Came here for weekday lunch and the set menu was good value - selection of rolls and offered the choice of adding a few dollars for drinks and side dishes.
Good fix for American style sushi rolls: Philadelphia roll, California roll, spider roll, rainbow roll, volcano roll, etc.
The restaurant was situated inside an old factory building. But once inside, it was comfortable and clean. The toilet was also reasonably well maintained.

Kokon is a creative Japanese restaurant chain. This place is hidden in an industrial building in Kwun Tong. Popular among locals, the rolls is the major highlight. Options are aplenty from conventional American tastes to house specials. Food is fine and price is reasonable. Service is mediocre and the table is a bit filthy. Overall this place is worth a try only when nearby.

This location has good food if you don’t have any allergies. If you have any allergies, I don’t recommend this location at all. We were there with a child with nut and egg allergy. They told us the maki rolls we ordered didn’t have any eggs or nuts but after eating two pieces he had a reaction and vomited and was wheezing pretty bad. We told the server and he literally said, “Sorry” and then stormed off a second later with no follow up or concern. There is no concept about health safety and how dangerous allergies can be. It’s very sad how unaware people in the restaurant business are about allergies, and Kokon2 is no exception. Definitely NOT A SUITABLE PLACE FOR PEOPLE WITH ALLERGIES.

Dining with friends, we went to the Tsuen Wan Thousand Colors 𣿬The first time I walked around, it was the simple roll sushi shop 🍣 "Gu Jin 2", which specializes in creative rolls at reasonable prices.
The restaurant is small in size and uses wooden colors as the main theme. The wooden chairs and tables give people a comfortable and simple feeling.
I miss you (HKD 98):
The grapefruit meat is sour and sweet, very appetizing. It is served with a variety of crisp and refreshing salads, plus a light and non-greasy sesame sauce. The highlight is the Chinese salad avocado 🥑 which feels healthy, and the crab roe adds texture, and the sweet shrimp is soft It's glutinous and sweet, and the overall portion is large. You want to share it with friends and enjoy it first.
Volcano 🌋 (HKD 128): The clerk presented the fire plate and lit the beacon fire, which was full of ceremony. This restaurant called Gu Jin Er is located in Kwun Tong Industrial Center. I went there to find something to eat after wandering around the streets. I have eaten at its Causeway Bay branch once before, so I wanted to try its other dishes this time.
🧈Homemade Tamagoyaki 6 pieces
The first thing to appear is tamagoyaki. Usually the tamagoyaki I am familiar with is rectangular, but the tamagoyaki in this restaurant is composed of six small triangular tamagoyakis, shaped like a fan and a bit like a heart. Look. A friend introduced us to this Japanese restaurant in Tsuen Wan before. Last time we went to eat their lunch set menu. However, my friend said that they are famous for their rolls. They have many styles and the appearance and taste are very good, so I Decided to try again.

Nidao called Mt. Fuji probably because of the mountains of side dishes placed on the roll🤓including crab sticks, crab roe, eel, avocado and crisps. The food served with the roll has a very rich texture🥰but when eating it Be careful, because if you don't realize it, the whole mountain may collapse🤣
