper prawns, steamed whole fish Cantonese style, ginger and onion lobster, chilli crab - it was all fantastic - even better than my fond memories. This place has wonderful people too, who really care about the quality and the service and who are really considerate, friendly and helpful. Not to be missed!

service particularly good, friendly and helpful for English only speakers. Food first rate lobster, scallop, prawn/ langoustines with excellent pork dish and veggie dish. Set menu excellent. Good value

We’d been traveling around cities for almost 3 weeks and loved the peace of this place.
We got the ferry over from Central but didn’t do the trek as we were too hot so but we had a table next to the water, drank great white wine and had fantastic seafood. What more could you want??
We had salt and pepper prawns ( shell on ), scallops with cashew nuts and stir fried crab ( claws had shell on ). Would absolutely recommend 😊

I love this place! Memories of a previous trip to Hong Kong were one of the reasons I came back. This restaurant offers excellent value and amazing seafood. Plans today to walk across Lama Island were thwarted by the rain, so the morning walk followed by lunch changed to dinner. It may have been eight years, but we weren't disappointed. Wonderful food in such a great setting. We had the set meal with clams, calamari, prawns, the most succulent scallops, chicken and watermelon to finish. Washed down with water and wine for less than $600HK for 2 Really.. what's not to love? See you soon! Hopefully after a good walk next time!

Wanted to go Rainbow Restaurant but bypass this restaurant. Also saw review was good and decided to give a try.
Verdict: Good food, reasonable price, and the Waitress Ah-ying was very friendly. Not pushy and gave recommendation.
A good family meal (About 6 to 7 dishes with drinks) for about 6 paxs - HKD 720 (About $122).
Best part: Each one get an abalone

After hiking across the island, ended our walk with dinner on the water. The prix fixe menus are the way to go - the one on the first page was just tremendous. The lobster dish was one of the best I’ve ever had.
Great place to stop!

Dining right on the waterfront with 5 courses and a beer and diet coke - can't get any better. Shrimp, crab, chicken, calamari and vegetables. The owner (our server was very helpful and kind)

Good for family visit. Excellent service provided by three siblings. Most friendly and considerate. Some of us were suffering from insect bites and they gave us a very effective ointment. When we were leaving, they even gave us a new bottle. The seafood is good as in most of these restaurants along the sea.
