We had Dinner here Christmas evening while staying in Bangkok. We had this booked for quite some time so we were really looking forward it and it did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and professional and had no issues when asked to switch our table and make a slight change to a menu selection. The food was every bit as exceptional as the view and the cocktails a perfect accompaniment.

Seen rooftop bar is located at 26th floor Avani+ Bangkok . Great location. The food and drink is reasonable with exceptional view of ChaoPraya River +City View.
It was very good time there with friends (or couple) . It has such a relaxing atmosphere . All the staff service is out of expectation. Food and drink was great. They will have cocktail of the month inspired by the holiday on that month though.
This review is shouted out to Khun Oat , the most friendly bartender who serve us the best service and suggestion. Thanks for 5 shots of Strawberry dicury something to try haha. It’s very good. I will go back there to buy this one again.

Seen rooftop bar is located at 26th floor Avani+ Bangkok . Great location. The food and drink is reasonable with exceptional view of ChaoPraya River +City View.

Very rude receptionist/waitress with a bad attitude. The organisation and communication among the waitresses is barely existent. They did not even bother to bring us the menu after being seated and after approximately 30 minutes we had to ask for the menu.
Don’t go there if there is some kind of events.
The rest of the place is fine, but will not return because of the poor service.

Shocking service. Appears others have mentioned it too but management don't care! I made a booking. They were not even busy! Even if they were, service at a place like this should be outstanding. There was nobody at reception. When I asked the girl, she appeared stressed and then rudely seated me saying someone else would attend to me. The view and seat were stunning. Beautiful restaurant. Cool music. Really nice. I then had another waiter asking me for my order! Well, it would help if I had a menu! I was then given a drinks and food menu. Both menu's were good. I asked about one dish but the waiter wasn't sure if it had dairy in it. I had to push him to check! He came back and told me there was dairy in it so I had the ora king salmon instead and the fresh coconut juice to drink. Both were well presented and freshly made. The coconut juice was very refreshing. The ora king salmon was very average. I expected to be blown away coming here. These sort of places normally give some sort of complimentary tasters or sides but nothing. The food and drink were just put in front of me. There was no smiling or checking if everything was OK. I was just left. Yes, it was nice to be left in peace but there was no service. Shocking. The best part was about ten minutes into me eating, I was presented with the bill! I was shocked. I asked the waiter if they were closing and he said not till midnight! So I said to him, are you really expecting me to pay now half way during my meal? He could see I was annoyed so left me. What if I wanted more food? I was not offered dessert or to check if I wanted anymore drinks. Another reviewer mentioned events and they appeared to be setting up tables or were just being lazy. It was like they were forcing guests to go! I was told they closed at 22:00 but it is actually midnight. I have been to a number of rooftop restaurants and bars in Thailand. This was the worse. Like another reviewer said, I will not come back here. I hate bad service.

I booked a sofa outside for my wife and I. The seating was excellent with a lovely view of the Chao Phraya river. Unfortunately it started to rain and I was informed that the roof awning didn't work. We were moved inside to the bar area then to a table. The indoor ambiance was not so good, music too loud and distracting and the decor slightly dull.
We finally got a chance to sample the food. The starters we ordered were crab tacos, prawns and oysters. The prawns were ok but no dipping source, the crab tacos were very poor - too much wasabe, tacos not crispy.
The main course was the risotto which tasted mostly of pepper and the pork chop which was slightly overcooked, poorly dressed and was very average.
The service was odd, lots of staff and over-attentive when I didn't want them to be and missing when I needed something.
We were too dissappointed with the food to stay for dessert. The bill came and with a bottle of wine which seemed to have been marked up around 400% the total was eye wateringly expensive. This place doesn't deserve the rating it has got. Very disappointing.

We were staying in the hotel and came here 4 times. Once for cocktails, twice for a light dinner and the fourth time we left without eating after having been insulted multiple times by a waitress.
What’s great: the food, the view and most of the staff.
What went wrong and why won’t we come back: It was our last night in BKK. At the entrance to the restaurant, we were told that a table near the window meant we had to spend 5000 Baht. A new rule that we hadn’t heard the previous 3 nights when we had been seated at the window. The restaurant was half empty, it was a quiet Tuesday night, but it was clear the waitress thought we couldn’t spend that kind of money, were only there for the view and had rather we left. She probably didn’t know we were there for the food and not for the view as our suite has a spectacular wrap-around window just a few floors down from the restaurant. We we’re shown to a table reluctantly and after she gave us the menu, she asked how we were going to pay. 😳 Now who asks that before a patron has even ordered? We told her it could be charged to our room bill. She then asked us what our room number was, making it clear once more that she didn’t think we could afford the dinner, and that she didn’t believe we were staying in the hotel. We decided to leave. The manager came after us and apologized, and offered us a drink but we didn’t want to spend another penny in the place.

