It’s a famous place in HK, that displays the Michelin star boards on the shopping window... Basically a restaurant for tourists. I lived in HK for 6 years and in my opinion the quality of the food is not as you may expect from a...Michelin Star restaurant. Furthermore the service given Customers is very poor, rude waiters.More

There is something about this place that keeps you coming back. The yellow noodles are chewy and al dente, the fish balls are massive and satisfying and the wontons are plump and flavorful. It’s not a place to linger and they are keen to have...you in and out when you’re finished.More

A short menu with classics, all good and tasty comfort food. Recommend the prawn wonton soup or the fishballs one. Reminds me a bit of home Jewish soups with an Asian core. I like HK and Soho and it is really nice there.

A bowl of King Prawn Wonton Noodles at Tsim Chai Kee is often our first meal when we arrive in Hong Kong. It is the essence of Hong Kong in a humble but intoxicating bowl. We were fortunate enough to have dined here prior the...Michelin Guide and must congratulate it for not letting fame ruin it. King Prawn Wonton Noodles HKD33More

Dined here twice and it was excellent. Be prepared to order quickly, there is only 5 items on the menu but it’s all very tasty. Cash only like most restaurants in HK

No idea why this place has all the awards, just cheap food in HK. It was ok, nothing to rave about, just ok. Service was fast and efficient, this is a no frills place and that includes no smiles from the staff. Would not return...personally but ok if you are on a very tight budget.More

This is Michelin Rated restaurant is a very simple, small noodle shop (restaurant) offering a very small menu with only 4 things on the menu - noodle soup - with shrimp wontons, or sliced beef, or fish balls. $33 HKD ($4 USD) plus a steamed...Chinese vegetable with oyster sauce. You can combine the wontons, beef and fish balls and choose two or three of them in the same soup. Other than beverages, that’s it. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner - all with the same simple menu. With the exception of breakfast, there most usually is a line of local people waiting to get inside and once in, be prepared to share a table with others because every seat is utilized. It’s all worth it. You will be delighted and I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family.More

Wonton noodle soup is a must here. It is big, juicy, fresh and full of flavour. When I was having it in the afternoon, I could see the staff making it from scratch at the back. Can’t get fresher than that. Would definitely go back...there again!!More

The Wellington Street branch of Tsim ChaiKee has been recommended by Michelin every year since at least 2005, quite a feat. This branch impressed me with the hygiene, something you may not find among the cheap eats of Central. The Wontons taste good and its...ingredients eg the shrimps within are fresh & seasoned well. The size of the Wontons has not been shrunk to a miserable small size, as you may find in some Wonton Noodles places that are a tad to keen to cut cost. The broth is very authentic, a key item in a bowl of tasty Wonton Noodles. the Noodles themselves are also al-dente to perfection in my view. Come here to sample real Wonton Noodles .More

We came here on the recommendation of TA. We managed to be seated straight away and ordered the king prawn wanton soup with vegetables to share. The food came out instantly and were huge! The noodles were a good firmness and the wantons massive. I...wasn’t the biggest fan of the broth but left a very content customer. Good food at excellent prices!More

This is a michelin bip gourmat place. It is small, with a limited menu which basically specialises in noodles. You can have it with the prawn dumplings, fish balls or beef, or a combination of the 3. Prices range from hk$33-43, depending on how many...ingredients you want with your noodles. The fish balls and dumplings are huge, and the noodles springy. Great value for money. Dont expect ambience though, and be prepared to eat and go as the place is tight. Will come again when i next visit HK.More

We had the option of the 2 toppings noodles, and for the topping we picked the king prawns and minced fish ball. The serving was big - 2 large king prawn wantan + 2 large fish ball. It was simple but yet delicious. Caution on...the chili oil. It gives it an extra “kick” to the overall taste.More

It is in a small lane as I almost missed the place, very small dining space though so crowded, it is definitely worth it for the flavor, the soup was made by flatfish, wonton was full filled with real shrimp inside, and the noodles are...so chewy. You must try this one otherwise you cannot say you taste real Hong Kong food.More
