Got Beef is a burger stand at Central Ferry Pier. I am sure you would have seen their eye-catching neon sign if you catch a ferry from Central to Tsim Sha Tsui on the top deck. I have always wanted to try it, and got a chance to do so after going to gym yesterday. Seeing this definitely swipe away all my guilt for having junk food after working out! I think beef might be the signature, but I really wanted to try out homemade crab cake too, so I got a Soft-drink Burger Combo set of Crab Burger, fries, and a can of coke zero. There was a massive fan at the stand, so it wouldn’t be a problem to enjoy the food without sweating much. Since it was relatively cool, I decided to take a seat next to the stand to enjoy this lovely harbour view. The homemade crab cake was absolutely fantastic! It was filled with so much fresh crab meat that it gave a strong, delicious crab taste. Nice! The amount of melted cheese was just right to the point that you wouldn’t have a messy time eating the burger. As for the tomato and lettuce, they were really good! I am never a veggie person, but they tasted very fine to me. The freshly fried thick cut fries were very yummy too! I am definitely coming back to try out the beef burger, as well as other attractive sides such as spam!!

Because it’s awesome. Though freshly cooked when ordered, my burger and ‘fries’ came swiftly, representing outstanding value at only HK$98 including a soft drink. Whilst the burger was impressively delicious on its own, the chips were outrageously tasty: crispy and flavourful, more so than anywhere else I can think of in the city!

If you're looking for the epic of burgers and fries, this is the place. Perfect for people on the way home from the pier. Food is freshly made and staff is very friendly! It's not pricey at all, $98 for a combo of drink, fries and burger. I'll try their coffee next time as well.

Yesterday on our way back from sight seeing on HK island we stopped in to get a coffee. We stumbled over the typical Starbucks sign and went to join the line when my wife saw the Got Beef sign that says “we have better coffee” so we thought we’d give it ago, and BOY WERE THEY RIGHT. Being from Melbourne Australia where we have a HUGE coffee culture, and as a massive lover of coffee myself I can honestly say, THESE GUYS MAKE THE BEST COFFEE IN HK. It’s only a shame we’re staying in Kowloon on the other side of the bay because I’d go there everyday.

This little stand next to the Starbucks at the entrance to the Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry serves a terrific burger and fries. The combo - burger, fries, drink for HKD 128 - is ready in 8 minutes, and makes a perfect lunch. Burger was tasty, juicy, and well cooked, with cheese, lettuce, and tomato on a lightly toasted, airy roll. The fries were super crispy and light. Service was quick and friendly. All in all, a nice surprise just a 5 minute walk from all the overpriced and overdone eateries at IFC Mall!

I thought this little café at the Ferry Terminal would give standard food and drink with little care. How wrong was I! The coffee was great, the beer better and the food for the kids even better. Stop by during or after you ferry trip and grab a bite to eat

Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
