This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and comfy, but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. We’d an excellent dinner the evening before - see my review. We thought that we wouldn’t find another such quality restaurant. By accident we passed by this restaurant during our morning walk and we liked so much the garden and its set-up so we made...a reservation for the evening. Food according to our European taste exceeded our expectations - as appetizers we had the bok choy salad (10/10) and the ceviche (9/10). As main dishes we had the horse ribs (10/10) and the fish (10/10). English language of the staff as well as their knowledge was very good. Live music was there too and the light breeze of air in the garden made our overall experience worthwhile, The only point that I recommend that needs to ‘change’ was the spoed of serving food. We hadn’t finish our 2nd appraiser when the main dishes arrived.More

This restaurant is amazing! It’s a hidden gem located in the old square in Bishkek. The menu has traditional and also very unique dishes. The food is delicious. The beet and burrata salad is a must! The service is top notch. The location is beautiful...and has a fountain and gazebos outside. The inside interior is a must see. It features works of art, paintings and sculptures from local artists. I highly recommend this restaurant. We really enjoyed our visit.More

Beautiful restaurant & area; excellent service & delicious food. The artwork for sale is unbelievable, too. I cannot wait to return to Bishkek & will definitely visit Frunze again. Only the next time I will buy a painting for a wonderful keepsake.

Excellent place and very nice food, only the disappointing part is a service, which destroys everything. We ordered beer while we were choosing the food from menu. Then we ordered wine with main course. Guess what? They brought the food then all drinks together. 🤦🏻‍♀️...no one comes to your table until you will have to search and call the waiter. Frunze is a restaurant for fancy and big occasiona. Seems to cater for local elite gatherings, dinners and weddings. We had quiet dinner. Service was polite and waiter spoke good English. Salad was tasty, beetroot wrap with cheese inside was very good, yak-meet beef was...excellent.More

Best place in town. We ate there four times and you cant regret. Balanced menu that doesn't look either too local or too European. Cooked to perfection high end cuisine. Molecular cocktails. Attentive service with very nice hostess. We will be back

If this restaurant is in my US city, it will receive a 5 Star rating. All the dishes we ordered are delicious and well presented. Service is very good. Surprsingly, the cost is very reasonable for what you get.
