The Hutongs is the Chinese name based on the Mongolian word for village indicating the old way of life in Beijing. Narrow winding streets with original buildings some 700 years old. A rickshaw ride gives an insight into ancient life. Friendly people and interesting tour.

One of the best restaurants in Hong Kong without a doubt. The views are obviously amazing, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. But the food is the best part, we popped in for a fixed menu lunch and were absolutely delighted. Everything cooked...More

Excellent view of Hong Kong, good service coupled with great Chinese food with a slight twist. I was impressed by the Service as we had spilt a wine glass and the Waitress was first concerned about the person and only THEN about clearing the spill....More

Starting with the negative, Hutong has a very strange approach to service. Moody (to match the decor) and unfriendly appears to be the order of the day! We arrived 10 minutes early and this almost appeared to be an insult, we were told we were...More

Description
Reminiscent of an ancient family courtyard in one of Peking's fast disappearing hutongs (courtyard houses set between narrow lanes), Hutong's interiors are set against the most breathtaking skyline of any international metropolis. This is not the only surprise. The sense of adventure and sheer avant-garde creativity continues in the innovating cuisine inspired by the culinary styles of Peking and Shandong province.
