The food is the best I've had in Bishkek. The kitchen is of a high standard compared to the rest of the city. Although my dish, which I ordered twice, was not exactly the same, the quality left nothing to be desired. The chef was...not there at lunchtime and so the discrepancy can arise. Anyway, everything we ate was very fine. The prices are fair. The service is good for Bishkek standards, but could be a bit more subtle. As soon as we had the card they wanted to take the order. This is generally a phenomenon in the country. We learned that there will be a other restaurant from the sam owner that we will certainly visit. The ambience in the interior is pleasing, the garden could be upgraded a bit. All in all, we'll be back, thank you.More

Cafe Pur Pur is a must do in Bishkek. The food is delicious and authentic Georgian (try the lamb ribs with meat that falls off the bone and the traditional cheesey bread) and the wine is amazing. Definitely go for the Georgian wine. The owner/manager...is very nice and welcoming so don't forget to try her homeade Grappa! The decor is like steeping into the home of an antique dealer. Warm and cozy but also interesting with many areas to explore!More

We have been to Georgia several times and liked the food and especially the wine. So we had great expectations when we found out that there is a Georgian restaurant in Bishkek. It even has the same name as our favorite restaurant in Tbilisi! We...were not disappointed. The food was very tasty, and the service was friendly and fast. And the wine was very good!More

A local friend introduce us to this place. The food at this restaurant is very good. Price is quite reasonable, atmosphere and service really nice. It is easily accessible from most hotel. We would definitely be back.

Ate here on the recommendation of Lonely Planet - they were right, it is good. As always, attempted but failed to finish a large but delicious kachipura. Local wine served - I chose white, it was fine.

OK, this place is full of ex-pats and foreigners of various stripes. The upside is the staff is tolerant of non-Kyrgyz speakers. This is not the totally westernized restaurant. The menu looks type-written and authentic to the place. The choices were all very tempting to...me. I did a sampling of dishes that were authentic to the region. I tried a "local" wine which was moderately dry and enjoyable. The decor was sensual and inviting. Service was appropriately attentive. I have reflected on my dinner in the weeks since and would love to be back for another round.More

Have been here twice, excellent food and atmosphere both times! Will will certainly be coming again. For us, this was an introduction to Georgian cuisine and culture. This is clearly a must-see, must-visit, must-enjoy restaurant in Bishkek!!

We went to this place with a group of 8 people. Service was friendly and efficient, the food was great and the homemade wine was also nice. Prices are average. Guests of the nearby Interhouse hostel get a 10% discount.

Food was nicely cooked, arrived quickly and tasted good. Service was adequate. The restaurant area itself was a bit dusty, and toilets need better cleaning.

This is so far our best food experience. The entire group of 7 loved it. A friend that has been visiting Bishkek for decades recommended we come here. We over ordered but it was al delicious and very competitive in it’s pricing!

Our son took us and his hosts to this restaurant. It was our first taste of Georgian cuisine. The food was well presented and came to the table quickly and hot. We had traditional starters to share followed by delicious kebabs. The limited range of...available deserts was the only disappointment.More

Georgian food is among the world’s best, and Pur-Pur is good, but not as good as the best, especially as it is not inexpensive by Bishkek standards. Khachapuri and shashlyk are decent but not memorable. Good eggplant dishes.

Great spot for dinner with delicious Georgian food and a lovely ambiance. We ordered four dishes and everything we ordered was delicious and portioned on the generous side. We had to pack half one plate as "take away". The service was great but the only...odd thing was the prices on my husband's menu and my menu were different.More

Pur-pur oozes Caucasian atmosphere and a variety of hearty Georgian dishes: enjoy a great hachapuri - if you you are hungry enough - lobio, shashlyk, and much more.
