After a morning filled with sight seeing around Istanbul, we stopped here to grab a quick lunch before heading back to the hotel. It was highly rated and it did not disappoint. We got the spicy beef wrap and it was so flavorful with the...right hint of spice throughout. They even provided us with some pickled peppers for an extra kick.More

The wraps here definitely lived up to the hype! Visited twice for lunch during our trip because it was so good. Very friendly staff and several tables so that you can sit outside and enjoy your meal.

After days of walking and touring around Istanbul, my body really craving a portion of good and delicious food, and Mr. Durumzade saved my life with a simple Kebap sandwich!!!! It was delicious, finger-licking food that only cost 25 TL with pack of spicy pepper...as a side dish. One sandwich is more than enough for one hungry person!More

This is a very simple looking kebab shop on the corner of a street. But don't let that fool you...the Adana kebab here was delicious! Very good price for a portion which was just right for lunch. The bread is also good to compliment the...kebab.More

Got the 25TRL Spicy Beef/Lamb Platter. Not too spicy (as recommended by the outgoing GM/Owner?), very flavorful. First thought was that the kebabs were on the skinny side, but it was actually the perfect portion/ meat-bread ratio. + Ayran yogurt drink and a Water I...like that the durum? Was cut into small pieces. Fresh veggies, the side salad that came with it (red cabbage, tomato, cuk was fresh but 'generously' doused in a vinegar dressing. The place is a super casual, to-go place with 4 small tables inside & 5-6 tables out on the side street. Orders are flying in & out quickly, with a grill cook & 3 guys packing- took a little time to get my dinner FYI. 1 Star off for the machismo-istic VIBE. Customer service was very friendly & attentive but it was OBVIOUS (no interpreter needed) that all the workers where talking about the petite Asian female there. Every time I looked up, I met the eyes of the cook/GM/runner staring at different times. (Men in Turkey seem to stare anyway, but...) A lot of chatter among the staff- not very peaceful. There was another foreign couple there- they'd stare at the young woman also. But everyone else inside were male, the diners sitting outside were a mix of tourists & locals (love that restaurants spill out onto the streets). But it got annoying after a while. If you're female, I'd choose a table outside, far from & with your back to the restaurant...but then your order may take longer, as they don't see you. Or just get it to go..place it & come back in 5 minutes. Interesting how a middle-aged woman came up with a huge bowl of salad prepped. Don't think they would haggle her though.. No Reservations brought me to this restaurant! Not too far from İstiklal Street, nice little section of cafes & shops. Good mix of local + tourist.More

This place is very small with only a few tables inside and some outside. Very friendly staff who gave us English menus - there were only a few dishes and limited selection of drinks. Having had kebabs for 3 straight days, we selected the wraps...and yes, they were excellent ! The meat was beautifully charred and the wrap was warmed up before adding the meat along with vegetables and sauce. It was different from the wraps from other shops - more juicy and succulent. Highly recommended if you are around the area. Do take note that this is not really a place to hang out for a long meal - customers will be waiting for the limited seats.More

No, I should say the very best kebab that I have ever had. The place is very unassuming and simple, however the food is the best you can get and inexpensive to boot. I could eat here every day

This is by far the best Adana I had while I was visiting Istanbul and it's not that expensive. We payed 2 adana wraps, 1 ayran and 1 water around 40TL.
