Pica Pica is a contemporary Spanish tapas bar led by Chef Edgar Sanuy. The name Pica Pica comes from the Spanish expression “a little bit of this, a little bit of that,” which refers to the tradition of enjoying a fun, casual meal that consists of many dishes served in small portions. Pica Pica is the place to be! We recently enjoyed a delightful dinner for two, and it exceeded all our expectations.
The Spanish tapas were exceptional, with standout dishes like the Shank of Lamb and the Black Squid Ink Paella. However, the Octopus Potato was hands down the star of the evening—absolutely delicious!
Our server, Mark, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. The staff was attentive, keeping our water glasses full and clearing dishes promptly, which added to the smooth flow of our meal.

I brought my family here to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant environment is very good, the food is delicious and fresh, there are a variety of tapas choices, and it is easy to eat. The clerk is very humorous and even sings birthday songs to make the birthday boy have a happy birthday.

Very surprised! Paella has a big option, so that one bit is about a hundred mosquitoes already enough to eat two people! Egg cake super good food, in front of the potatoes good aroma, the legs on top are really eating to stop not to the mouth 🙂 $18 potatoes are also good to eat, put in the mouth good! After that, it is a luxury enjoyment, the black and white goose liver and the beef lion, and the three-fold eating good! Great cocktails are worth a try, good refreshing!

We did not have reservation when entering this restaurant. We got a place at the counter opposite to the kitchen, where we had to sit next (in a row) instead of opposite to each other. While we were inclined to accept, the waitress told us that we can stay only 90 min and then we have to leave. This caused that we did not have dinner at this place because this rule does not follow our paradigm of a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. To this end, we cannot assess the food, but don‘t find the policy of the restaurant convincing. It seems that this is a place where people go to enjoy ‚fast food‘, although the name and environment of the restaurant seems to be far beyond ‚fast food‘ at first glance. Maybe the policy is different if you have reserved a table in advance.

We went there for a late lunch on Sunday afternoon 4pm. Despite the fact that the restaurant was empty we were pushed to accept a bar table while all the standard table were free. After negotiation, we got a table but we were reminded that we can’t stay more after 6pm, no more than 1h30
Before even have the menu in hand, we already felt that we have to leave as soon as we can.
We decided to stay and the food is good but this restaurant is only here to maximise the money you spend with them. It’s a pity because with a better service, I would have given them a 4 or 5 star.
Definitely one of the best Spanish food in town… but you have to give the experience … they are not here to make you feel well !
“Pica Pica is well known, we don’t need client”… that’s a bit of the feeling we had !

The staff was friendly but the restaurant was very noisy and the food was quite disappointing. The aioli shrimps were over cooked and the roasted pig was sub-par. The ink rice dish had some small bits of squid that had a leathery texture. The best dish was the beef cheeks. It was tender and tasty. I hope this was just an off day for the chef.

I went on a trip to Hong Kong to celebrate my friend's birthday. The noodles and dim sum are delicious, but I wanted to try something different, so I made a reservation here. Of course, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. When making a reservation, I asked for a congratulatory message to be written on the cheesecake plate, and they did a great job. Also, the happy birthday song the staff sang while serving the cheesecake was a real surprise. I plan to visit again on another anniversary. Thank you for making good memories. A very vibrant place in that area, great food, happy hour drinks until pretty late, pricing is very reasonable. A very great place for some after work easy drinks. We were served by the Ploa team, they were very attentive and welcoming, answered requests in a timely manner. Will absolutely come back.

The food was so amazing! All the dishes were tasted good. This restaurant is highly recommended for birthday celebrations. The team sang birthday song for the birthday star with the dessert decorated with birthday greeting. Also, an instant photo was taken and printed as a card, which was a gift for the birthday star. We were so happy and full after the dinner. Besides, there’s a tips for you - as the restaurant was full of customers during my visit, remember to reserve your seats!

The staffs are all very nice to their guests. The most impressive thing was one staff who worked at the food bar noticed the beef tenderloin I ordered was sitting on my table untouched for some time. He was very attentive to ask if we still wanted it. He explained if we didn’t want it, he can waive it off for us. At the end, I still finished everything I ordered. The way this staff acted showed me Pica Pica cared the quality of the foods they made for their guests because they cared for their guests. This made my visit perfect and because of that, I will come back again.

I’d dinner in Pica Pica with a friend last weekend.
I hadn’t been there for about 3 years before then. The menu hadn’t changed much. The food was still good. So was the service.
One minor issue was that some dishes were prepared and served too quickly. Fortunately we’d seats at the counter and could see what’s going on in the open kitchen so I asked the chefs to slow down a bit. Afterwards, the pace became much better and our dinner more enjoyable.

Great food with amazing service! We were celebrating an anniversary and the staff gave us a handwritten card with a Polaroid photo of our table, signed by the Pica Pica team. The food was delicious, if a little salty, but we don't mind a but of flavour! My only note would be the music was a little loud and overwhelming.

Had a wonderful time in Pica Pica for celebrating my birthday. Food is amazing and atmosphere is very nice. Staff there were singing bday song when they were carrying out my cake, and prepared a birthday card with my instant photo, WHAT A SURPRISE!! Defo recommended to go, and I think I am going there again soon as well!

We went to Pikapika for the birthday dinner of my girlfriend’s dad !
Food was very good especially the Black rice paella. Service was very friendly and professional. They even served complementary cake to celebrate his birthday and prepared a letter with some pictures a waiter had taken of us.

This is one of the best spots and is the best spanish restaurant in the whole of Hong Kong. It’s not just for couples, it can be for family , friends and gatherings. The cost is about average but well worth the price for the atmosphere, vibe and a friendly team of staffs who observe and pay attention to your every detail.
