The atmosphere of Maazi is lovely + organic, but the food is what really takes the cake! They offer all different kinds of set meals for both lunch and for dinner. Each set meal comes with a generous portion of delicious foods and variety. Curries, naan, rice, side salad, sauces, and a side option like samosa or okra fries. And the best part is, they are SO vegetarian friendly! Great experiences with Maazi and would certainly recommend!

We went here for lunch as we were looking for North Indian cuisine and this restaurant had a lot of good reviews; and for good reason. The food is really good. We ordered tadka daal, plain naan, rice and the shahi paneer dish (though they didn’t call it that). The quantity was just right for the hungry adults. However the chai, while tasty, they only have half a cup.
The restaurant is large and upscale. It looks like a fun place to host a party. That said a couple things threw me off about this place. 1. The menus are not consistent and printed on cheap paper. My husband’s menu had items that weren’t on mine 2. For an upscale restaurant you’d expect cloth napkins and this place had tiny, flimsy ones in a cup on a table. I only mention it because one needs napkins for Indian food.
Bottomline, I’d go again and it was the best Indian food I had in Hanoi out of 3 different restaurants.
Despite how nice the place looks, it was a cold atmosphere.

Visited this place with my girlfriend and another couple friend on double date. Me and my girlfriend never tried indian food before so it was a new experience for us. The waitress was so kind to explain the dishes and pick the perfect dishes for us. Will surely visit again.

Very over hyped, only 3 people serving the entire restaurant. Very slow service, very cold food, even drinks take a lot of time. Food was just average, as mentioned earlier was served cold. When we entered there were only 3 tables occupied but still the people could not manage with our order, even the neighbouring table was complaining and had the same issue as us.

When you spend close to 10 days in Vietnam, at some point you are going to crave something else other than just Vietnamese food. For us we satiated our want for something else with some Indian Fine dining at Maazi in Old quarter Hanoi. Unlike other Indian restaurants in the area, Maazi has a welcoming ambience, looks high-end, service is top notch and the food is quite good too. The owner AD has put in a lot of thought into the menu and also mans the kitchen occasionally to cook some special dishes! We visited twice during our 5 day stay in Hanoi, and both times the service and the food were great. Special shoutout to our servers Minh and Lavie (I hope I got the names correct) for making sure we had a good meal. Highly recommend this for all those who are looking for good, hygienic Indian food in Hanoi.

Me and my friend visited here as one of the other 3 branches of this restaurant is in the village where she lives in England so we emailed to say we were coming and we were met with such warm welcome and service, Sachin was brilliant at helping with our order and the food came very quickly. The food itself was delicious and we didn’t have one bad mouthful. I couldn’t recommend this place more as even the price was good for the quality and quantity of food you get

Great overall experience! The hosts are very welcoming and the overall ambiance is amazing.
We went for pure vegetarian options and the host suggested us some great curries to try. They even ensured to make non-spicy food for our little one.
Honestly, the food taste was not the best of the best but I would say it was one of the best among the Indian restaurants in Hanoi. And on top of that, the overall hospitality makes it a great experience to dine in at MAAZI

Pungent and tony served us, a wonderful Indian meal. We went traditional vegetable samosas, beef madras, Dahl makhini, roti, garlic nan, and sag paneer, all top quality, washed down with a very pleasant red wine. Service good, food delightful.

The restaurant opens until 1AM but in fact they open all through the night if they have clients. Opening a bar or restaurant after mignight is against the law in Vietnam. Loud clients throughout the night keeps neighbors awake is an uncivilized manner. The restaurant is too greedy.

I first found their restaurant during the pandemic as they were offering a delivery service. The quality of the food was absolutely outstanding. Since then I have been looking forward to dining in one day.
I was really pleased with the service given by this restaurant. The ambience is so welcoming; the staff are very accommodating, and the food tastes truly authentic.
I will definitely return to this restaurant again, if I'm not ordering takeaways from them instead!

Wow such amazing food, staff recommended the hyderabadi achari chicken with garlic cheese naan. The kitchen knocked it out of the park, the dish was so tasty with just enough spice. Pleasant atmosphere with updated decor, I stumbled upon this resturant while shopping in downtown Hanoi. They came to check on me and ask me if everything was to my liking. Please take time to go visit this resturant if you are in town, you won't regret it.

Recently ordered a take out from Maazi. I had previously dinned in at their UK branch as well and wanted to try food here and I am not disappointed. Food is every bit delicious and portions are good size as well. Looking forward to dine in here as well. They have a beautiful place.

We tried both the branches in Maazi for dinner, 1st we 13 people went to old quarter then West-lake consecutive 2 days 19/5 & 20/5, we booked through Ms. Xyuen, Indochina Best Tour on package basis, the food was excellent, we start our dinner with starter and finish with dinner, all the items were excellent, specially fish and chicken menu, the service was good and prompt, the staff can understand Hindi as well as English, but the the Hanoi branch was excellent. I highly recommended to have dinner at MAAZI for original Indian taste, both the branches have separate PUB. The Ice-cream was so delicious and smooth. Thanks for great welcoming and wish to visit again. The specialty of the restaurant that they serve gluten free meal with too much spice.

We had an amazing dining experience! The food was delicious, and we devoured everything on the plate, particularly enjoying the dals and pani puri. The place looked fantastic, and the service was incredibly friendly with lovely waiters.

My coworker brought me to this restaurant after coming back from the factory. It was a five minute walk from the Sheraton and I had no idea it was so close.
We entered on the ground floor and were brought upstairs and seated.
The menu was quite extensive and it took a little time to choose.
We started with the vegetable samosas and it was filled with potatoes and peas and cooked nicely.
I chose the Lamb Biriyani which contained chunks of lamb with medium spice. Lamb was tender and was a good choice.
We shared a side of the chicken tikka naan roll which was almost like a burrito. It was filled with lots of bell peppers and chicken and filling.
Service was good and we both enjoyed the meal. I will come back again.
