This little restaurant is on the corner of a busy intersection, but very quiet and comfortable inside. They start you off with warm bread and the menu provides a great selection of incredible food. My first time there I ordered the lasagna and salad, which were both incredible. The food was so good that I went back one last time before I left the city and got the gnocchi, which was also delicious. Both times I visited, the wait staff and manager were so kind and accommodating. Overall, the food and wine are well-priced, very authentic, and worth coming back to. Would highly recommend!

This restaurant was recommended by an Italian friend who came in Bangkok last year. This is the second time that we have dinner here, we were so glad that we want others to know how great it is.
The food (and the coffee!!!!) was like in Italy. The mozzarella cheese (burrata) was very good and, please, order “Ravioli al ciauscolo in crema tartufata” You will not be disappointed!

Than you so much for the super review and for the five stars! We are glad that you tasted and appreciated our speciality, the ravioli al ciauscolo, our “king dish”.
It has been a real pleasure to see you again and, needless to say, we hope to see you every time you come to Bangkok

I have heard about this restaurant somewhere in Chit Lom and I decided to pay a visit next day, from Sukhumvit, by Bts sky train. You have to change in Siam, taking Silom line,Bang Wa direction.Just go out by exit 3 and in front of it's Ailati resto restaurant.
Cosy ambiance, very rustical decorated, you feel in an uncomplicated atmosphere as at home, yours preferred dishes, with an Italian flavour, that you cannot image, you are outside of Italy. The chef and owner ,Antonio, welcome you in a relaxing manner, well supported from his team.Enjoy!!

After 2 weeks of Asian street food and Thai cuisine, my stomach was just off. I needed a taste of home and La Scarpetta delivered! A little taste of Italy right in Bangkok. Excellent service, delicious homemade pasta, good vino. Even had room for some authentic tiramisu! Only critique is that the burrata was not the proper consistency like we are used to, but I’m sure it’s tough to come by in this part of the globe. Complimentary limoncello to round out the night. Molto Bene!

We are very glad to have put your stomach back to the Italian taste! This is why we are here for: to give you a taste of home while you are away from home.
Thank you very much for the review!

Although I have been to BKK numerous times, I stumbled by pure accident on Ailati. What a wonderful surprise. As a wine bar, there are a fair number of wines to try from a number of regions, all at reasonable prices. The meal choices are primarily Italian from pizza to pasta to main courses. I tried the pasta and not only was it tasty but it came with freshily gound cheese. I had a window seat overlooking a busy intersection and the entire meal was a pleasure with reasonable prices. I will return.

Brand new Italian Restaurant with a very nice deco and a very friendly owner. Ordered a Pizza, Salad and Carbonara Spaghetti. All cooked and served the way a real Italian Restaurant should do. The Pizza was one of the best i had sofar in Bangkok as well as the Carbonara Spaghetti. Perfectly cooked al dente spaghetti with a hearthy Cabonara sauce the way it should be done, by not using whip cream. For sure will be coming back very soon again.

This place just opened up near our condo. It's amazing!!! We ordered a simple vegetarian pizza and a salad. We were blown away. The quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chef turned them both into the best Italian dishes we've had in Bangkok. We'll be back very soon.

Nice little restaurant at the corner of Charoen Krung and the soi towards the BTS (Saphan Taksin). From street level it looks small (and it may look full) but they have more seating upstairs.
Italian cuisine, with an Italian chef (who is also the owner I think). Main selection is pizzas, and they are wonderful. Thin crust, loaded with stuff, baked in wood oven, large portion. Just as a pizza should be. The menu for other things is a bit more limited, but you can certainly find plenty of stuff to eat if you are not up for pizza. Also nice home made deserts (cannelloni, tiramusu, etc for around 200 Baht). Pizzas are in the 300-400 Baht range.
Certainly recommended.

Was there 2 times in 5 days where I had tuna steak first and salmon on my second visit. My friend had pizza with a crispy thin base, she said it tasted really good.
Small restaurant and they are busy so you have to reserve a table or sit on high chairs (or outside).
Tuna tasted juicy and flavorful, not heavy or tough in any way. The staff ask how you would like it fried. And they use vegetables that you wouldn't think to eat with tuna (small pumpkins, squash, very flavorful vegetables)
The staff are nice and explanatory, they always ask if you are allergic to something.
On my second visit I had salmon, yum tasted juicy and melts in your mouth.
Desserts must also be tasted :)
Tasty experience, must definitely try :)

We discovered this little gem of a restaurant on the last day of our stay in Bangkok and wish we had come across it much earlier as we would have visited again. We were delighted with our meals (a pizza and gnocchi) and very pleasantly surprised as authentic Italian food with quality ingredients is not that easy to find in this city. As a European myself with Italian roots, I know when food is prepared with loving care and passion, this is the case here. We met the owner who is kind and welcoming, and upon chatting with him we understood why his personnel looks so happy to work there, there is a really good vibe in this place. We are sending our local friends to this lovely place and will be back for sure when we return to Bangkok, as we are looking forward to discover other dishes!

This is a wonderful Italian restaurant located in the Bangrak district of Bangkok. Authentic and fresh Italian food - a definite must stop and eat here place. The grilled vegetable appetizer is fantastic, the lasagne and fresh spaghetti with basil and tomato are outstanding. Tiramisu and cannoli for dessert capped an excellent meal. Will definitely be returning to this spot. The staff is wonderful, friendly and welcoming.

We visited Bangkok for a few days and was staying on Silom Road. If your looking for a restaurant near Silom Road that serves fresh and tasty European type food this is the place to go. We had Bruschetta and the Penne Arrabiata both dishes were delicious lots of Fresh Tomato and Garlic on the Bruschetta and the Penne had a nice kick of chilli.
Staff were very friendly and attentive.
Would definitely go back when returning to Bangkok.
