A charming restaurant nicely decorated with colorful umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. I ordered an apple and brandy crepe with ice cream on top, delicious! The salty crepe I did not like it that much as the crepe texture was thick with a green color...and a rare flavor. They serve a complimentary salad with main plate which was good. Good prices. About $9 per salty crepes and $4 per sweet crepes.More

Not for high class dinner, The sandwiches are good, not more The bar is tiny- no alcohol to order The food is average and not fare with the price, nothing special about this restaurant except the cool umbrella design within.

Very nice atmosphere, food was good, not too expensive and the staff was friendly. When we went it was almost empty, so I hope it does not go out of business. A pleasant change from the usual Xela eateries, not too fancy and yet far...from the junk food places that one usually ends up in.More

Brule has a nice location with a covered patio and several inside rooms to sit and dine. Food was of good quality, service very charming, wine a bit expensive.

I'm a pretty demanding customer and it quite difficult to surpass my expectations, but I've to recognize that the quality, taste and presentation of Brulé's deserts were way beyond what I expected. Appetizers: definitively saumon's carpaccio and prawns (camarones). Onion soup was not very good...(too creamy). Entrees were all very good (we tried two different meats, sesame chicken and fish). And deserts were so good (French kiss, crepe brule, and a chocolate cup) that largely cow sated for somewhat long delays between courses (there was a convention of doctor occupying almost all tables at the same time of our party) and a small problem with the bill. Definitively a must if you visit Quetzaltenango.More

This restaurant calls itsef a "gourmet" place...?Well it does not deliver what expectations it sends to potentual customers. When 1 dish is on the menu with a honey-mustard sauce and another dish a black pepper sauce and they both come with the same "out of...a jar" ready made ketchup/mayo mix, you are certainly not a gourmet place. OK my dish had some pepers sprinkled over it but to call this a black pepper sauce is just crazy...More

I like going here in the late morning or early afternoon for coffee. There is a quiet room with a nice sofa and chairs where I like to sit and read. The coffee is good and the most basic costs Q10, a very reasonable price.
