印度菜好少食，今晚朋友帶我去了大坑一間正宗印度菜館。 餐廳佈置好有印度色彩，店員姐姐都係印度西施，漂亮😀。 Mango Lassi 最有特色飲品非 lassi莫屬，酸酸的味道，開胃。 Hot and Sour Soup 賣相跟中菜嘅酸辣湯相似，連味道都接近。少少的辣度惹味。 Samosa (vegetables) 有拳頭大，餡料非常飽滿。 充滿咖喱香。 Green Chicken Curry with Rice 綠咖喱是不辣的，有微微的椰子香味。配飯或薄餅一流。 Phad Thai 泰式蝦炒河粉。 河粉有煙韌口感。 蛋絲，蔥絲伴吃，層次豐富。
大熱天時嚟到大坑呢一度雖然要行一段距離，不過呢一度除咗充滿歷史特色之外另外都仲有唔少喺飲食雜誌又或者網站度上名嘅餐廳，絕對係又高質又chill得, 🤩地方唔算大嘅大坑基本上啲餐廳都一目了然而且絕大部份都係來自唔同嘅國家所以選擇都的確唔少。 🥳而再行入少少嘅位置就有一間泰印2合1嘅餐廳，兩個國家嘅菜式都係香料為重，的確幾有吸引力😳 Sour & Spicy soup— 🥣喺泰國當然要飲返碗酸辣湯開下胃，加埋雞肉落去就更有味道。🐥呢一度嘅酸辣湯相對就比較親民，即使唔太接受到辣嘅都可以輕易嘗試， 酸度同辣度到適中，最精彩嘅當然就係大量嘅配菜，有菇類有雞肉亦有菜同埋蘿蔔絲，🥕每啖都可以享受到多重嘅食材，熱辣辣之下飲返一碗更加符合泰國風情🤤 Third Man Pla— 🐟呢個即係泰式魚餅，裏面就有少少似扎肉嘅質地，當然熱辣辣去食嘅時候就更加feel到裏面嘅微小魚肉汁，🐟的確係鮮味十足，要點埋甜酸醬先至係最正宗嘅食法🐟 Butter chicken with rice— 🍛嚟到印度嘅環節，相信依個都係一款印度嘅標誌性菜餚，成個咖喱同雞肉都充滿煙熏、濃郁和牛油味，🍛再加上用咗番茄製作嘅咖哩，整體就減低左刺激度，入口更加輕盈，🍛少咗印度咖喱嘅重口味，撈飯或者撈烤餅都絕對一流🍛 Pad Thai — 🍝又再兜返去泰國嘅味道，相信你一味菜絕對係泰國唔少得嘅菜式，充足嘅份量全部都係泰式粿條再加上雞蛋碎蝦仁花生碎韭菜一齊炒，🍝香氣十足，仲有唔少嘅櫻花蝦碎，成個味到就更加充滿蛋香更加有海鮮味。🦐 Mango lassi — 🥭正宗印度飲品絕對係芒果奶昔，濃郁嘅芒果肉搾成漿，再加上乳酪同牛奶再一齊攪勻至綿滑嘅狀態，🥭既濃郁又消暑 整體嚟講咁多樣彩色到做得出水準而且非常注重味道同食材嘅平衡所以就減少出現過重口味嘅情況🤤 Chor Bazare Indian Cuisine (大坑) 大坑新村街14號地下
Discovered this joint randomly on foodpanda and the menu is exactly the same as Haveli. When I got there, I recognized the guy from Haveli. The guy was really helpful when I was ordering because he advised which naan would go best with the curries.
Cozy little place for traditional Indian food Love the starter with the classic green lime paste Red spice is a little bit too spicy This is my first time to try the lassi It’s actually a more thickened smoothie Lamb masala is yummy as well...The lamb is cooked just right with half fat Definitely need to pair it with naan There are more than just the normal naan but a total of over 20 choices Portion is huge too!More

This is a small family owned joint, with another restaurant in the Tin Hau area (which used to be purely vegetarian) and this had meat options. They've actually both now got very similar menus; and I can highly recommend the Lamb Rogan Josh. There is...such a mix of good restaurants in the neighbourhood, and this doesn't let standards down. Decor is simple, it's all about the food. Which we find tasty. The sag paneer was good too. Drinks offered too. If you're after an Indian; that suits a UK palate, and you're in the area; I would give it a go!More
This is a quaint restaurant with very friendly staff. However, the service is rather slow and the food served is mediocre.
Chor Bazare had really tasty food. I went there a couple of times with family so we ordered multiple dishes. The first dish we ordered was the Appetizer platter which consisted of butter chicken with rogan josh lamb, Lamb knee masala , masala papad and...naan breads. The food and a really tasty sauce for dipping. The platter was a good size for two people or maybe even three people. We ordered the spicy curry which is something I order at every Indian restaurant I visit. It was nice and spicy and delicious. Next up was something I found unique and that was the Butter chicken curry with Garlic naan . That was my favorite. Absolutely delicious. I can form an addiction to that dish. Next on the menu was something my friends didn't want to order so I ate most of this dish. This dish was the lamb knee masala. It was really tasty. I like soul food a prominent role in that cuisine. Wait did you think that was it ? There are two more dishes. We ordered two types of Basmati rice,The first was the saffron palou rice which was delicious and the other was the kasmiri rice with friuts . Both were delicious. What a gem! Travelling from Australia with a 16 and 13 yo and staying at the ParkLane Hotel, we googled Indian nearby and Chor popped up. Was within walking distance (15min) and in a funky part of the Causeway with other restaurants and bars close...by. We were greeted and seated, the restaurant itself is quite small but oh so quaint and authentic, the food makes up for the lack of space in spades. Amazing curries, appetisers and breads! 10/10More

This place usually has good service but my recent visit to this restaurant has been really bad. First off the waiter took a wrong order and when informed he insisted I ordered wrong. I remember the whole conversation about the order. Supposed to be a...tandoori chicken which was ordered for 5 people and they waiter asked if I want half or full. He totally denied that I order it and said I ordered curry instead. He even went to an extent of saying I looked confused from the moment I entered the restaurant. Like he was judging my mental state over an order of Tandoori chicken that I literally order on every Indian restaurant I go to. Hilarious. To top it all he took away the cutlery from me when asked to change the order, when I told I need them to eat he told he will give me a later. Once the food was placed and I still did not have cutlery and asked him, he literally yelled at me and said he will give it. Not sure what kind of bad day he was having but I had to leave with a bad appetite. Never going back to this place.More
The place is small but really well decorated. The service was friendly. The food.....fantastic! We had two chicken dishes, the palak paneer, naan, raIta, and Dahl. Dry authentic. Decent wine too.
Cramped tables; food OK; service non-existent. Honestly, don't go here. Ever. There are so many other places to eat in Tai Hang.
I was staying at a nearby hotel and read the good reviews of this restaurant. I wasn't disappointed. I ordered a daal and a paneer dish, both of which were very tasty. The mango lassi was also fresh and good.
Always a great eat in curry ( take always can vary somewhat). Great source and good quality meat at reasonable prices. They have two places... One in Tai Hang and one in nearby Tin Hau. Well run with a local manager. Should be in your...curry list!More
