This was a very pleasant surprise..... our guide brought us here and we were lucky to get a table on the roof terrace, which was perfect. Loads of sun shades, clean and well presented. There are a number of set menu choices, starter, main and...dessert with something to please everyone for 150Dm per person. (Drinks are extra). Portion sizes are not large but adequate and all our choices were very tasty. Staff were super efficient and friendly. Could not really fault anything, all very enjoyable. (I don't think we would have enjoyed it so much if sitting inside the main restaurant, the terrace made all the difference). The Mausoleum of Mouley Ismail is just a few minutes away.More

The owner or manager and the service staff were very welcoming and friendly. There were a few vegetarian items on their menu, so had to choose for vegetarian cuscus, with soup and a desert, which was served very hot and freshly prepared and was served...in closed clay pot which is common in all morocco restaurants. Though it was very bland and not spicy, I ate it because I was feeling very hungry and the food was fresh and healthy. The restaurant is neat and clean and very spacious with a lot of foreign visitors as customersMore

Brought here by our guide at about 3pm for our main meal. Pleasant decor, fixed price option for several multicourse meals. Good service. Relatively more expensive than other places we've visited but adequate. Better than many old reviews.

We organised a day trip from Fes to Meknes, and our guide took us to this restaurant. The menu included appetisers and starters, as well as a soup, the main dish and desert. As it was Friday, we ordered a couscous as a main. Overall,...the quality of the food was not really there. The couscous was quite bland, there was a lot of grains and the vegetable were not that well cooked. However, the terrasse is lovely, and service went above and beyond to please us.More

The worst and most expensive food we had in Morocco. We could not eat anything and left hungry. It is a typical tourist trap( our tour guide brought us here). Lamb was impossible to chew, horrible tangine... Stay away! Can’t imagine who could give this...place more then one star- I would give none, if I couldMore

FYI, just speaking based on experience. I’m unsure why our hired driver just took us here without even asking us first. I still have to contact the tour company I dealt with if this was part of the itinerary but I don’t recommend this place...at all for future travellers. This place was the cause of my stomach problem in Morocco and had it for the entire trip even after I got back home. The food was expensive, the most expensive meal I’ve ever had in Morocco and still gave me stomach problems. They charged 150dh for each person before tip and the items on the menu are all in sets (app, main and dessert). The food didn’t come hot and didn’t taste good and fresh either compared to the other food places in Morocco. The washroom was dirty when I was there and the restaurant was huge with almost no one in it. Again, I’m just speaking based on my experience in that restaurant.More

I ended up in that restaurant because I was on a guided tour and that's where apparently all guided tours take tourists. The restaurant is super tacky and the food is really average. I got sick after eating there while I had been in Morocco...for five days and everything was fine with the food. The only positive aspect of the restaurant is the service: waiters are really nice and speak tons of foreign languages. If you are on a solo tour, as I was, you should refuse that your driver or guide takes you there and chose your own restaurant.More

Mediocre-to-substandard food, extremely slow service, grossly overpriced and catering to large groups of foreigners... yes, it’s a tourist trap. You have been warned.

This was a place mostly for tourists that our guide took us to. That said, the food was delicious. I had a tajine of beef and prunes and my husband had the kabob. The starter salads were all delicious and we enjoyed the main courses....We chose the oranges and cinnamon for dessert. The setting was one large room.More

Nice restaurant, with great food and service. Although it is a little bit more expensive when compared to other restaurants in the area.

We had lunch on the terrace upstairs. It was a beautiful day and it was lovely to eat outside. The food was delicious and flavorful. The service was excellent. Our waiters were a lot of fun.

Were here with our group to eat. local is so nice, very nice decor and pictures on the walls. we sat at tables of 8 persons. Menu has several choices of 3 dishes predefined from which to select. first are salads, then a tagine and...last some deserts. the cost in around 130 dirhams (13 euros more or less). Food was tasty, service went a bit slow. Drinks are separate.More
