Walking around on the market made me hungry and this looked like a decent place where you could sit out in the open. Communication was based on improvisation, byt people were super friendly and my Singapore noodles were fantastic. I'm getting hungry while I type this... It's simple and low budget but I would definitely eat here again next time. Oh, and yes, they have an English menu.

This is a hidden Gem great food and friendly staff don’t miss the chance to taste real local food. We actually went back the following night to try other freshly cooked delights

This is an outdoor street market restaurant - bang in the centre of the night market. Plastic chairs and tables - and set amidst the hustle and bustle of the street market. The food is very good, all the dishes we are were really good quality - and very large portion sizes. As others have noted the prices are on the high side for the street nature of the restaurant - and when we were there most of the others at the tables were not local - but it is still a good place to go to eat.

We ate here as it was close to Temple St Market. The food was decent but it was too expensive imo. The prices are marked up so much given its a tourist area and you can expect to pay at least 20 percent more on most menu items. We won't come back given its prices are not reasonable, although we expect the other restaurants will be similarly priced. In our view, there are other seafood restaurants in HK which are of the same quality but more moderately priced.

The busy restaurant offers great seafood dishes, while the table, the plates and everything else is of rather mediocre quality. Order Chinese Tsingtao beer - it is incredibly cheap and complements the food rather well. Atmosphere is not fantastic, but it is intriguing to watch the visitors of the Night Market and the other restaurant guests.

In the market area, Tong Tai was busy with locals and tourists alike so was worth a try. It turned out to be a great decision - a delicious spicy Singapore noodle with shrimp and ham, and well priced drinks. There were loads of interesting options on the menu too, so would be worth repeat visits.

We are here having stumbled across it on a rainy night in Hong Kong. Staff were friendly and the food was just ok. Weren’t blown away by anything and the deep fried squid was pretty poor and tasted of tofu. That said, the noodles were delicious but at around £50 for a couple of dishes and a beer for ‘street food’, we won’t be going back

We hadn't planned where to eat when at the Night Market and came across this place. We were not disappointed. This food was so good - out of this world good. The clanms with black bean sauce were out of this world. Service was friendly. Restaurant was really busy but this was so worth it. We would highly recommend.

An excellent street food restaurant in the heart of Temple Street. Don’t expect a fancy setup, but the food is exceptional at a reasonable price compared to the more upmarket eating places. A must do for the evening meal!

Wandered around looking for somewhere to eat dinner while at the Night Market. Ended up going with this place. Was busy but quick, food was good. Has a toilet that you can use that is relatively clean.

We visited Temple Street Night Markets on a Friday night and decided on this restaurant to eat dinner. It was exactly the kind of experience we’d been after. A casual vibe, bustling atmosphere, delicious and interesting food, beer to wash it down and friendly, efficient service. We tried a fried oyster omelette and also a plate of soya goose meat. Plus a long neck each of Tsingtao beer. So many great menu options and overall such a great Hong Kong experience.

One night we decided to visit the Temple Street markets, closed to our hotel . The markets are a treat of ' you want it , , they've got it' . As a result of our stroll through the markets we found this gem of restaurant . We went back the following two nights , a total of three nights in a row. The service is slap dash but so friendly , plastic stools to sit on and fold up tables. The place is atmospheric and constant flow of people . The food is fantastic , so many taste variations , we had nothing that we didn't enjoy .All washed down with Tsingtao beer , what bliss. I would have to take a whole page here to describe the food we had so its best that you give it a go. You will be greeted warmly and if you go back the next night you will be treated like a long lost friend . Enjoy .

If you eat here only pay by cash. We had our MasterCard cash passport scammed and over 4000 Hong Kong dollars withdrawn from account within seconds of payment for meal. Incredible as they don’t need a PIN number to do it. Only the 3 digit code on the back.

Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
