I don't say "Best meal" lightly. I genuinely think this was the tastiest meal I've ever eaten. Do yourself a favor and get there, wait in the long line. Read a novel or two, then treat yourself to the best Peking Duck in all of...China. Seriously though, the line is ridiculously long. Well worth the wait. The staff is also fantastic. I did go during pre-covid times, so things may have changed, but I bet the food is still amazing.More

This place was recommended by our tour guide and when we tried to go the first time it was going to be a 3 hour wait. We instead went slightly off hours and got food to go, but it was yummy. Nice and crispy and...not too fatty was the duck and the pancakes were thin and complimented the duckMore

Unforgettable place! Fantastic peking duck near the Forbidden City. The place was very crowded but very glad we had the patient to wait. Truly worth the wait. (Visited December 2017)

We were taken here by our tour guide as we asked for a recommendation for some good Beijing Duck. This is the best duck our family has ever tried and we also tasted some other local Beijing cuisines. I would recommend to try this place,...especially if your from out of town. It wasn’t even that expensive. The culture and traditional open fire, with the ducks cooking makes this a great experience.More

This was the first restaurant we zoomed in on our first day in Beijing and we were not disappointed. The roasted Peking duck was totally unforgettable. Even my 8 year old who had never eaten duck before loved it to bits. The traditional desserts are...worth a try and I must say probably the best in town. They do sell the same type of traditional dessert outside in other shops but I think those served here are exquisite. I surely want to come back again.More

We arrived at 1445 on a Monday afternoon and were informed of a 20min wait which was fine. The free snacks were nice to pass the time. Sure enough, we were seated 20 mins later and placed our order from the huge menu. The menu...was very easy to choose from thanks to the pictures and English name next to the Chinese description. The duck came out whole and the chef carved our half for us which was interesting to watch. We enjoyed the meal and thought the price was reasonable! About $35 USD for all that food! The downside was the uncleanliness of the restroom. Only 1 for women (as far as I could tell) which was filthy.More

Already tried many other Peking duck and I find this restaurant serves reasonably tasty duck. A different method of doing the duck would obviously brings a different perspective to the taste.

Not worth the wait. Stopped by for dinner and the lady kept saying “20 minutes” (that’s all she could say in english) but waited almost 3 hours and still had lots of people before me. Staff doesn’t know a single word in English. Nothing, nada....Menu has pictures but god forbid you have a question, they can’t answer. There are plenty of other places where you can make reservations and save yourself the frustration.More

Everything we ordered is nice and the price is really cheaper than Dadong which we have also tried. But the waiting space here is so small. Too cold to wait outside. So just squeeze lo. Waiting time about 30 to 45mins. I find worth the...wait. Quite fast moving. I went around 1plus.More
