Hong Kong's land is small and there are many people, and land prices have soared; therefore, many restaurants have moved into industrial buildings to reduce costs in order to survive. Kwun Tong District is home to many restaurants with delicious food from all over the world, which is well known to everyone. I went to this area specifically today to wait for my other companion to get off work, so I could have dinner on the side. My husband knew that I had always loved eating Thai food, so he took me to the Camel Paint Building, which is isolated from his company. It turns out there is a Thai restaurant on the ninth floor, which is large and spacious. The dishes are exquisite and the food quality is good, and there is no extra charge for lunch. We saw how expensive the menu was, so we simply chose a set menu for two at $388.
Thai Shrimp and Green Papaya Salad
This salad uses fresh shrimp and papaya healthy ingredients. The shrimp meat is fresh and sweet, the papaya is crunchy, and the special Thai fish sauce is particularly refreshing.
Signature hand-baked shrimp cakes
The fried shrimp cakes are hot and delicious, each piece is chewy and chewy.
Grilled Satay Lamb Skewers
The mutton is rich in flavor but not spicy at all. The skewers with spices are slightly spicy, and it's delicious even without the satay sauce.
Fried Soft Shell Crab with Stir-fried Yellow Curry and French Garlic Buns
The soft-shell crab is fried to a crispy texture, and the garlic buns are baked so crispy and fragrant with garlic; dipping it into yellow curry enhances the taste.
Chinese cabbage with garlic paste
The fried garlic is so fragrant, and the stir-fried vegetables are so delicious.
saigon girl
The lemon juice and passion fruit taste is not too sweet, making it a favorite choice for women.
Coconut grove scenery
The coconut milk flavor is mixed with pineapple juice, which is sweet and sour. It is delicious.

Add some thai in Kwun Tong is my second visit! Of course, it’s the delicious food in the shop that makes me come back for more!
This time I ordered the 6 kinds of wild food on the left! As the first appetizer, I ordered Spanish air-dried ham with minced meat and lettuce wraps. When it arrived, he almost gave me a kiss! The portions are generous and there’s a lot of ham! Very good value for money 💛
The lettuce is also very refreshing and fresh!
Next up is the Pan-fried Pork Neck Squid Cake. The 10-cent portion is more than enough, but it also needs to be hot and spicy. I have to encore the last time I had it at my place😎
Next, I ordered the braised pork belly with yellow curry, but this one was a little off, probably because it was cooked too long and too dry.
However, the soft shell crab noodle ordered by my colleague was outstanding. The two large crabs were very crispy and paired with lime juice. It was superb! I decided to encore it next time! Those who love eating soft shell crab must not miss it!
Finally, there was a cup of Mango Yakult Smoothie. The mango flavor was so fragrant that even ten stomachs couldn’t bear to eat it this way!
This dinner was for two people, but both of them left the restaurant with a big belly in their arms! Very satisfied 🍄😍
I will definitely come back and plan to have a good meal next time!

Add Some Thai Restaurant is a Thai-Western fusion restaurant.
The dishes combine Thai and Western food culture and are cooked in bold and innovative ways, allowing guests to enjoy delicious food and a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience.
The restaurant layout is very thoughtful! The decoration is wood x natural style. Next to the dining table is a small river with crystal chandeliers flowing, creating a resort style, as if you are in the natural atmosphere of Chiang Mai, Thailand ~ and the lighting in the store is soft, creating a comfortable and harmonious dining environment. Guests can enjoy delicious food and a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience here. Very suitable for checking in!

I have been visiting Kwun Tong District on a daily basis, and I suddenly like to stroll around this area. Friends often recommend the factory buildings here to have different types of restaurants. Tonight, I met up with an old colleague at the Camel Paint Building on Hoi Yuen Road, [Add.Some.Thai. Restaurant] Dinner.
We shared Spanish air-dried ham with minced meat in a lettuce wrap. The minced pork was loose and fragrant, and the ham was salty. It was eaten wrapped in lettuce. The taste was neutral and not greasy.
Bangkok's classic hand-baked shrimp cakes~the shrimp meat is fresh and sweet, you can order seafood sauce (fresh and sweet) or Thai sauce (slightly sour), both have their own advantages, the meat is smooth and elastic, and the taste is rich.
Stir-fried broccoli sprouts with minced garlic~tender, crispy and chewy.
Fried Lamb Rack with Multiple Herbs~ The vanilla flavor takes away the smell of the lamb rack, making it tender and chewy.
Thai-style salt-roasted seabass~ No fishy smell, sweet and fragrant, the fish meat is smooth and tender, and the saltiness is moderate.
Just like the name of this restaurant [Add.Some.Thai.Restaurant], we ate both Western and Thai food, which was enough!

Add Some Thai is a hidden gem at an industrial building in Kwun Tong. Close to the MTR station, it offers a simple but refined menu. The lunch selections are great bargains. Everything is beautifully presented. Service is nice. In general this is an excellent option when in the area.

Add Some Thai is a Thai restaurant located in the industrial building of Kwun Tong. Even though the shop size is big, it was almost full of customers.
Three colour ice was full of coconut milk, and was sweet and smooth. Beach Baby is lychee soda, with lychee meat in it as well. It was not too overly sweet and was refreshing.
Hand made fried prawn cake – It was fried till chewy, and the skin was not too thick in texture as well.
Tom yum goong hor fun soup – The chef was generous with the portion, with clam, prawn, squid, mussel and bean curd in it. Hor fun was soft and smooth, and the soup was clear.
Steamed grouper fish – The fish was huge in size, and fish was soft and smooth, absorbing the essence of the soup. There is minced meat, vermicelli and vegetables as well.
Mango sticky rice with ice cream – Sticky rice was sticky, full of coconut milk. Mango was sweet and soft, and coconut ice cream was sweet too.

Add Some Thai located in an industrial building situated in the busiest part of Kwun Tong where surrounded by outlets. The tables in the restaurants are a bit tied up but comfortable with sufficient spacing between, we were lucky to get a table for 8 though we were only 7 of us. The waitress recommended the set for 8 cost at $1588+10% and we added $100+10% for an upgrade of the curry crab dish. The menu didn't include drinks so we ordered separately. Portion was big and we couldn't finish them all and taste was good yet the traditional taste of Thai seems missing but we did enjoy the meal. The overall meal was good but the only shortfall was the the frozen taste of Hainan Chicken. Satay beef and Curry Crab were delicious and recommended.

It has been a while since my last visit to a Thai restaurant. So right after a harsh day of work, I decided to enjoy Thai cuisine at Add Some Thai Restaurant in Kwun Tong.
The restaurant is quite close to MTR station and can be easily located.
The decor is full of mood and brings a sense of Thailand to the customers.
My pick was Pad Thai with soft shell crab. The soft shell crab was freshly made and it was very crispy. Pad Thai was not spicy and indeed a very rich one. It was about a one person portion but of course still perfect for sharing.
The drink was Fresh Lime Soda, but the Chinese name is more beautiful, 清邁瀑布. It is made with fresh lime, mint leaves and Thai soda. As its name tells, it was undoubtedly fresh and refreshing. It was made without sugar so it wasn't sweet at all. No wonder it is one of the recommended drinks by Add Some Thai Restaurant.
Coconut milk cake as dessert. The serving was big enough to be shared among a group of 4, and if you don't mind having the cake halved, it would be enough for 8 people. It was rich in coconut milk flavour and the after taste was superb.