We have never trained staff to ask of your payment upon guest arrival ever,
The reason we would like to know you room number is for our record as standard of service required.
Unfortunately that night we have private event which we have to close 2 part of the restaurant,
one at the green zone (garden) and the other area is indoor area in case of bad weather.
Anyhow, Your comments are taken very seriously and will be taken on board for future improvement.

This restaurant was an excellent choice if you are in Bangkok. The Wagyu beef was fantastic together with a very good red wine from South Africa (Cabernet Sauvignon) recommended by the waiter (the price was ok compared to the other wines). The view was amazing, they had an excellent DJ accompanied by a Saxofonist and a Drummer (really cool). The atmosphere and the view cannot be compared to anywhere were I have been before. I loved it!!!!!

A breathtaking view over the river and Bangkok skyline while having dinner. Will say this has been the best rooftop experience during our stay in Bangkok. The scenery and layout of the restaurant / bar is beautiful and modern, I’ll give a extra + for the lounge chill music and live saxophone. It was a little slow service, took a while to get someone’s attention to order drinks and food. But as soon as we got to order the rest was wonderful.
I had the pork chop with red wine sauce and truffle pasta, it was delicious. Will be back for sure!

Let’s start at the beginning… Exited the elevator and was excited as the place looked nice, than we talked with the hostess who quickly turned our experience negative. I am not sure why but she showed us to crappy tables at the bar instead of the many empty tables sitting by the window overlooking the River.
I told her I wanted to sit by the window and she gave me a look like those seats were reserved and than she said I must spend a minimum of 5000 to sit there… Her poor skills really made me want to leave but I was already there . ( By the way the bill was well over 5000 )
So, finally get seated and trying to relax and enjoy. A big wine selection but the wines basically look like the same type but from different parts of the world . I lived in California for many years and I did not see any of the better winery wines listed. Oh well cocktails are good too. ….
The food; we’ve been eating a lot of seafood for the past two weeks so we decided to order meat. We ordered everything medium, but the steak came out a purplish red and tough, so bad that the steak knives had a very difficult time trying to cut . Even the lamb chops were quite rare but at least the knife could cut them.
The service was good, the views are great.

The restaurant is not over-priced, the food is amazing and the view is really pretty, as the location overlooks the Chao Phraya River. My waitress, Khun Kik, is very friendly, recommends good dishes and overall elevates my experience at this wonderful restaurant. Would definitely come again, recommend for both dinners AND casual drinks😊

If you are new to Thailand and Thai cuisine then you must prepare your best menu before you look into the massive menu and get confused with which food to try. you will find some of the best food to try. You can start with the most important thing that you need to know meanwhile you order a meal in Thailand. Some of the meals are spicy that may tickle on your tongue spicy and when you will try eating lava spicy then you will experience the heaven in the food for sure. You should ask for a milder version if you cannot hop whole food.
Don’t let the spiciness frighten you off, as you will mostly witness spiciness in the Thai food. Slowly, in the long run, you will get used to the spicy flavor. This might take you a few days filled with bathroom series, but steadily you will enjoy the taste and mostly will fell in love with Thai cuisine for sure.

This is the first time as per a warm welcome the person in entrance of Seen Restaurant said : " how much you will spend ? If more then 5000 bahts you can sit here"!!!! In a real hospitality place you will NEVER hear that!! You can imagine a person in Mandarin Oriental saying that??haha. Never!!
Moreover, the food is really normal, white fish with no taste. Just the view is wonderful but 3000 bahts for one appetizer,one dish, one coktail and water is just crazy!!!!

If you want to have an exceptional evening with some of the best food, look no further. We have been coming to BKK every year and eaten all over the city. It was my girlfriends birthday and wanted somewhere different but good quality. Finding the entrance is interesting, walk through the shopping centre to a lift at the back. Lift to Avani reception, turn right as you come out of lift, 2nd lift up to 26. The staff at SEEN were fantastic, really make you feel special. I had pre booked a table outside overlooking the river (recommend). The cocktails are very different and really good, with plenty of alcohol! The food here is absolute top quality plus very generous portions for fine dining. Crispy prawn starter, very large tempura style succulent prawns. Wagyu beef was sublime, again large portion. Coconut experience to share for dessert....fab. Then retired to the outside seating area which was great. Music was very good with silent DJ. This really is one of the best places in the world to eat and drink and this restaurant has everything to make it to number one in Bkk. Must mention the staff who served us, all spoke perfect English and made it a very special evening for us especially SOM who looked after us. Definitely will be back here again, the other rooftop bars dont compare for atmosphere or quality of food.
Try it you wont be disappointed.
