It’s a Nepali restaurant operated by a group of non-local people (I guess they are Nepalese😆). With classical English songs, and a feel of stepping into a jungle, no wonder why it’s called “the Jungle”😎
You can completely feel the devotion and efforts paid on...the decorations, designs, food choices, or even the utensils and side dishes. You can enjoy a taste of exoticism there😌, and feel like you have been to another country outside HK!
Truffle pizza $158
The pizza is filled with mixed truffle sauce, mozzarella cheese🧀,herbs, and mushroom🍄. I specially love this stringy pizza with a lot of cheese on it. The combination of the ingredients, also with the crispy crust, make me enjoying it so much🤤
Mixed fried and steamed chicken momo $88
The Nepalese dumplings here can be ordered with half steam and half fry🥟, the dumplings are big in size and are put inside a mushiki. With the juicy chicken fillings and their handmade chili chutney🌶, it immediately echos me with the taste of the momo when I first had it in Nepal.
What’s more I have ordered are The Jungle salad ($108) and Sargemba ($88). The salad is packed delicately with mixed forest leaves🌿, cherry tomato, avocado🥑, cucumber🥒, carrot🥕, onions🧅, and chef’s salad dressing. For the Sargemba, it’s made of homemade sausage, stuffed with pork blood🩸 , minced pork🐷, and Himalayan spices🌱. The texture feels like the pork liver and the taste is similar to the pork intestine that HK people usually eat🐷. If you are not eating edible animal viscera much, you may not get used to its taste, but this traditional Nepali dish really worths a try.
Coco ($48)
Ingredients contain coconut water🥥, pandan, lemon juice🍋, and ginger beer. You can feel the shredded coconut while drinking the lemon-flavored mocktail. And the pandan makes the drink greenish, what a special.
Healthy yak $48
It’s made of Yakult, blueberries, lemon, and dry ginger ale🍹. It’s a leading flavor of lemon with a slight taste of yakult. I thought it would be sweet but somehow it’s more like fresh and light.More
