Lunch. Around the Sai Kung square there are multiple almost identical looking eating and drinking spots. We chose Conservatory based on a friend’s recommendation for a lunch. It was good, service was great. The salad we chose was fresh and nicely dressed and the pizza...also a hit. Happy hour starts at 3pm. I’d say a reliable spot for a bite and a drink. Other diners looked happy and relaxed so a nice vibe.More

Bad food, bad service, also discrimination against local people. If they only wanna service the white folks, please just specify before locaks go in.

Caesar salad was a bit sparse with the prosciutto but the service was good and the owner/manager was very friendly. We sat inside and it was a really pleasant afternoon after visiting Sharp Island.

If you are in Sai Kung early for breakfast, give the conservatory a go, and you mind will be blown. They have amazing breakfast meals ,and extremely refreshing drinks. I have only eaten here for breakfast, but I bet all the other meals here would...be good. Staff are pretty good. They take your order as soon as you ask, like any other staff would do. A really nice place, and definitely worth a try!More

Contrary to the reviews below (perhaps learning from feedback), we had no issues with our reservation. We were running a few minutes late and they called us to confirm. I used to eat at Bacar, Cicada and Enoteca I’m Soho before they closed, so it...was nice to see the familiar favourites on the menu! You can’t miss the risotto balls.More

A. When you make a reservation at the Conservatory. Booked in advanced 2 days ahead of time, as we knew Saturday lunch would be a busy time. Arrived and was greeted by the surly head waitress who coined a new low in non-sensical phrases 'we...have no table for your reservation as we are fully booked today'. I've eaten at a few places in my time, good and bad, but this announcement was a new one on me. But wait all wasn't lost. The staff really pulled one of the bag, they found an small collapsible camping table and started to make it up. Sadly it was for only 2 people (we were 4), and they could only put it in the middle of the street as their restaurant was full. We left. They offered no apology and took no responsibility. Their explanation though did make my day. I shall have to remember that in the future. 'You cannot use your plane ticket, as we have already have already used all the plane tickets', 'you cannot buy the reserved item, as we have already sold all the items'. Genius.More

I booked a table at this restaurant, got confirmation and when we got there, there were no tables, they also lied and said to us that the reservations system wasn't working, and that it was already fully booked when we booked but I had just...seen them giving their last table to a 'walk in' who arrived just in front of us. No apology either.More

Excellent menu with a nice variety of small plates. Service was prompt and friendly. We enjoyed sitting outside on a warm early summer evening. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a good meal in Sai Kung.
