Do not recommend you’ll find a better environment, better food, better Georgian experience else where don’t waste your money This place gets a one star review, because me at my friends were put in a very uncomfortable situation, I personally ordered a plate of crayfish...and a few drinks, my mates all ordered drinks except 1, and that’s where the problem arose that one friend out of 4 paying customers was approached on our table and the owner not a waiter came and said what do you want to order he said nothing ( he was out enjoying himself with us ) the owner then proceeded to tell him this is a restaurant you can’t sit here with out ordering in a ver y rude manner very very rude, and he was forced to order a drink I understand if that was done to a single person who just came and sat, not to a 5 person table that was ordering.More

It is hard to place you and your friends in my mind because we have been closed since the middle of December 2019 due to the crayfish lake freezing over and then corona virus, so I am guessing that you have been sitting on this...More

I went here with a friend last week, and absolutely loved it. It was our first time trying crayfish, and the server showed us how to open them..delicious :) For drinks, the draft dark beer is great, and the house shot with Tabasco sauce is...even better. If you want to try something unique in Tbilisi, or are in the food for seafood, we highly recommend this place as one of the top restaurants in town :)More

We love seafood so we thought to give crayfish a try in Tbilisi. After we located the place between all the ruins, the welcome was warm and friendly and the Bar itself looked nice and clean. The only food available were small sized crayfish fresh...from the basin. Bread was out of stock and there were no other sides. After ordering, it took quite a time to cook the shrimps, even for us being the only ordering customers. But, there's free wifi, so we didn't mind. When our shrimps arrived, our friendly waiter showed us how to eat them. Crayfish were fresh, that's true, but there's almost no meat to them. The sauces we ordered went back more or less unused, its almost impossible to get any sauce on those minuscule pieces of crayfish meat. After one hour of hard work picking microscopically tiny pieces of crayfish meat from their shells we got the biggest bill in all of Georgia, by far, and left hungry. For crayfish, sauces and two beer we paid around 120 Lari, an amount which would have covered any other two meals we had in Tbilisi. So, should you crave for bread with mayonnaise sauce and tiny pieces of crayfish meat, this bar will do. For the love of god, I can't imagine how this place deserves more than one star. Maybe they give free shots for positive reviews, I don't know. If one is looking for friendly staff, nice cold and fresh beers, and a nice TV, its okay. But, come stuffed, or leave hungry.More

When I discovered this place in Tbilisi I was determined to visit, as I am a big shell-fish fan. I do not think I have ever had crayfish on the shell, but I have been eating prawns and shrimp all over the world for decades....The place is run by 2 very friendly and efficient guys, so I ordered up 200 grams of fish and a glass of white wine. One of the guys gave me a demo of how to de-shell the creatures not that I needed it because of my experience with prawns. However, these Georgian Crayfish are a different kettle of fish - pardon the pun. The shells are extremely tough and while the heads and tails came off easy enough, squeezing the top shell is a bit of a trial. In addition to that, generally the flesh wants to adhere to the shell so this was a test I did not pass. This was no fault of the owners, simply that I found the de-shelling a trying experience. Well worth a visit if you can cope with Crayfish shells.More

Let me start by saying this, I normally don't come here for the crayfish but because it's a very nice place to visit. The service is excellent and extremely friendly and their draft beer actually tastes fresh (which unfortunately is not given in Georgia). They...do have a decent drink selection. When I did try the crayfish (earlier this year) I also found them to rather enjoyable if a little bit pricey, they are however also quite pricey when on sale in local supermarkets. The staff will be more than happy to show them to you in their aquarium.More

This is the worst supposed restaurant I have ever visited. It involved struggling three hundred yards through rubble and demolition works to an underground damp ridden cellar. The paint was peeling off the walls and the one unsanitary loo was used as a store cupboard...as discovered later after ordering. We sat outside near a rusting staircase. The waiter cajoled us into a larger plate than intended assuring us that they were proper crayfish and to buy thre combo sauces. Eventually despite the place being almost empty a heap of what looked like "Parktown prawns" a real pest in South Africa arrived. Littlle red knuckles. The waiter asked if we knew how to open them and then was unable to do so himself. The sauces had to be asked for and went unused. They were in revolting little mannikin dishes and no napkins were provided and I had to ask for a bowl of water to wash our hands in. It was reluctantly provided in what looked like a dog dish. The little red bricks of crayfish were totally inedible even if you could open them. It was alo the most expensive meal that we had in a week in Tbilisi and we were badly misled to go to such a revolting venue. The staff were also rude when we pointed out that the food was awful and the service abysmal Truly one of the most revolting culinary experiences of my life!!!More
