We really enjoyed our dinner there. The place is cute, clean and we enjoyed the kimchi plov and tofu bibimbap! Would recommend!

Fabulous. The lovely staff ask how you like your drinks (hot or cold) and serve real Korean food and nice coffee. Very cool
Thank you so much for your review. We are so happy that you had a great time at Chicken Star. Hope you have a wonderful day! - CS team
One of the best restaurants in Bishkek. Chicken is simply delicious. Try the Korean one. You can taste some of the Korean food as it is in South Korea. Staff is kind and attentive. The only thing that can be improved is the waiting time...for the food.More
Thank you so much for your review. We are glad that you had a great experience at Chicken Star. We will try our best to improve our cooking time. Since we receive an order to start cooking to make all our dishes fresh, some times...More
This was the first restaurant that I visited while in Bishkek and if it’s a sign of what is to come with other places in the city then I’ll be very impressed. From the moment I walked in the girls were super friendly & spoke...English very well. I went for the classic friend chicken, home cut fries & a local beer all where great. I have to say the Korean spicy sauce was awesome. The place is super international & everything can be found in English, you can also come here just for a coffee too.More
Hello! Pandemic? We love Chicken Star but have been so disappointed that servers are not wearing masks or taking any precautions to help prevent COVID. Been doing take out and have tried to eat in now and then but the no-mask thing is getting me...mad. Will not be back till pandemic is over. Seriously, get your act together!More
Many people recommend me this place included the owner of La Maison which is the best restaurant of Bishkek but my experience was so bad there ! The food was oily and not tasty at all ! Sorry ! Was not impressed at all even...by the service which was not frankly friendlyMore
Disappointing but understand that with the recent pandemic restaurants are not all functioning at a high level of performance or service. However, I felt annoyed that we had to constantly ask for assistance, received warm, not cold water, and the waiter could not speak English...at all. A supervisor had to come over to take our orders. I felt disappointed as I had heard this was a venue that catered well for foreigners, but we received poor service, and left feeling so agitated, we had to go somewhere else to get a coffee. Our food choices, vegetarian had few choices on the menu. and the decoration of art was not professional on the walls, rather high school level of competency, very disappointing,More
Offers a unique, quirky, funky service with great tasting food and beers. Service is fresh and cool.
The best time to come is Friday, Saturday to listen to the live music and enjoy the various types of chicken! If you come to Bishkek don't forget to visit any time!
thank You so much !!!
It's an international place where lots of expats come to enjoy fried chicken. Ambince is good, lively. On week-ends there is live performance. I recommend to try spicy garlic chicken. If you wanna feel as if you are in international cafe this is the place...to goMore
Came here after reading the reviews and we was not disappointed. Cheeky little sushi dish washed down with beer
We ordered 2 half chickens for the 3 of us and a few appetizers. We ate every last piece. The chicken was not to spicy and the jeju cocktail hit the spot. The ambiance was fun, friendly, and the staff were so caring. We loved...this place. It was the best meal of our trip to Bishkek!More
Excellent selection of Korean inspired food. The fried chicken was delicious. Servers spoke English and were kind and friendly. Lovely outdoor seating area. Will definitely go again (and again).
We were told about this restaurant by a passer by in Bishkek. As a vegetarian I wouldn’t normally have thought that this was for me, despite it being highly recommended in the Lonely Planet Guide. Thank goodness I came along. Starters were gorgeous vegetable and...kimchi sushi. Really tasty and beautifully presented and prepared. The real highlight was the Kimchi Plov. The Plov was so good that my partner and I had to order a second bowl. We felt greedy but we are only in Bishkek the once, so who cares what people think. Very centrally located, and perfect for lunch and dinner. It also does damn good coffee so no excuse not to visit, but eat here if you can!More
We arrived at Chicken Star during a power cut yet we were welcomed warmly, assisted with ordering by torch and candlelight, and served some really tasty KFC (Korean fried chicken) accompanied by Korean pickles, tteokkochi (excuse my spelling) and kimbap rolls. Good drinks selection. Service...was super friendly and attentive.More
