The best place to try local cuisine!

Once you are visiting Bishkek and looking for a good place to have tasty and fresh local food, and for some reasons are short in time - this is a right place to go. Fast service, hot and fresh meals, cooked right away, very Central Asian atmosphere. Good for lunch. Has "grab'n go" service, also way too popular among locals. The rush hour is from 12 to 2 p.m., so it is better to come a bit earlier (food is too good, so there might be a queue of some hungry people :) One should also keep in mind that the place is "halal", so no alcohol is served (which is compensated by the tastes of local green tea and sweet hot fruit drinks).

Local delight, tasty and quick service

Food is very tasty and quick service. Our food was served in our table within 5-8 minutes we have ordered. Good varaety of local dishes. I recommend lagman noodle dish and manty (dumplings) with meat. Only issue is that tables are small.

Arrived around 3:30 on a late October Saturday and the place was full. By the time we got a seat, there was a line out the door. It is common for people to occupy a table before it has been cleaned, which is how we got a table so quickly. Our guide explained the menu to us and he ordered our food. Service was prompt, but unwelcoming. Food was average - nothing to gush about. The star on my plate was the dollops of chili paste I kept adding from the jar on the table. Good thing I asked for a fresh jar before we started - were it not for that, it would have been a pretty boring meal. There is a photo of my potato dumplings, carrot salad, and chili paste in the gallery.

Greasy food, did not enjoy it.

I really don't get why this place has such high ratings. Probably it has to do with different, local taste. I thought my food was utterly greasy. I did not enjoy it at all. I then ordered a chicken skewer and found out it had bones in it. Did not enjoy my meal at all over here. Staff was very nice though.

Hello, today, September 19th, in the evening in Faiz, which is located at the intersection of Zhibek Zholu, 8 pcs of samosas to take away. We found in one of them a thin package 20 cm long, after which our appetite immediately disappeared. PAY VERY ATTENTION TO THIS!

Very friendly service, food not really my thing

I guess it is also a bit of personal taste. I had some noodles with beef and vegtables. Also chicken skewers. The skewers had bones in it. The noodles were so-so. Service was really friendly. I found the food so-so, not very tasty.

Good food!

We visited Faiza cafe with our guide during our Bishkek citytour for lunch. Tried shasliks and Fried egg. They were good. The place seems to be very popular with the locals. It was crowded. We waited for around 15 mins to get in.

Superb Freshly Cooked Food.

Bit of a wait for a table, but quick service makes up for it. You can ask for a menu with pictures and a description. Not a tablecloth in sight and all the tables have an easily cleaned Formica surface . Don’t expect a posh restaurant’s ambiance but the food is all freshly cooked and is extremely tasty. I was paying the equivalent of about 5 US Dollars a meal when food of this quality could easily cost ten times as much in Europe. I visited four times between midday and late afternoon and it was always packed with locals. Even so, the waitresses would try to translate things into English using their iPhones. If you love food rather than posing then this is a place that you must try.

Great, first time experience in Bishkek!

Quite a few locals highly recommended visit Faiza for the first time experience of the local food. And it was definitely a great experience testing the local, delicious food over there. The service was great, food was prepared swiftly...nothing to explain about, really! If you're passing by Bishkek, you should definitely check this place out.

I Have been coming to Faiza every time I am in Bishkek. All the dishes delicious and well prepared. Service fast and polite. This time around I ordered: manti, lagman, ashlan foo, blini with cottage cheese and Samsi. For drinks kampot and green tea. All dishes were very well prepared. Meet inside manti & samsi were finely chopped with perfect amount of fat inside. Lagman & Ashlan foo handmade noodles were perfectly rolled & pulled & tasty at the same time. My family & myself enjoyed all dishes. This place is ideal for a quick simple meals. Highly recommend this place.
