Excellent menu choices for everyone! My sister had a vegan option and I had a meat option and we were both so pleased! Will definitely be back sometime!

Amazing little pub like atmosphere with great food. Nice bar selection and great food. Staff is very young but warm and knowledgeable. The gyro meat was so tender and the burgers were huge. We had them make everything super spicy with a pepper sauce(hotter than...jalapeño)and would get that everytime. Will definitely return when back in Ames.More
This place has some of the best fries I've had anywhere, and the sandwich too was also made incredibly well. You can tell the chefs put a lot of effort into what they make, and it pays off in the taste. The atmosphere of the...place is also pretty nice, they have a ton of flags strewn across the walls and top of the bar - giving it a nice welcoming feeling.More
while I didn't like the hamburger that I ordered. I love the french fries and the drinks were amazing! Best part about the place was the ONE waiter for the entire place because someone called out at the last minute. He was friendly, fast, had...a great memory, and we all loved him by the end of our dinner. Unfortunately we failed to tip him what he was worth. There was so many of us in the confusion everyone thought everyone else was giving the tip. This man was wonderful. This business is sooo lucky to have him.More
Still a local gem… Still delicious. Care is taken to make every meal. The staff is friendly, attentive and efficient. Café Beaudelaire loves Ames and Ames loves Café Beaudelaire.
This little restaurant always meets our expectations. It is a hidden gem in Ames. The staff is always attentive and kind. We have never had a bad experience with our food. My husband raves about the Beaudelaire burger and my favorite is the Beirut with...a chicken breast. The Brazilian fries are delicious and the selection of beer and cocktails is great too. We recommend this place to anyone coming to town.More
Only thing better than the sandwiches are the Long Island Ice Teas made perfectly without too much Coke or too tart. Don't forget getting the Brazilian fries. The Cuban sandwich always requires leftovers.
Small locally owned place with fantastic food! I always get a gyro, but finally switched and got a Spanish Burger. OMG So good! The Long Island Ice Teas are Divine!! The service is excellent. Everything we ever get here is delicious!
Small seating area as always busy! Nice place to eat and menu has variety. Not my favorite, but we were here on a Sunday when menu was limited at lunchtime.
Cafe B (as it is commonly known) is a fantastic place to go for American/Brazilian fusion cuisine. If you want a burger or a delicious sandwich, COME HERE. I HIGHLY recommend the Beirut with chicken and their Beaudelaire Bauru. The fries as the side is...essential, their mayonnaise sauce with it is amazing, so don't bother with the ketchup. Their Bloody Mary, although a little pricey, is to die for. Brunch, Lunch, Dinner, Afternoon Snack, Cafe B is the place to go.More
Finally made it here on a saturday afternoon when we had the time. We ordered the Cuban and the Garlic spagetti. Both excellent. Of course, a Long Island was a must, and it lived up to it's hipe! Definately be back.
Food is delicious; place is not huge, but it has a wonderful atmosphere. The feijoada at this Brazilian restaurant is delicious and generously-sized. I made two filling meals of it,
The Cafe Beaudelaire owner is a brazilian guy, who lives in Ames for more then 20 years. Here you can eat the Iowa`s best burguer and some barzilina food too, like "Feijoada" and "Pastel".
The burgers were fair but OVERPRICED!!! $12.50 for a burger and a few fries. The wait staff was nice but really slow to get to us. The manager was a bit rude when I asked him if anyone turned in a phone charger.
After moving our child into dorm, we crossed the street and walked into this bar/restaurant. It was a great decision. Food is excellent. Standard comfort food with a tiny bit of a flavorful twist. I ordered the basic burger and the meat was so moist...and flavorful that putting any condiment on it would have diminished it. It is probably more expensive than the average college student's budget would allow but worth the small splurge with sandwiches priced around $12+.More
